Murder Game is the best of the Ghostwalkers series so far. Too much sex? Uh, no :) The story line was tighter and more compelling than its predecessors and old characters come out to play. No dull pages to skip, no lag in the action and no unnecessary angst among the characters. Great hero & heroine- she's tough without being brassy and screachy. Loved it. It is worth the price and worth the read.

I have enjoyed this series so far, now the storyline is getting monotonous. I will say the author is very good at integrating each book in series, so you can keep characters straight.
This book also can stand on its own, if you chose to not read rest of series.

Sorry, but much as I like the Ghostwalker series, this one was barely readable. Ms. Feehan's writing - and consequently her characters - were very superficial. I think she mass-produces too many books and her writing suffers because of it.

As always, the new novel "Murder Game", by Christine Feehan, meets the needs of the reader with suspense, drama, and human connections. Yes, there is a love story, but the author also delves into the relationships between friends and warriors. Good reading on its own, better if you have read the previous novels about the Ghostwalkers.

Wow Murder Game was awesome. Man can Christine Feehan write a intriguing plot. I loved this couple, and I loved this book. 7 books into this series, and I am still just as hooked as I was after reading the first book. I do want to say this book was darker, and there is some details about murder, rape, and the torture of men, women, and children.

What this book is about
Someone is committing murders, and the Ghostwalkers are getting the blame. Kaden has been ordered to find the murderer, and take him or her out, before all the Ghostwalkers are eliminated. Kaden needs the help of fellow Ghostwalker Tansy, who can read objects when she touches them, and she is helping them whether she wants to, or not. The only problem is the minute he smells her, he knows she is his genetically matched mate, and she is destroying all his ice cold control!

Everyone believes Kaden has ice running through his veins, because he never shows emotions, until Tansy! I absolutely adore Kaden. He has one of the saddest backgrounds of the whole series. The only way he survives his past is by burying all his emotions, and having complete control at all times. I love how Tansy turns his whole world inside out. Kaden is very Passionate. I feel Christine Feehan did a wonderful job of keeping Kaden true to himself. Tansy softened Kaden a lot, but it was a slow melt, and he was still Kaden. Still bossy, and dominant, and rough around the edges. Kaden is very loyal, and determined. I found Kaden to be a sexy caveman beast! I didn't feel he was too controlling, or mean, just your typical yummy alpha male losing his cool over a woman.
I really like Tansy. She is sweet, and giving , but she stands up to Kaden, and his iron will when she truly wants something. She is brave, and wants to do the right thing. She is driven, and single minded when she starts a task. She needs to see it to the end. She loves wholeheartedly , and doesn't play with Kaden's feelings, which I loved! She softens Kaden with her love, understanding, and total acceptance of who he is.
Kaden and Tansy have a insta-love, but it worked for me. They are full of passion, and set my kindle on fire. I love them together, and rooted for them all the way. I love the comradery the Ghostwalkers have with each other. I love the way they are always ribbing each other. This book had a great story line that kept me on the edge of my seat dying to know what was going to happen next. Murder Game is a terrific addition to the Ghostwalker series. I can't wait to see what else this series has in store.

Christine Feehan is going back to her Ghostwalker roots in her 7th book in the series, "Murder Game." Our hero is Kadan Montague (or Kaden Bishop, as he introduced himself in "Mind Game (GhostWalkers, Book 2)." Now, he says Bishop is just a nickname. And we need to ignore the fact that the spelling of his first name has changed over time. But I digress.) Kadan is Special Forces soldier who has been psychically and physically enhanced by evil genius scientist Dr Whitney. He is part of the first team of these soldiers, who call themselves Ghostwalkers, that were featured in the first three books.

He has been tasked to find solve a string of murders, which appear to have been committed by fellow Ghostwalkers. So he seeks out a former serial killer profiler, Tansy. He realizes immediately that --1-- she is one of the female Ghostwalkers enhanced by Whitney in her childhood; and --2-- Whitney has chemically altered the two of them to be undeniably attracted to each other. Think turbo-pheromones.

Anyway, Tansy doesn't want to help. The way her talent works is that she touches an object and can see into the souls of those who handled it before her. But handling that energy takes a serious toll, especially if the soul she encounters is evil or violent. The voices of the victims linger in her mind; at one point she even had a breakdown --and that's why she quit helping the authorities. And why she doesn't want to help Kadan. She is in no hurry to get away from him, though. He is an anchor, which helps calm the constant barrage of energy that is always flittering around her. She can even touch him without discomfort. And touch him she does.

