Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland Colouring Book
Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland Colouring Book

Review:For a person that is coming into adult coloring this coloring book is absolutely amazing. I would recommend this company and this coloring book over and over again especially if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland and want to get a darker version. She Believed She Could So She Did
She Believed She Could So She Did

Review:It is a nice journal. The cover is just as it appears here. It is a larger than average size journal. The only thing I didn't like was the pages have a name at the bottom of each page or her website or something. I gave it as a gift so I can't look back at it but I remember being surprised it was on each page. Read more

The Royal Road to Card Magic
The Royal Road to Card Magic

Review:I'm ashamed to admit that this wasn't the first card trick book I ever bought. This book walks you through every amateur sleight of hand any card-magician-to-be could ever hope to learn with a bounty of helpful illustrations, along with very deep text. While some of it is a little difficult to wade through, it is well worth the effort. The tricks, with rare exception, are excellent, and the way in which they are taught is very user-friendly. Instead of teaching seven or eight sleights of h... Read more

Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist
Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist

Review:This book was required reading for me in art college. It is very detailed and accurate, but like most artistic human anatomy books it falls into the category of being too detailed and does not address the human skeleton as a figure in motion or as a series of counterweights.

It is a fantastic anatomy book that I breeze through for extra support every now and then, but I find myself going to "Bridgman's Drawing from Life" more often. Read more

Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art
Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art

Review:How better to discuss comics than through the use of comics? And who better to discuss this art form than artist/writer, Scott McCloud who is the creator of Zot!

It is obvious that Mr. McCloud spent a considerable amount of time thinking about the evolution and the mechanics of comics (check out the statistics in Chapter 3, "Blood in the Gutter"). In his discussion of the development of comics, Mr. McCloud takes us through a timeline beginning with ancient civilizations and ending in the ... Read more
