Review:I had purchased Mr. Timmerman's crossword puzzles (large print), and enjoyed them. This book was enjoyable as well.
The book has (as it states on its cover) 101 large print word finds. Each word find has an overarching category, and the words within that word find fall within that category. (i.e. "Golfing" has words like "birdie," "mulligan," etc.)
The words are forwards and backwards, diagonal, horizontal, and vertical. Answers are located in the back.

Review:I was attracted to this novel because it takes place in the state I live in, Washington. I was immediately pleased because the story was intriging, a retired surgeon finds out he has cancer and decides to set out on a hunting trip in which he plans to commit suicide, and the story of his life in the present and then his flashbacks to his younger days were well detailed, I felt I was really getting to know the character and I enjoyed rich history of Washington orchards brought out as well. Review:After a very painful break-up, I found myself trying to call him, asking his friends for information about him, ect. My friends were sick of hearing about him, and I was going crazy. Then I picked up this book. The advice was very straight forward, and the anecdotes were very funny.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been dumped or did the dumping, and is an emotional wreck. Review:A delightful and unique book that charms you all the way over with the adorable drawings and interesting trivia.

Did you know that owls cannot move their eyes?
Or that the Chinese leather turtle pees through its mouth?
Well, I didn't!

The illustrations are fun, drawn with a light touch, simple but excellently detailed. A great combination of art and biology and would be a great addition in a child's learning period. To anyone's reading curriculum actually!