Kadan doesn't realize the real impact that tracking killers has on Tansy. Until he tricks her into touching an object from one of the murder scenes. Once he sees the toll it takes, he tries to release her from the case, but she decides the killers need to be stopped. Turns out, there is a game going on that pits two teams of Ghostwalkers against each other. They're committing murders with specific targets to gain points for their team in a macabre competition. As the story progresses, Tansy works to uncover the members of the teams, and the elusive "puppet master" organizing the games.

The chemistry between Kadan and Tansy is great. But like many of Feehan's alpha males, Kadan is a bit too much. He insists on taking charge of every situation and making all the decisions. And it irks me that he insists Tansy allow him to touch her whenever and however he wants. Despite that, their scenes are sexy and he clearly needs her like he's never needed anyone.

I liked Kadan's story better than the other stories featuring his group. But I prefered the SEAL stories. This one didn't touch the intensity of the Norton books, despite a solid and interesting plot. 4 stars.

From page one the suspense builds in the seventh story in the Ghostwalker series by prolific author Christine Feehan. Keden Montigue drags Tansy Meadows into the investigation to clear the Ghostwalkers of murder suspicions. With alpha type male with looks to spare. You will find yourself enthrall with the characters and well written plot as you try not to peak ahead to find out what will happen next.

Tansy Meadows knows her psychic gift is a two edged sword as has used it to help the police track down murderers especially serial killers, but also has left her alone as even a simple handshake causes problems. Recently injured on a climb, she told authorities she lost her skill. FBI GhostWalker Kadan Montague had heard of her when he was training at Quantico and she was a teen. Now he needs her ability to locate serial killers playing a coastal deadly competitive game in which he believes a ghost walker is involved; perhaps two of them one on each side.

He finds her sleeping naked in an isolated field. When he grabs her, she is shocked her mental skills to cause pain fail her. Reluctantly Tansy agrees to assist him in ending the lethal competition although she hides her bet with herself that she will not come out of this one sane.

This is a refreshing Ghost Walker entry due to the lead couple and their telepathic romance and the killing teams with their apparently paranormal specialists in spite of The MURDER GAME concept not being new (see Barton's DYING GAME). The story line cleverly compares the growing love between Kadan and Tansy and the horrific violent homicidal hunts. With the return of couples from previous tales in the saga, fans will enjoy this strong thriller while wondering whether ghost hunters lead the predators and will Kadan say those three words to Tansy; assuming they survive the game they entered not meaning to be the prey.

Murders are happening along the coasts, and Kadan has been ordered to find out who, why, and stop them. He's also ordered to keep it under wraps - no one on his team is allowed to know what's going on. For the murders are suspicious - whoever is doing it, is getting in and out in a flash, no witnesses, no evidence, nothing. They're being made to look like it's the GhostWalkers. Someone high up has always wanted them gone. Now they're being threatened - a force wants them wiped out, and Kadan refuses to go down without a fight.

There's only one person he can ask for help, and he needs to find her quick. One of many of Lily's "sisters", Tansy is one of enhanced girls. As a child, she'd helped the police and the FBI catch murderers with her enhanced gifts. There's only one draw-back - the voices of the victims, of the murderers, stay in her head. Whitney had taken away her defenses and she can't block them. After the last episode, she'd spent a long time in a hospital until she believed her mental stability would allow her to function.

Now, up in the Sierras, she's working her freelance job, getting pictures for National Geographic. And that's where Kadan finds her. But when he sees her, his body reacts, instantly. He knows that the enhancing Whitney did included being paired with Tansy, but what he feels is deeper; quickly, to him, Tansy is home. She sees a side of him that not even his closest friends, the other GhostWalkers, have seen.

Together, in their struggle, they track down the murderers and who is running the game. Only, he's a `hunter', and a `dreamwalker', exactly like Tansy. Stopping him just got a lot more complicated.

And I so loved this book! I don't think there is one GhostWalker novel that's left me disappointed. I waited long enough for Kadan's story. Kadan, who always seemed so cold, distant, ice in his veins.

I can tell you, he met his match with Tansy. She's a strong woman, determined, like a bulldog who won't let go once she sinks her teeth into something, no matter the cost to her. Unless it's sex, she's not pushover. She stands up to Kadan, like he's never seen anyone do, and he loves her all the more for it.

