First 100 Trucks: And Things That Go

My transportation obsessed toddler is obsessed with this book. We look at it multiple times a day, and multiple times a day I hear, "Uts dis?" This is perfect book for little eyes that like things that go!

Purchased this for new baby for future use. Didn't realize it was a tiny book, thought it was similar to other "first words" books in the same series. Still does the trick and I'm sure will be a hit in the future.

This is not a book of 100 truck pictures. Contains pictures of trucks but also hot air balloons, a kayak, cruise ship, airplanes....Nice pictures, but definitely not trucks. Confusing title, confusing marketing. Also some of the trucks occur more than once in different sections. Lame. Bought for child who adores truck pictures. Bummed.

Great for learning the names of all types of trucks and their jobs. Children will learn many new words if parents sit and discuss the trucks with their child. Make it a learning experience and expand with language.

I have a truck, train and car obsessed little boy that loves this book. He turned 2 in October. It's a great way to build vocabulary. He yelled out in the car the other day "Look mama! Here comes a tanker! I see an excavator! I saw a car transporter!"
