Review:The workbook doesn’t go with the book. They are two different editions. The exercises from the book are completely different from the ones in the workbook. Very confusing. Makes workbook a waste of money. Read more
Review:Bought this one at the insistence of my son because he feels that he has learned a lot from it. Haven't started working with it quite yet but was looking at it when he was here and can see that it will be a great learning tool. Read more
Review:I highly recommend this book for children wanting to draw better, former artists needing a refresher or just anyone wanting to make their art better. It is written on a beginner level but goes into some detailed artwork. As a homeschooling mother I love that it includes the vocabulary and background information on some of the art styles. Easily understood by children but doesn't feel dumbed down by adults. For homeschoolers this book could easily replace the more expensive video art lessons. I g... Read more
Review:I have been making papier mache animals and fish for many years. Always the problem of getting the figure thoroughly dry. And if that summer was rainy, I was in trouble. We sold them to raise money for a children's regatta. Jonni Good's Recipe is a breakthrough and so easy. Thank you Jonni. Read more
Review:Approach this book like a college class in drawing, and you will probably learn a lot from it. Review:Betty Edwards has compiled more helpful information & useful exercises than I've found in numerous art/color classes & books of all kinds. Her book is a "must have" for anyone who wants to understand & use color well & to comprehend color interactions. It is wonderful! Read more
Review:Marc Ecko provides an honest and insightful look at personal brand creation. I can wholeheartedly recommend this book to ANYONE who needs clarity in developing their ideas beyond their imagination. I especially enjoyed the anecdotes and asides. Although, at some points, the asides interrupted the narrative flow, the illustrations/photographs enlighten and entertain. Awesome read; sick-ass story and trilliant execution. Read more
Review:LOVED this book. I highly recommend this to anyone who considers themselves a fan of Sara Bareilles. Her writing in this book is as moving as her lyrics. I laughed and I cried and I'm sure you will too. Read more

Review:Having suffered a loss of creativity, I bought this book in the hopes that it would help me get that creative spark back and improve my overall skill. It helped, and in general had some good ideas, but it didn't really help solve the underlying problems. Honestly, I'd buy it used if at all. Read more