I think, though, that I'd like to see the next woman be able to stand up a little stronger, to be able to push back when it comes to the sex. They constantly melt and agree to anything - I'd like to see the tables turned, and for at least one of the woman to be able to resist it.

What I really liked, the best parts, where when I busted a gut laughing at something the characters did or said. Kadan, the man with ice in his veins, was being teased, and I laughed my a** off. When that recording started playing in the car, I burst out laughing even as Tansy did. Listening to the banter between the men... all the while they're taking out the bad guys, which is supposed to be serious, and the banter between them had me laughing so hard, I had tears! That, IMO, was THE best parts of the book.

Perfect story, plot, characters, ending... the action was superb, the sex scenes tender as much as they are intense, the twists... OMG, the twists! You find out who's involved in what and it's actually a shock!

Excellent! And I can't wait for the next!

First off, it's porn with a subplot. Second, with phrases like "I'm going to beat you within an inch of your life," and "Don't ever tell me I can't touch you", it could double as a domestic violence hand book. And third, I am so disappointed in this author. I've read other Ghostwalker books, but this went beyond the normal mild misogyny and straight into hardcore S&M. Tansy was nothing more than object for Kaden's release. I'm surprised he didn't order her to call him "Master" while he forced her to fondle him in front of his teammates.

I greatly anticipated Kadens story. I enjoyed his character in the other Ghost Walker books (I was fearful that it would disappoint as so many other much anticipated books do, but I was pleasantly surprised it did not). I thought the book was pretty well written and enjoyed catching up with the other Ghost Walkers, Ryland, Gator, Nico, Ian and Tucker. I felt their sidelines added to the book and did not detract from the main story and it made me look forward to upcoming characters books. I will not spoil the end of the book, but I liked how all the GhostWalkers had a part in the ending not just the one main male character.

I do agree with other reviews that the Agressive Sex is becoming a "too" much and boy I am surprised to hear myself say that. That is a trend with all the Paranormal Romance Writers lately, to the point where it actualy detracts from the books and not enhances it. The "Hero's" are getting too agressive and are almost as bad as the "bad" guys themselves. I want all the female leads both Ghost Walker and Carpathian to step up and do a little "putting them in their place."

But that being said I thought the book was still good by itself or as a continuation to the series, it was definately worth the read.

First of all, I LOVE the Ghostwalker series - and have loved Kaden in all the other books. This book was no exception. However, I have to ask - did Dr. Whitney give Kaden an extra dose of a "super charged sex hormone attractant"? Christine's books have great romance/love making scenes, however this book was way over the top. As another reader mentioned, I found myself fast-forwarding through the sex scenes to get back to the story. (I can't believe I'd EVER say that.) The plot was great: murder, mystery, suspense, action packed...a very good addition to the Ghostwalker series.

I have a love/love/irritated relationship with this book. That maybe because I have longed for Kadan for so long. It seems Christine has had some pointers in the sex writing dept because she has taken it to a new level for her and I loved it. Her sex scenes were AWESOME. (Someone note the time and day) I am ashamed to say it was too much damn sex. I found myself wondering and waiting to see if Whitney gave Kadan alittle extra juice or something because his reactions were abit over the top. The repeated 'Baby-I-know-you're-bleeding-and-almost-died-a-few-seconds-ago-but-I-must-be-inside-you-right-now.' scenes got trying. And man were they long drawn out ones too. No quickies for my man.

I was also a little mad nothing was advanced with Whitney and nothing revealed about anything else. The revelations that were made were anticlimactic for me. Other than that it was a great book. The action and mystery and tension between the two were wonderful. And I must say again...I love Gator!!!! This story took me full circle. This is amazing writing for Christine Feehan.

I've followed the GhostWalker series and enjoyed them immensely. IMHO, Murder Game is arguably the best in the series. The story is riveting and action-packed. Kaden is the ultimate Alpha male and Tansy is relentless and courageous. I won't give specifics about the plot except to say that Tansy is helping Kaden (and his team) find out whose murdering people and who's trying to destroy the GhostWalkers by blaming the murders on them. To say more would truly spoil the story and the journey taken by Kaden, Tansy and his team. We meet some of the GhostWalkers from previous books, and we are plunged right in the smack of the story, the adventure, the suspense.

