The book is written from the first person point of view of two people. The story is great, but there are moments when you think that the story is just playing off other romance novels that you may have read, but overall a really enjoyable read.

Another of Kristen Proby's amazing stories. I have read every one of your books and just love them. I love the characters and the way you always have sexy, funny and heartfelt words. Ty's kindness was awesome and the love and support he shows Lauren was great. Great read will tell all my friends have to read.

Kristen Proby creates magic. She puts her fingers to her keyboard and sparks fly, readers swoon.
Seducing Lauren is book two in the Love Under the Big Sky series. Lauren Cunningham just got out of a nasty divorce. Her ex unfortunately is still not done with her. When he threatens more than just coming after her trust fund, Ty Sullivan finally steps into Lauren’s life and makes his feelings known. Ty has had a thing for Lauren for a while now, but thought it inappropriate to make a move before now. Lauren, having been badly burned by love and friendships, distrusts what Ty’s actual motives are. Ty doesn’t waver though. He slowly makes his way into her heart by showing her exactly how a real man that cares for her acts.
“Lauren, the only thing I want from you is you.”
Ty completely surprised me with his sensitive side. When he cares for a woman, he shows it. He is passionate, loving and protective. Once he set his mind on pursuing Lauren, he gave it his all. One of my absolute favorite things about him…Lauren has a tendency to let time escape her when she’s working, which means meals are forgotten and skipped, Ty, however, whether he’s there or not, makes sure she’s taken care of.
“…Mr. Sullivan called it in and asked us to deliver it to you. He said to send you whatever your favorite is.”
Seriously, what man does that?!
“I’m not letting you out of my sight, sweetness. You’re stuck with me.”
Lauren is a fun, feisty woman. She has no problems standing toe to toe with you and telling it like it is. Her career choice was fun to see. I detect a little bit of Ms. Proby went into her character; I’m not giving any spoilers up on that one. Being with Ty has helped get her out of her shell. We see a playful and loving side to her.
Lauren’s trust issues aren’t the only angst in this book however. This book went a little bit darker towards the end and I absolutely loved it! It was unexpected, had my heart pounding and left me an emotional mess. The turn this story took takes us outside of what we’re use to in a Kristen Proby romance novel. I think she did a phenomenal job. I for one am looking forward to seeing what other surprises she has in store for us in the future.

I read this book in preparation for the newest book coming in the series. Totally love Kristen’s writing of family sagas with strong characters, HOT alpha males, witty and strong women. Lauren Cunningham is recently divorced and still dealing with her awful ex-husband, Jack. Tyler Sullivan, town lawyer and resident good bad boy. Ty has had feelings for Lauren for awhile now and has finally found the courage to let her know how he feels. In true family saga Proby style, Tyler is the perfectly HOT, swoon-worthy, tattooed bad boy with a heart of gold. He will go to almost any length to protect the woman of his dreams. Love all books by Kristen Proby. You can’t go wrong when looking for great storylines with strong characters.

The second book in Kristen Proby’s Love Under the Big Sky series gives us Tyler Sullivan and Lauren Cunningham’s story. Both of them were featured in book one Loving Cara but we are given ‘access all areas’ into their lives and their budding relationship, in this instalment in the series.
I have been a big fan of Kristen’s writing for quite a while now, her With Me Series, is one of only a few books that I actually buy in hard-copy to keep on my book shelves at home. After reading Loving Cara, this Series also followed quickly suit, and are an automatic pre-order! Her writing and characters offer you everyday easy-going romance, but what makes them so enjoyable is that they are so well written that the predictability and common-place tropes are just so easy to fully immerse yourself in.
I know without a doubt that I want him. I trust him. I need him in my bed.
Ty and Lauren have a few secrets that they are hiding from the outside world, while Lauren has been dealing with a less than sane ex-husband and divorce, Ty has kept his distance. Now some time has passed, as far as he is concerned all bets are off, and it is time to let her know how he really feels.
”Keep that up Lauren, and I won’t be responsible for f****** you right here on the ballroom floor.”
The feelings are mutual, unfortunately the ‘ex’ problem isn’t as ‘in the past’ as either of them hoped it was. Ty steps up and offers Lauren the support and trust that she craves from a relationship, having lost her parents, he along with his close-knit circle of friends also offer something else that she has lost, and that is a family.
The thought of ever being without him fills me with so much grief it’s debilitating.
I loved this couple, I loved the continuation of the series as a whole, and the simmering tension between Jill (Ty’s sister) and Zack in the background of this story, promises to deliver some interesting results in book three in the Series Falling for Jillian due for release in February 2015.
”You inspire me to dream with my eyes wide-open.”

