Cameron Knight is the lead guitarist for Caged. Cameron is a love em and leave em kinda guy. He's all about the music. Until he meets Lily.
Lily Tennison, sweet, kind, artist. She's working like normal when she meets Cameron.
The sparks between these two is obvious from the very beginning.
I really enjoyed how this was a rock star book, but not super heavy on the seedier side of the rockstar lifestyle. All of the member of Caged are nice guys, and funny to boot. Just the right amount of drama and humor had me really enjoying this book.
Can Cameron learn to love just one woman? Can Lily learn to put her trust in someone else's hands?
I can't wait to read more about the guys from Caged!!!
Book Hangover Level: ❤️❤️❤️

Cameron Knight is a musician from an up-and-coming band with most of its members embellishing the punk rock n' roller persona.
I became slightly piqued by Cameron's courtship of Lily, the event coordinator at one of the hotels that they stay. The fact that Cameron is part of a popular band means that he can nail any girl he wants--any girl, anywhere, anytime. So why is he after sweet Lily, the quiet and hardworking artist, who just doesn't seem like his type? Maybe because she was more of a conquest. Game on, right?
Propelled by witty and somewhat boorish remarks, story generates a competition of gratuitous bravado. But then what starts off as a game--as a one-night stand full of hot passion--quickly becomes a complicated mess in the throes of a band's fame and superficiality. Can romance survive the tight booking schedules, the endless tour dates, and the flashing lights of paparazzi?
For me, the life of a rock star is not as glamorous with the wild partying, the booze, and the loose women. In fact, I'd find it a little boring. Additionally, the "relationship" between Cameron and Lily was not that genuine or believable. How can you deem someone "special" within 2 seconds of meeting them? And for a rock star to put his fame on the back burner just to fit into her world? C'mon! Maybe if we had gotten Lily's perspective we might've figured out the reasoning behind this whole hook-up. But the fact that it was strictly told from Cameron's point of view indicates that this was an unbridled infatuation--it was just sex. It was kind of hard to take it serious.
With a few exciting moments here and there, this was an average, mildly trivial romance with a fleeting pace.

This is the story of Cameron and Lily. Cameron is in a popular band and used to getting what he wants. Lily is a young woman estranged from her rich family, working her way through college. Their lives are very different. Jayne Frost does a wonderful job telling this story and bringing it all together for a happy ending. I loved this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Cameron is the guitarist of a very well known band. They want to avoid the media attention for a while so they stay in a luxurious hotel far from the spotlight.
And there, he meets Lily.
He is only staying for a couple of days. But the feelings between them are stronger than they thought.
Cameron is scared. He doesn't want complications in his life. He thinks it is not worth it. But you can't fight love that easily.
I really enjoyed this book. I liked that it's told from a male point of view. And I am looking forward to reading the stories about the rest members of the band.

I loved Gone For You. Each character, even the secondaries had flaws and issues to overcome, and distinctive voices. Cameron and Lily are a fun couple. I liked the development of their relationship and dialogue. Have already read the second in this series, Fall With Me, and was especially drawn into it. I can relate to Jayne Frost's characters and love her writing style. Can't wait for the next in the series!

I really enjoyed this book because it was written from the perspective of the male character and not the female. This made the story refreshing. Some rock star novels tend to have characters I really dislike and sometimes can't finish reading because it's not written very well. I liked these characters even when you were supposed to dislike someone. I look forward to reading more books by Jayne Frost.

Like most books in the Rockstar romance genre, this story touches on the fast, easy life style of rockstars. It does not, however, include any cheating.
Cameron is guitarist from a rock band. Lily is a good girl. It would seem that the two should never mix. And Cameron does his best to keep things light, not serious. But then he starts......feeling things. Having thoughts.
Lily is a strong woman. She has dealt with issues that would break a lesser woman. They have knocked her down, but not out. She has come out stronger for them.
This book is HOT! Cam and Lily together are amazing! The instant connection between the two set the pages on fire. But its the way Cam is with Lily that make me want to swoon! I can't wait to read about the rest of the band.

What do I say, I received an advanced reader copy for free for an honest review of book 3, Missing From Me, I loved it sooo much I had to buy book 1, Gone For You. WOW can I just say this series is BRILLIANT! The characters are amazing, I was up all night reading and it was well worth it, now I'm getting ready to buy book 2, Fall With Me. I love this band/group, I feel like I know them they are so real with everyday problems and issues and fierce when they fall in love. It's a fantastic, must read series that I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!

This is a fantastic introduction to a new series from this talented author, and is Lily and Cameron’s story. Lily is a feisty character who works as an artist, and is estranged from her family. Cameron is the typical playboy character from a famous band. This is a well written fun quick read, which is thoroughly entertaining and humorous. I was totally captivated throughout, and cannot wait to read the next book in this great series.

"Gone for You," the first book in the Sixth Street Band Series by Jayne Frost, was amazing and I absolutely loved it! I liked that it wasn't too long or too short, but just right. I read it in under two days and enjoyed every minute of it. Cameron Knight and Lily Tennison were wonderful main characters, and I loved their personalities and chemistry together. They clicked right from the start, and though their relationship progressed quickly, I thought they made a great couple. They had many things in common and complemented each other well. To be honest, they were meant for each other. I also liked that the book was told from Cameron's POV. You don't often see a book solely from the male character's POV, but I thought it was unique and made the book even better. I thought Jayne Frost did a phenomenal job with the authenticity of the music aspect of the novel, or at least what I would imagine a rock star band would ultimately deal with in day-to-day life. I loved that "Gone for You" had lots of romance, humor, and drama. It definitely didn't lack in the romance department, and there were many instances where it was both intense and sweet at the same time. I also loved that it was a stand-alone novel within a series. I'm not a huge fan of cliffhangers, so it was refreshing to read a novel that concluded the characters' story in one book. I loved the other three members of the band Caged and I am excited to find out who gets their own story in the next installment of the Sixth Street Band Series!
