Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship

Just like dating, courtship can be bent to human desire. However, with God, we are shown through Joshua that waiting is right. Not because it is wrong to want to meet someone, it is wrong to rush into relationships. The point is to put more trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He will show us a father that has always loved us. And I just read a few pages. :-)

Only into the 2nd chapter but am loving this book! Great ideas written and it is certainly getting me thinking about how my next relationship (and hopefully last) will be completely different to my first. Can't wait to finish reading the book. :)

Yet another great book written by Joshua Harris. I suggest this book for adults of all ages. This book is for people who really want to consider marriage, and it has very good replacements for now days dating habits.

I loved this book. Its information was upfront and unapologetic. Wonderful. Simply wonderful. It has changed my life. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to look at courtship and dating from a Christian prospective.

This is a terrific book about Christian courtship. My 13 year old teenage daughter is reading it now after reading I KISSED DATING GOODBYE. We have had some great discussions from these two books by Harris.

the book is such a good book.. it addressed issues i was dealing with as though the book was written for me. second time of reading it, and though i am not in a relationship i learnt soo well from it. the book was in perfect mint condition. with super fast delivery.

Opened a new vision of relationship to me and will most definitely apply this knowledge. I do believe that there aren't enough "courters" out there to be able to REALLY journey together on this matter.

This book is very well written. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have an idea on how be in a Godly relationship. The author goes into how a man should be a Godly man in his relationship and also how the woman should be a Godly woman, and how to wait on God's timing and not rush.

I've read different books on relationships and this book brings a different look at courting. I like how the author talks about his own past of what he did and what others have done with their courting experience. I also enjoy him sharing the importance of how everything is on God's timing. I really recommend this book.

Definately a book for those who desire to give it their all for God, for those who truly desire to give him GLORY in every area of their life. he is worthy of our surrender, his way is best. This book will remind you that it is possible to live for him in this crooked generation, whether you have messed up in the past or if you want to continue in purity! biblical view on courtship, a courship that will not get in the way of your relationship with God, but one that will honor him. He is surely the one who will bless, fufill our desire IF, IF IF we delight ourselves in him. God bless you all!!

Wonderful book that perfectly comes after "I kissed dating goodbye." Goes deeper into the subject of courtship and love. You also get to learn about Joshua Harris courtship! Couldnt put this book down!

Harris addresses issues of the heart directly, without wiggling around them. He doesn't uphold changes of behavior for the sake of looking or being "good" but goes for the heart, where lust, idols, and wrong beliefs can fester. So thankful for this book. I would recommend it to everyone, and have bought three copies for friends.

Excellent!!!!!!!! Society needs to take a look at this! The days of old where these practices were more the norm, were only replaced recently in the mid 20th century. Too bad that centuries of proper ways to behave, what to see in a person, etc., have been forgotten & replaced with things that can be, or are physically, emotionally & mentally harmful.

Have your child read, or read it with them.

This book is exactly what our society needs. We have lost the meaning and purpose of dating/courting and in this book, Josh harris draws us back to what it's all about; caring for one another. This book shows that dating is not about what we can get from a relationship, it's about what we can give to the other person as well as walking together towards a common goal.

I do not recommend courtship. In prior generations, people had a better understanding of what courtship is. But even in my world of conservative Christian values, witnessing and participating in the courtship of two young adults, we found ourselves constantly at a loss as to how to treat the young couple. The risk of misunderstanding, miscommunication, failed expectations is just too great, and involving whole families in a relationship designed for ultimately only two people just multiples the opportunities for making mistakes.