Kristen Proby, you made me cry! That gives this book a 5 star rating from me – and a place on my auto-buy list!
SEDUCING LAUREN is the second book in the Love Under the Big Sky trilogy, preceded by Loving Cara. The characters from the first book make appearances in this book, but I think you could read it as a standalone. It is fun to reconnect with old friends - especially if you know their back story. I enjoyed this book much more than the previous one, though. I have to be honest – this book would be worth buying if you just stare at the cover! Oh my goodness! Tyler Sullivan is HOT...a tattooed bad boy lawyer that cooks AND brings flowers? Swoon! He is the sweetest book boyfriend I’ve found to date! Lauren Cunningham is one lucky girl!
Lauren is my favorite brand of heroine…strong, accomplished and sassy. She has had a rough time in recent years, and Tyler enters her life just when she needs his kind of support. She is living in her hometown of Cunningham Falls, Montana, in the house she inherited from her parents. She is in the process of a nasty divorce, and has recently separated from her group of toxic friends. She is pretty much alone in the world when Ty enters her life. After what she’s been through, she’s more than a little hesitant to get involved in another relationship. From her experience, men can’t be trusted. After all, her first husband Jack was sweet, kind and wonderful in the beginning and look how that turned out! Ty definitely has his work cut out for him.
I enjoyed the development of Ty and Lo’s relationship. It was slow. They took the time to get to know each other. Of course there was chemistry in the beginning, but there was no “insta-love” with these two. They learned to like each other first. They are super sexy and fun! There are some utterly scrumptious sex scenes. It was fun to catch up with Josh, Cara, Zack, Seth and Jillian. I was glad to see Lauren develop new friendships. She needed these people in her life.
I started reading this book in the car as we were driving on a mini vacation to the gulf coast. I missed most of the scenery. I could not put this book down. I didn’t want it to end. I am very much looking forward to FALLING for JILLIAN, the third book in this captivating series. I highly recommend SEDUCING LAUREN by Kristen Proby. I dare you not to fall in love with Ty and Lauren.
I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review. All conclusions are my own.

A solid second installment by Kristen Proby in the "Love Under The Big Sky" series. Each of these books are standalones, although the cast of characters are becoming familiar and we get to check up on Josh and Cara, who found each other in book one.
Lauren is in the process of finalizing her divorce from her sleezeball of a husband who is only interested in her money. Some she has come by through a trust she never knew about. Money that has nothing to do with him, just like he has nothing to do with her new found passion - But she isn't stupid, she realizes he will want a chunk of that too, which is why she keeps that a big secret. Once friend, and now lover Ty is determined to stand by her side and jump in the fray for her. Not something she is familiar with, but something she sure could get used to.
Ty has been waiting patiently on the sidelines, watching Lauren wash off that creep of a husband. Not wanting to move in too fast, he has stuck to their friendship. But when he finds out her ex is making her life difficult, there is no reining in his protective instincts. He comes by those from years of experience. He makes it very clear straight off the bat, where he stands with Lauren, and although reluctant at first, Lauren seems to want to take a chance on him. He has a long road to go, however, earning her trust.
The story is a familiar friends to lovers trope, but is not approached in the same way. The switch is made fairly early in the story and the bulk of the book really revolves around shaking off the past in order to build a new future on a clear slate. I liked that.
The book also had some suspense elements that added to the overall interest level and of course Kristen wouldn't be Kristen if there wasn't a good deal of bedroom heat involved. But it had sweet overtones between these two.... very caring, and any aggression in their sexual interaction was heavily balanced with soft nurturing.
A delicious, rather mellow read of a quality you would expect from Kristen Proby.
✨A tight, edgy and sensuous story!✨

I was totally in lust with Ty during Loving Cara. I couldn't wait to get to his book because I just knew he had a lot to offer. He was amazing with Cara and Jillian in the first book and I couldn't wait to see how he was with Lauren, someone who I felt definitely needed to be swept off of her feet and away from the group she was hanging out with. Once again, Kristen Proby did not disappoint me. Ty was everything I had hoped for and more. He is an amazingly swoonworthy book boyfriend. The way he cares for and treats Lauren is something that all men need to take note of and I'm not just talking about the way he is with her in the bedroom (or the pool or the kitchen or the shower), which is pretty freaking amazing as well.
I love the depth to which Kristen tells a story. I always feel so immersed into their world. I feel like I could be one of their friends, hanging out and just talking. I loved that there was a deep meaning to each of Ty's tattoos and to each of Lauren's. These two have had a lot of ups and downs in their lives and of course there were still a lot to go through in this book, but I absolutely loved every minute of their journey.
I really enjoyed the nod to the With Me in Seattle series that Kristen threw into this book. Hopefully, anyone who is reading this series and hasn't read her With Me series will give it a shot. Kristen is at the top of my must read list and I cannot wait for each and every one of her books to come out. And to think it all started with a Kindle freebie. I look forward to more from Kristen, especially Zach and Jillian's story. I've loved Jillian since the first book and I really, really want to know what the heck is going on between her and Zach. Is it January yet?

