Such a wonderful, truthful journey told with such grace and humility. Stuart's life in sports and battling cancer is a shining example of faith, family, and friends. In the end, all that matters is the moments spent living.

Stuart Scott was well known for his career at ESPN, and his battle with cancer, but this book allows the reader a personal experience into what Stuart and many other cancer survivors endure. The book is filled with insights and backstory about Stuart and his relationships with MJ, and Tiger, his ex-wife and most importantly his children, it is truly a must read.

A very moving, touching and inspiring story about a wonderful man and father who battled cancer courageously for seven years while still maintaining the grueling travel schedule of his high profile public job at ESPN. Stuart Scott helped revolutionized, and was a leading pioneer in incorporating urban language and pop culture phrases into high light reels and sports recaps, in a style that is widely practiced today. He blazed the trail for other sportscasters to follow, and will always be "cooler than the other side of the pillow". But his fight against cancer, his love for his daughters, and the way that he lived his life is what makes the book so warm, genuine and beautiful. Read it, you will turn the final page feeling encouraged like never before. Cancer touches everyone, in some way. God bless Stuart, and everyone else fighting this terrible disease.

If you ever watched Sports Center you will know who Stuart Scott is...If you loved Sports you loved his delivery of action. Play by play he could take you past the act into the excitement, he was awesome in delivering the facts of whatever you were watching, the supporting message to not how it occurred but the why and WOW ! May God Bless his Daughters as they live life as he would have wanted...

Stuart Scott was my favorite ESPN anchor. I also have been diagnosed with cancer (in 2008) and I can somewhat relate to what he was feeling when he heard that terrible news. His words are great perspective for anyone who either has fought cancer or if they have lost someone to that awful disease. Well worth your time to read his book.

I personally knew Stu and his siblings in college. This book is heart wrenching, yet funny and pure Stu! Having watched a dear friend die of pancreatic cancer recently, he so accurately captured the contradiction that is the cancer fight- from fighting this awful disease to accepting the invitable while still fighting! Any parent can relate to the love he felt for his daughters and why he fought every day. I highly recommend!

You really get an insight into who Syuart Scott really was. Not the personality on TV, but the person behind the personality.. For a Divorced Father with a daughter, it really hit home about what is REALLY IMPORTANT!!!

I appear to be missing pages 211 through 242. Jumps from page 210 to 275 through 290 to first set of epilogue , acknowledgements, permissions, photo creds, about the authors and jumps to page 243 through 290 and another set of epilogue , acknowledgements, permissions, photo creds, about the authors. I received book today...and now have to wait to receive pages 211-242? So far great book I would have loved to have been able to finish tonight.
