Review:John Irving loves Charles Dickens and often is compared to Charles Dickens. But Dickens, sloppy as his writing could be, knew how to craft real characters and a real plot. Irving crafts interesting trash, each bag of which resembles the last bag of trash he crafted.

Review:Nora Ephron's collection of essays, "I Feel Bad About My Neck" was published (I think) in 2006 and I just got around to reading it. Such is the length of my reading list. I'm from Nora's generation and she resonates with me. It takes no time to read and is so funny and insightful and droll, I'll go back and re-read some of essays, keep them around for reference. Review:Overall it was worth reading. Even though the book is 16 years since publishing, it still addresses many issues that our USA culture is dealing with today. Review:As an avid fan of Supernatural, I bought this book. It is a nice piece of TV reference material. The idea of this book is wonderful but I really missed a Bibliography and an Index. Too bad it is not that type of reference work. This writer has done a great amount of studying. I had never heard of him so looked him up.
