Do not understand why this absolutely excellent and outstanding book is so hard to find in the U.S. One could say it is almost as rare as hen's teeth. I did find a hardcover, but wanted the cheaper and smaller paperback. Yertle The Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz ought to be part of every child's heritage now as they were back in the 60s. Thank you the store for making it possible for me to get copies of it.

This is a high quality binding of a wonderful book. I actually bought it for an adult book club to lighten the mood for a summer month! Google the title; you will find lots of material for discussion!

These books come so small you cannot read them. Possibly not for a tablet. this is the third book this has happened with. Also The Ugly Bug Ball and Snug as a Bug. I have now invested over $10 for books I cannot read.
El Lorax :: Hop on Pop (I Can Read It All By Myself) :: The Dr. Seuss Coloring Book :: Horton Hatches the Egg :: (New York Times Notable Book of the Year) (Classic Seuss)

These three stories are indeed lessons worth teaching because they all have unpleasant surprise endings for the characters; when the kids read them, they will understand the consequences of greed, vanity, and pride.