There are many sexual encounters in this book, and Kaden is not considered a gentle lover, but Tansy is ready, willing and able to take him on.

I really, really enjoyed this book and devoured it in practically one sitting---it was that good. Ms. Feehan has hit the ball out of the park on this one. Will she top it with her next GhostWalker book? I can't wait to find out.

When this series began, I loved it. Ghostwalkers were something new and very fresh, so far removed from Feehan's other books I was amazed it was the same author.

Unfortunately, Murder Game brings up one of the very points I found so repugnant in other books. The hero used mind control to force the heroine to do things his way. Granted, Tansy is not as restricted by Kaden as the Carpathian women tend to be, but having the man literally take control of the woman's body and mind is not something I feel is the least bit romantic or heroic. Kaden is a bossy bully and he isn't someone i would want to read again.

The sex in this story felt overdone as well. The number of sex scenes could have been cut in half and still been intrusive on the storyline. The fell into bed too fast to really build the romantic tension, and they went at it like bunnies in heat after that. I love sexy stories, but this one wasn't done well and as a result the heat fizzled. The characters felt shallow and Tansy was particularly flat.

Something that was well done was the suspense aspect of the 'murder game.' This part of the story kept me reading. Excellent acton and suspense here, BUT the author let the series storyline concerning Dr. Whitney intrude too much. The Whitney storyline didn't advance at all and I felt it cluttered up the storyline here.

In all, this book was a huge flop for me. I'm not sure I'm interested in reading any more Feehan at this point. Her men cross the line from commanding to control freaks and the stories are becoming increasingly congested with irrelevant information.

I, too, struggled to get into this book, thought the sex scenes a bit gratuitous, thought Kadan's caveman attitude confounding, found the plot unbelievable at times (especially the puppet master's super psychic abilities) and a third of the way through the story decided the book probably only deserved a one-star rating.

Fortunately, I stuck with it and by the end, I was surprised to feel disappointed that the story was over. In fact, I was ready to give it 5 stars, that's how much I ended up enjoying the book.

In particular, something about Kadan grabbed my attention. Instead of finding his neanderthal persona annoying and one-dimensional (like many of Christine Feehan's alpha male characters) Kadan grew on me - so much so that by the story's end, I was truly moved by his desperate need/obsession w/Tansy. I thought Tansy, given her complicated history, was interesting, likable and more complex than some of the other "lost girls" from previous stories; and the plot, while more far-fetched than usual, played out reasonably well.

But what I liked best (and is how the story ends up w/4 stars - would have been 5 but for the far-fetched puppet master character) was the fact that so many characters from the previous ghostwalker books made appearances and played significant roles in this story too. It made it more fun to read, if one can even call a story this dark "fun".

Definitely worth reading the other Ghostwalker stories first, however, otherwise I don't think you'll appreciate this story as much.

Of all the Ghost Walker novels, This was my absolute favorite. Kaden was exactly the way you expected him to be from the other novels that he was a part of. strong, mysterious, hard when he had to be and very protective. I loved how the other Ghost Walkers were involved in his story and the woman that was matched with him was perfect. I've read this story twice and I believe someday I will read it again, It was that good!!! So much suspense, action and the right amount of lovemaking. I loved the powers that each of them were gifted with. I didn't want it to end.

Feehan weaves a wonderful tale of romance and spellbinding adventure in book seven of the Ghostwalker series. Kaden and Tansey ignite this book with passion and the plot is full of suspense as the ghostwalker team engages in a rescue. I really enjoyed this book as well as the others in this series so far. Recommended for mature readers.

The murder game itself was fascinating, and I found myself wishing that the author had spent more time on it. For a plot that lends itself to action, the action of this book got broken up and slowed down by talk and introspection, some of which was rather repetitive. It was fascinating to watch the Ghost Walkers work together, particularly as this is the first Ghost Walker book that I've read.

However, I have one major reservation about this book, something that left a bad taste in my mouth when it was all over. First, let me make one thing clear. It takes all kinds to make the world go 'round; I get that. Some folks want to read fantasies about taming the bad boy, bringing the alpha male to heel, or even being submissive to a dominant man; that's their choice. What I don't like is when an author gussies it up as though they have to defend that fantasy and make it "justifiable." And that's how this book comes across, in a really big way. Kadan is extremely domineering, and while Tansy has just enough spine for the author to be able to say, "see? She's a strong woman, really she is" (as Kadan and Tansy insist on pointing out to the reader on a number of occasions), one kiss from Kadan and she becomes "pliant" and "obedient" (yes, words used within a page of one another to describe Tansy's reactions to Kadan).

