I actually haven't gotten into the recipes very much, which is the reason I ordered it. I am having some alignment problems currently and don't spend a lot of time standing to prepare my food. I have looked through them and there seem to be some interesting ones to try. Hopefully I'll get to it.

Was intrigued by some of the research -- learned a lot about the connection between grains and the interactions with Candidasis. Will continue with research on the effect of grains on long-term brain activity.

As someone who is an amateur creative cook, this book did not offer any inspiration for me. I read The Grain Brain book and thought this would be a good companion to follow up with, but I was mistaken. The book lacks images for the promoted recipes. A cook book with no images is not inspirational in itself. For me the recipes were either boring, nothing new, or too specialized in the ingredients department. I would recommend reading the Grain Book, and exploring Dr. Perlmutter's website to learn what to eliminate from your diet, and create your own recipes.

Excellent guidance to a healthier diet and healthier life. I'm starting to see the positive effects of a gluten free, high fat, low carb diet. Dr. Perlmutter provides good scientific based explanations and provides good references to support his material.
