Review:This is a great, contemporary coming-out-story of a singer-songwriter and country western celebrity. Chely Wright's biography is beautifully written, deeply moving, and illustrates the pain many gays and lesbians experience when they are not accepted by their professional or personal communities. She challenges many stereotypes that are are culturally held about lesbians and her story is educational to all who read it, gay or straight. Heroic in the the risk and strides she takes to live open... Read more
Review:Craig Duswalt toured with Gun’s and Roses for several years as Axl Rose’s personal manager. He expertly spins the stories of all the famous people, the famous places and all the crazy shenanigans that go on when they were not on stage. And he is still in therapy for some of those adventures! If you want to take a peek behind the curtain and know what it REALLY like to tour with a major Rock Group known around the world, then you need to read this book. It is a fun read. Get it today! Review:Good behind the scenes information/stories of the Beatles, 1st person accounting of the creative process, relationships, quirks, etc. Sometimes a bit self-serving, but otherwise a very entertaining, insightful read. I learned a lot about my favorite band ever! Read more
Review:Common has always been one of those people that you want to keep a watch on. His music, though in the beginning, was a bit controversial has been inspiring and had a message that reached all people.
In "One Day It'll All Make Sense", Common offers up himself and his mother provides a great backdrop to his story. I love the relationship between the both and how conscious Common is when expressing the loss of loved ones and the love that he has had for the women in his life. This book offer... Read more
Review:Book was recommended to me by a client dealing with an aggressive form of cancer, who has had some of the same experiences as the patients in this book. It's a pleasant read, filled with real comfort and hope for those experiencing any doubts concerning the reality of heaven and Jesus Christ. I think it's worth reading. Read more

Review:I love this book. I love everything about it from the way the cover feels to how the pages smell. I think it perfectly captures the universe these two have made together. All of the amazing anecdotes and jokes aside, my favorite part of this entire literary journey was the photos of Dan and Phil's stuff next to each other. Like their shoes or their shirts. They're like a perfectly balanced pair. And the juxtaposition of Dan's black to Phil's colors was so visually pleasing! Well done, gentlemen... Read more
Review:I enjoyed the details surrounding JFK's assassination ! Although I'm not a history buff, this read peaked my interest in the chronological events prior to and post assassination .
I was unaware of the programs and the roles that he played in several things that exist today .

Review:Different from other Holocaust books I have read, all written by males. This one, is created by a female writer. A young girl survived from catastrophies, from the evil hand of nazi germany. She almost single handed saved her mother (changed her opinions toward her from then on), and reunited with her brother right before the liberation. Thought provoking stories with vivid details and shocking truth. Beautiful book. Read more
Review:Surviving Hitler is written for people between the ages of 10- adults. The story is written about a real person's heroic journey during the time of the Holocaust. The author does a great job of capturing the reader with real black and white photographs accompanied by graphic details of the experiences of Janek Mandelbaum. Through these photos and texts she allows the reader to feel a sense of compassion and connection with our hero and gives the reader a much deeper understanding of the event... Read more