Kadan might not be physically abusive, but he comes close to it a couple of times. And he does things that most people would NOT consider appropriate in a relationship, such as requiring Tansy to allow him to touch her provocatively in front of other people even when it embarrasses her. And it's somehow supposed to be okay because she can read his mind and knows that he's actually insecure and needy under it all.

Again, if you want to write a dominance/submission story for those people who enjoy such things, go right ahead. But damn well be honest about it--don't dress it up and toss a dozen different justifications at it so you can pretend that isn't what it is. As it is, this book left me with a sour feeling of blatant authorial manipulation of the reader.

My rating would be a 4 for interesting story, plot, and characters, but the above issue left me so annoyed with the book that I had to drop it to a 2.

I was glad to see another by Feehan published. The GhostWalkers series is better than the sisters one by far. I have been looking forward to Kadan's book and it was a good one. The only somewhat disappointing part was the quick sex. Tansy was a good character. It would have been better to have a little sexual tension. I found myself skimming the sex scenes to get to the plot. (Spoiler) Another quibble is how quickly they killed off the serial murders. Should it have gone so smoothly? That many dangerous people wouldn't have beeb done in so easily no matter how skilled their opponents.

I look forward to the next in the series.

In response to the previous reviews, yes there was a lot of sex. I wouldnt say it detracted though so I dont know why everyone is sooo upset. Just skim over it if youve had enough. The actual plot was great, the stand alone part as well as the continuation of the arc part. What I love about this book is that Feehan got back to a lot of the team members from the first few books in the series that we havent seen for a while, and they were really a big part of the book, not just thrown in for a scene or two at the end. Its so great reading there interactions and she does it so well. Tansy and Kadan were great also. The emotions came a little quick but in such a way that she didnt make it seem rushed. Just that they clicked and got eachother instantly. Im always sad to put down a book in the ghostwalker series bc I know I have so long to wait til the next. But this was certainly a great addition to the series!

Feehan had the perfect opprotunity to really expand the plot in the book. The concept of two teams murdering and the one man controlling COULD have led to so many twist, turns, and tension in the story. Instead Feehand squandered the time on sex, sex, and more sex. If you like just reading about sex, then you'll be pleased. I for one, got bored. I've never been against the sexual tension, romance, and falling for each other scene. I'm even all for a bit of lusty tumbling, but to just have to read over the same thing time and time agian is dull. The relationship was absolutely UNbelievable. They were saying they loved each other on the second day of meeting. The hero was overbearing and dominating and the herione was a pushover. They were not likable in the least bit.

Where to start wuth this collection of outstanding characters, incredible action and suspense, wonderful, emotionally connected sensuality and a hideous serial killer? Having read all this author's books I was ready for greatness, but this time both her lead male and female characters are so clearly defined and allowed their reasonable--though extreme--differences. This acceptance forces them into believeable compromise that then makes teir unity stronger. Plus the characters from the other books are represented and allowed to remain true to THEIR own strengths and personalities. ALthough these books are rather blood-thirsty, there is a strong thread of mercy that is allowed to grow. Not a spoiler--but at one point when a negotiated "hospitalization" happens, it is so emotionally real for all the characters--even family members we haven't seen in the story yet--that you are right THERE in the moment when hard decisions are being made. Do not start with this one--but jump in now and get on the fabulous bandwagon of these terrific, well written books.

I got into the Ghostwalker series by accident. I had gotten Conspiracy Game in a book bundle and gave it a try. Okay, who could not fall in lust with the Norton twins? I got together the whole series and finally read them in order and ended on this one. Hmmm...when did Kaden start cussing like a trucker? Tansy is such a sweetie if not a bit of a doormat. Even Nico has a bit more dialogue. Kaden however, left me a little disappointed. Me personally, this was the weakest of the bunch. Not a bad story and I didn't mind the over abundant sex scenes but I agree with some other readers they fell in some awkward moments. They other thing that left me a little confused is who was running the show? Kaden or Ryland? Oh well, Ian's story (which I hope gets written soon:D) I hope will fair better than this one. I like this series and will still continue to read them but I will not hesitate to throw another stinker across the room.