So first things first, the cover of this book almost threw me off of getting this book, but I am so glad that I read it (lesson learned mom, never judge a book by its cover). I adore this book, there were just elements in them that totally worked for me. The heroine Lauren has some secrets, which adds kind of a mystery element to her life when she interacts with other people. Plus she also has a psycho ex, and I tend to love books with psycho exes where the woman fights back, I love a woman who stands her ground and doesn’t give into a bully, and that is totally Lauren.
So like I said earlier I like that Lauren is a strong girl, that she is standing up to here ex. When the story starts she is in some legal trouble with her ex-husband. Her ex-husband feels like he is entitled to pretty much anything he wants including things that only belong to Lauren. So she has to mount a legal defense. The whole book is kind of like this, her ex is constantly pushing, sometimes showing up, making her life uncomfortable, scaring her, and Lauren standing her ground and not giving in. I liked that she found work that makes her happy, and that it has really kind of move on from the jerk that was her ex.
Ty is a friend of her’s who is a lawyer, and at first when she goes to him for help he tells her he can’t because he wants more from her then a lawyer client relationship, he likes he. But as the story goes on and Lauren and Ty start to become something more to each other, he is there every step of the way. I think a lot of guys would be turned off by starting a relationship with someone who has a psycho ex, but not Ty, he’s there for her, he cares about her, and he takes care of her (like when she gets to wrapped up in work to remember to eat, he cooks, things like that, he’s just sweet). Ty is definitely my kind of guy.
There is some nerve wracking elements in this book, some suspense, but ultimately its a really nice love story between two people, that is just really enjoyable to read. I went through this book really quickly, I don’t think I put it down once. I really enjoyed it and I would easily recommend it.

Lauren comes from the founding family of the small town she lives in. Tying up the loose ends of her divorce places her right in Ty’s path. When her ex, Jack demands more money from her and threatens her she attempts to get Ty to take the case from his partner who she felt lacked the aggression needed. But Ty won’t take her case for his own personal reasons. Ty has developed a little crush on Lauren, but the timing hasn’t been right until now. Divorced and finally showing a bit of spark, Ty is a force to be reckoned with as he moves in on Lauren.
As Ty breaks through to Lauren, showing her that you can give your trust to a man without him destroying. You just have to make sure you give it to the right man. Lauren opens up to not only Ty, but to Josh, Zach, Jillian and Cara; as her circle of friends expands. But Jack isn’t willing to just let go of his ex-wife and the access he wants to her money. Lauren has kept certain parts of her life hidden to ensure that they remained hers, especially after learning that her ex was only interested in her for the chance to lay claim to her trust fund. As Ty & Lauren fall deeper, Jack’s greed increases leaving Lauren vulnerable a man that has the ability to destroy it all.
When I read the first chapter of this story at the end of Loving Cara I was excited to get Ty’s story and to see where Lauren’s character was going to go... that excitement sort of flickered out as I read this book though. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the writing or characters but there was just something about the story that felt too predictable and even given the circumstances of where this story was heading; the drama was non-existent.
Ty & Lauren fell easily into a routine where love was bound to be the outcome. There was little in the way of angst when it came to these two and their feelings; which I appreciated – their love story wasn’t really what I just felt disconnected to. The drama for me just never built to bring me to the moment in the book where it counted. The plot seemed to be buried too deeply within the development of the romance that it was an ‘out of sight out of mind’ kind of issue. I wanted to feel gutted by the last 10% of this story, but it wasn’t in the cards.
I think this is the first book by Kristen Proby that I didn’t just fall head over hills in love with and I am very disappointed with myself for it. There were a few moments where I popped for the little bits that were sprinkled in, a cameo mention of a certain fictional character that made me grin... I walk away from this read though with a bit of excitement for Jillian and Zach’s story. The sneak peek into the next book and the little moments they shared in this have me ready to see their relationship blossom and I am a sucker for the whole single dad thing – so having Seth be a major part of their story is going to be a bonus.
