I really loved this series about a young woman who is kidnapped and held by a madman. The 3 books of the series were all so exciting that it was hard to put them down. So very well written. I would have given them 5 stars except for the following: 1) The author claims that she had an editor reviewing the book, but there were so many grammar errors and typos that it was distracting. I hope that Ms Claflin achieves enough success that she can hire a professional editor (or even grammar checking software would help). 2) Why was this 3 books and not 1? I know the answer, but...
Again - great plot, believable characters, fast-paced Thriller! Well done.

I enjoyed the series but was disappointed in the way the family handled family issues. 13 year old son get 15 year old girl pregnant and we will support what you want. Kids had too much freedom to do what they wanted. Father had an affair and never told his wife about it. On the last book, left you hanging on why the women (affair) was leaving in a hurry and what happened with her husband. Couldn't figure out why the Mother wanted to have a funeral and move on so soon after her daughter was taken.

I have read this whole series, this one being the final book. All of the books were excellent, but the suspense and surprises
in this finale were especially good. I really feel the series would make an excellent assignment for teenage reading. The events in this series could easily happen and provide some warnings and alerts to the readers. My daughter is currently reading the series and is having a hard time putting the book down. Really holds your interest.

I picked up the first book, Gone, not expecting to become so engrossed as quickly as I did. When it ended, I immediately bought the second book, Held, and then Over. This series really grabbed my interest and held it for all three books. I'm usually a Stephen King type of girl, but I couldn't put these books down! When you decide to read them, make sure you have some free time as you won't want to put them down ?

I loved this series from the very beginning. It is such a good mystery, I actually couldn't put it down. This series is best read in order as the characters all inter mingle. The best part of this is the main character Macy.

A great conclusion to this thriller trilogy. Macy has been through so much. What more can one girl trying to save herself do? How about trying to save them all? Great read, couldn't put any of the books down after starting the first chapter in the first book.

Kidnap victims who survive and can return home have so much recovery to do. The PTSD must be so strong and debilitating for a long time. This young Macy was a fighter and that helped her remain sane through the beatings and torture. Glad she's home.

I love this trilogy. There are some things that irritate me. First off, there is a lot of grammatical errors. The first book was free, so I didn't mind it that much. But with the second and third books having to be bought, so the books should have been edited better. Second, in the third book the auther focused too much on Macy's family and not enough on Macy. Lastly, I felt like once Macy was home the auther sped threw her return and then skipped ahead a year. I felt like there needed to be more to the end of the book. But with all that said in would recommend this trilogy to other people.

This is the third book in the trilogy. Just like Gone and Held, I could not stop reading. I wanted to know what happen to Heather, Luke, Alex, Zoey , and most importantly Macy. Stacy Claflin did a great job of telling the story and tying up the loose ends.

As a reader, I was very curious at the story of Heather, the real Heather. I wanted to know where she was, how she was being treated, and if she would ever be with her dad again. When it was revealed where she was and what was happening, I was scared for her. Would Chester be able to get custody again? Would she ever be able to live her life again? Then there is Macy, the main character of the story. I needed her to get home safe or at least end up somewhere that she would be not be abused as she had been. I got all the answers I wanted and more. It amazes me how strong the teenage characters in this trilogy are. The things these girls go through are absolutely life shattering, yet they manage to hang on to reality and come out on top.

There is so much more I want to say and share, but by doing so it would give away too much of the story. All I can tell you is that you HAVE to get this book. This entire series is one that will hold your attention while reading it and leave you thinking about it when you are done.

Holy cow! Stacy Claflin has done it again with the final story about Macy Mercer – Over. I can’t say how much this story moved me. From the moment Macy slipped out of her parents house on that chilly November night to several months later at the mental hospital, I was perched on the edge of my seat. I held my breath. I cried. I yelled and screamed. However, I still came back for more. I just couldn’t get enough of the story about the Mercers.
This tale is a fantastic story without anything supernatural. Sorry folks, no paranormal here. This story just has normal teenagers, marriages (both good and troubled), affairs, creeps, murder, kidnappings, crazy people, not so crazy people, cults, mothers and fathers, brothers, and best friends. A real page turned from the first novel Gone to Held through the end of Over. What an absolute treat from Claflin.

NOTE: The opinions in the above review are mine and mine alone. I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. I received no other compensation.

I was very disappointed that the book did not end. I don't read series and think a book should stand alone. I could barely get through this book anyway. The only reason I kept at it was to see if Macy was rescued. Also I thought that if i heard one more stomach grumble or rumble with hunger I would throw the book across the room. STOMACHS DO NOT DO THAT! At this point I really don't care if Macy is saved. Nothing can save this sophomoric writing. If I could give no stars, I would.

I just finished reading Over the third book in the trilogy. I think this was my favorite of all the books. I can't believe a family could go through all that this family went through and come out stronger. I am anxious to read Rusty's story. If there is a story for Lucky I hope it includes Macy. At first I thought this was more of a Young Adult book but I have concluded it is an all around read. I would recommend all three books in this series.

Well, it’s finally “OVER”.
Macy and Heather are both free! Can they get their lives back? What happens to Chester? Where does Heather go from here? Do Macy and Luke have a relationship now that she is home with her family? And then there is the rest of her family. How do they adjust with all of the new changes?
Well, here’s my answer, read this book! Yup, not the answer you were looking for, I know. This series is one everyone needs to read. Tweens, teens and parents. Life lessons to be read.

A great conclusion to the trilogy. Great characters. The only negative was that it couldn't be read as a standalone. I wish the store would do a better job of the labeling of these series books. I have gotten better recognising them but it could/should be marketed as such.

If you've started this trilogy, you MUST read this book! The first two leave you wanting to know more, and this book delivers. I very much enjoyed this author's writing and could barely put these books down until I could finish them! Just a perfect balance of suspense, mystery, drama and love across multiple generations and families, and how much one girl's disappearance affects all of those around her.

What a way to be over! So intriguing, so captivating, so suspenseful, so emotional. Stacy Claflin makes you so invested in the characters it's hard to turn the pages fast enough. A very satisfying read.

I really enjoyed this series. Macy's storyon edge the whole time. The only think that I didn't like was the time gap in some of this book. Without giving anything away, there were instances where some time goes by without exploration on how things happened. Besides that, I would recommend this to friends.

Amazing ending to a great trilogy. I was so excited to know what had happened after the whole ordeal and I was not let down whatsoever. It was such a satisfying ending with all my questions answered. Can't wait to read Deans List!