Although this continuing saga of the Ghost Walkers has some of Feehan's usual action, the plot is extremely convoluted and depressingly (as well as descriptively) gory. Perhaps if Feehan had devoted more pages to plot development rather than repetitious sex scenes, I would have given the book the 5 star rating I gave the other books in the Ghost Walker series. For some reason, Feehan has given Kadan Montague, whom I have always considered to be one of the "rocks" of the team, a weird obsessive compulsion to stake his claim on Tansy, regardless of the location or who is present. While the book is still an okay read, it definitely is not one of Feehan's best.

Dear Kaden,

I have looked forward to your book since Lilly's. You are the enigma, the man who shields not only his friends from danger, but himself from the rest of the world. You are the perfect ghostwalker and man oh man I want you to be mine!!

Your genetic matched mate Tansy started out as a great character but fell two dimensional after only 50 pages. And the sex.... oh man the sex all you two did was have sex, sex, sex oh and how about more sex. Like you meet Tansy... then see her naked... then have sex that night. Her parents are 'kidnapped' and how do you big strong Kaden handle it?? You have sex... again.
Did I mention that this book had a lot of sex? For the sake of not sounding too repetitive I'm going to stop there. The plot was amazing and shouldn't have taken back seat to the sweaty scenes. Christine Feehan is a great writer, she was just too horny while writing this.

Alas Kaden you fall below Jack and Ken now for their books were plot with a little cherry of sex. I hope the next one is as amazing as I dreamed Murder Game would be.

I had a really hard time getting through this book. Usually I will sit down and read a book cover to cover with as few small breaks as possible but this book took several days for me to finish. The long breaks in between were almost mandatory, it was like my brain could only take so much angst and emo before finally screaming help at which time I would hurl the book across the room to pick up later.

But even with all that I enjoyed it while I read it. I know it doesn't make any sense. But I guess to sum all that up in small doses I really liked the book but if I had made myself read it cover to cover I might have gone insane.

My problems were the extremes: Kadan with no emotion, Tansy with way too much emotion. Now Kadan I could live with, he was a little Gamma but more because he couldn't feel emotions, not because he was a jerk. Tansy, on the other hand, I had MAJOR issues with. People in the book kept telling me how strong she is but I just didn't see it AT ALL. And the TSTL (too stupid to live) moment when she sliced her leg open... well I wanted to personally knock her upside the head.

She's on the edge of sanity and yet she thinks NOW would be good time to start a seriously intense relationship with a guy she's known five seconds? That was just too unbelievable for me. I really felt both characters would have benefited from some one-on-one time with a psychiatrist.

The sub-plot was really good and very engaging, and I think that's what pulled me back to the book even though I disliked Tansy.

I'm still not sure if I liked or hated this book so I'm going down the middle with my rating. It's worth the read if you have read the previous GhostWalkers books but on its own I think I would have said "Thanks but no thanks." and moved on to something else.

This is the seventh installment in Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series. GhostWalkers are psychically and genetically enhanced Special Forces soldiers who didn't quite understand what they were getting into when they signed on to this "Black Ops" project. Their missions are on a need to know only basis and not the type of missions from which you would expect a soldier to return but these soldiers are in fact the perfect super warriors.

As expected when dealing with such a valuable commodity as a super soldier, powerful individuals who do not have the greater good in mind would do anything to obtain these men and/or the science behind them.

In case you were wondering, yes, these are paranormal romance novels. Each novel is a particular GhostWalker's love story. This is Kadan Montague's love story. Okay men, don't leave just yet. There is plenty of action, machismo, and some of the steamiest love scenes Christine has published to date in this book. Oops, I may have lost the guys with the last part; or maybe not.

I have been anticipating Kadan's story almost from the beginning of this series. He has been an enigma lurking in the background of almost every GhostWalker novel preceding this one and it does not disappoint. This is a man who is considered "one scary individual" by his own teammates. He is a cold blooded killing machine.

Kadan is sent on a mission with which even his fellow GhostWalkers cannot assist because they are all considered suspects in a series of murders. It is up to Kadan to clear them all. He quickly realizes he cannot go it alone so he seeks out a very special woman to help him.

Tansy Meadows has an almost supernatural ability to track serial killers but at a very high personal cost to her health and even her sanity. She tries to avoid human contact whenever possible, which explains her chosen profession of wildlife photography. It allows her a great deal of time away from everyone and everything. Isolation has become a basic requirement for her life to have any possibility of continuing. Now Kadan needs her help. How can she possibly go with him? It might literally kill her in more ways than she initially understands.

