Entertaining and humorous. The characters were well described and believable. The Author really did his homework and taught me a lot about the difference between gravity and magnetism. The book ended to soon and "I'm hungry for more".

I liked the concept, and I am all for serendipitous discovery of magical tech combined with YA coming-of-age sci-fi themes, but I didn't feel the 214 pages were worth more than two stars for $4.99 when I reached the conclusion. I agree with other reviewers that the protagonist is too clueless to be believable when everyone starts dying immediately after he discovers this new technology. If it was Kindle Unlimited I'd give it 3 stars. Mitty needs to up his game to keep this story going in a sequel.

Great job on a first novel. Entertaining, interesting and a lot of fun. A bit loose with flow of the information, but nothing a good editor couldn't smooth out. The author writes good dialogue (not an easy thing, esp. for a new author), and knows how to spin a tale. I enjoyed this book very much, and will look forward to more from "Mr. Walters".

Really enjoyed this story. Lots of science. Can't say I always understood it but didn't really need to. Couldn't but it down. Loved the surprise at the end. Lots of great characters. Can't wait to read what the author will create next.

I love books about science and science fiction. Breaking Gravity gave the reader an interesting scenario of what would occur with such a revolutionary discovery. The characters were developed well. The author kept the story light enough so it would not take itself too seriously. This was a fun read and I look forward to his next book.

The story starts out strong. It is very interesting, in the beginning. But it soon descends into car wrecks, shootouts, and the story of two college kids on the run which does not seem realistic at all, or resonate with me in any way. It started out as cool sci fi story, and quickly became generic action story. The characters are not interesting enough to even care what happens to them. I wanted to like it, but just can't bring myself to enjoy this action thriller that isn't very thrilling. Finally I realized that I wasn't enjoying it and it was time to stop. Not recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed your first book! It has everything I love in techno action fiction; plausible science breakthrough, lots of action, and a great ending.
Thanks so much and may all of your future books be as entertaining (somewhat selfish on my part);

I like stories that try to write a science fiction novel with emphasis on science.
the challenge is that the story has to focus on some technical issues which are "hypothetical"
When bending gravity there are some issues which are difficult to evaluate, like tidal effects. Just remember that the attraction of the moon is small, but tidal effects are significant here on earth. An anti-gravity device at my feet would probably rip me apart.
But I respect this endeavour, and the plot and characters are quite well developed.
For readers who look for more "hard-core" SCIENCE fiction - may I point them to Robert L Forward's The dragons egg

Plenty of action, death and carnage to fill out an interesting scientific trip to the future. The motivation for murder and mayhem is presented in a believable way. The "hero" is more than a little dense, but pay little attention to this character flaw.

Accidently discover Antigravity and suddenly the government and a secret society is after you. You outsmart them all. Doesn't get much better than that. The author tells the story in an exciting way. Get this book.

Great yarn, paced fast. Other reviewers weren't kidding to say they couldn't put it down. This new writer is good and is asking for feedback to get better - I look forward to reading his books 2-10. The technology is the main suspension-of-disbelief point, and it is *supposed* to be practically unbelievable even in-story.

Has everything a good sci-fi needs: tech, action, suspense, and humor.
This book was very fun and entertaining.
Enough plot twists to add just the right amount of suspense.
I look forward to reading more from this author, and I hope he does well.

Dale Adams is a graduating business major from Emory University who serendipitously managed to combine the guts of an electronic multi-meter with a Coke can in such a way as to defy gravity. Dale discovers the same effect can be achieved by attaching aluminum strips to anything. Needing a presentation for a course in obtaining start-up capital, Dale makes a presentation featuring a floating skateboard to a select panel of investors- and suddenly all hell breaks loose! Pursued by three different blood-thirsty groups with different interests leaving a dead panel of investors, Dale runs for his life never knowing who to trust. Will he survive? Will he outsmart his pursuers? I suggest you buy the book to find out.
Breaking Gravity contains characters that are appropriately developed if a bit cliché. That familiarity with the character types makes them immediately identifiable and the reader is likely to find himself grinning and nodding at the type even before he learns any real details about the characters. The story is fast paced and action packed; entertaining for anyone who loves zany action books with a message behind them.
I enjoyed it for a light read and would recommend it for anyone who loves mysteries, and action adventures whether or not you are a lover of science fiction or fantasy.