I am a reader of all of Christine's novels and from the very first installment of this series, the GhostWalkers became a favorite. Men who are capable of meeting the requirements to become members of the Special Forces are men who are already in a class of their own. I consider them a cut above us average humans and incredibly HOT! Now enhance their psychic and physical abilities and you have MAJOR HOTNESS!

The GhostWalkers premise creates plenty of opportunities for espionage, intrigue, mystery, and adventure. I think that is what has allowed each novel to be so fresh and each story to be strong enough to stand alone. It has been a series that has yet to run out of steam, and Kadan's story is actually one of the more exciting and complex of the series so far.

For those who have never read a GhostWalker novel and are wondering if he or she MUST begin at the beginning. It is not necessary. I would encourage you to read the first book, "Shadow Game", if you can to get a good feel for the beginning, but even that is not necessary. It is, however, definitely more pleasurable. Just read, and enjoy. Snatch up each installment as you can and all the pieces will eventually fall into place.

I love the Gostwalker Series, each one stands on its own so that it's difficult to realy say which is really the best. This particular addition features Kadan and Tansy, both of whom have had psychic experimentation done on them. They have also been unknowingly/unwillingly chemically paired up, so when they meet up, they are physically drawn toward one another.
This book was definitely one you had to pay attention to-- no skippin pages, people! There several plot twists in addition to two or three backstories that made the storyline particularly suspenseful. The central conflict in this book is a series of murders that are taking place, murders that could only be committed by a Ghostwalker. In an effort to clear the Ghostwalkers' names, Kaden has been sent to find out who the murderers are. He tries to enlist the help of Tansy Meadows, a reknowned psychic who claims to have lost her tracking psychic ability in an accident #which Kaden knows is BS#. Upon seeing her for the first time, he realizes that the scientist who experimented on both of them must have paired them together chemically as well, as his body is reacting to her presence. The rest of the book follows the two of them as Tansy tries to "track" the killers using object left behind at the murder scenes. There's lots of suspense, as using her talent too much opens a floodgate of nightmares and triggers seizures; you find yourself really rooting for her as she becomes more and more mentally and emotionally ragged by chasing the murderers in so short a time period.
Like most Christine Feehan books, the male is quite dominant and macho. Very overprotective. Tansy, however, is not as strong as most of Feehan's heroines are. Taking into account the character's nervous breakdown and the fact that she can feel memories/emotions off of everything people have touched (park benches, cups, spoons, walls, bikes, factory-made clothes, etc), I suppose that there was no other way Feehan COULD have written Tansy. I'm pretty sure she had Tansy thought up exactly by the time she reached this book, as Tansy is mentioned once before by name in Mind Game (second book in the series) and is referred to as being very introverted/quiet.
One way or another, I believe this s a great installment to the Ghostwalker series.

I love Christine Feehan and I love the Ghostwalkers series. That being said, I found this story harder to "get into" than the previous books. This story is heavy/duty with some disturbing scenarios. The book was still good, I just didn't fall in love with Kadan like I have with the other walkers. Kadan didn't seem to "thaw" as much as the other men, IMO. Definitely read it if you love the rest of the series though.

While I liked all the Ghostwalkers, there was something so appealing about Kaden. the scene where he is making her come back is so poignant, the things he says about being lonely. In all the books, he stood out, something about him, so mysterious. I was very happy when his book came out and I wasn't disappointed.

I have enjoyed all of the Ghostwalker series so far, especially Conspiracy Game and Deadly Game; those Norton boys...phew. I love the teasing and joking around that goes on with the team when they get together. Kadan and Tansy were intense but thinking about their personalities and their talents makes them who they are. With all that enhancing, it's no wonder the sex was hot and alot of it. Can't wait to read Street Game.

The Ghostwalker series is about these genetically enhanced super guys and women who live very dangerous lives. There has always been a lot of action and a substantial plot. However, this time I felt that for every two pages of plot/action there were ten pages of full detailed sexapades. While the plot was pretty good the amount of sex throughout the book was way too much. I found myself skimming through those pages to get back to the plot. I hope she sticks to the suspense and action as she has done in her previous books. I am still a fan of the ghostwalkers because the plots and suspense are really good. Just a little bit of sex should go to this particular series.
