Royal Dragon (The Bride Hunt Book 1)

I managed to finish the book, and although the concept i liked i cant get over my absolute dislike for Julie. I kinda wanna read about the other characters but this heroine was AWFUL and makes me wanna scrap this series.

Could not put this book down. Well written and kept my interest from the first page to the last; and I still wanted more! So, I ordered the next two books and hope that there will be more written for this series.

If you enjoy a strong feisty female lead with an alpha male look no more. Coal and Julie story has jealous outsider, bossy men, and a women determined to save herself. Love isn't were it began in this story, but who's know where it will end.

If you like reading about sex you will like this book. I would have liked more character development myself. The words used throughout this book are modern. The word God is used a lot but never capitalized? I would have liked the story line to be a bit more in depth with less enfaces on the sex and more on the history of the character. All in all it was an interesting read.

I love Charlene as an author and again she hasn't disappointed me this book is a fantastic read . I don't like to quote from a authors book its like reading the ending before starting the book ! X but if you liked chosen by the kings and the mating programme from Charlene's other books then you will love this book too ! It took me a day to read this couldn't put it down ! X Great book to read .

Interesting take on dragon shifter romance. Loved Coal. He is incredibly patient with Julie. Her protests and rebellion just went on much too long. It was boring. I will read the next story in the series.

First let me say that I love Charlene as an author. However, this book just didn't capture me like the others. I feel like the love was forced and the connection didn't ignite until the end, which was just a way tie them. Perhaps the characters weren't explored like the others. With this all said i hope the series gets better since it has a lot of potential.

In all honesty I just didn't like this book at all. You know when you have those lists of main characters that you honestly can't even begin to love or even like? That was Julie. She kept getting angry about the same exact things even though Coal numerously explained to her that the things she was getting angry about doesn't exist and that she was misinformed. And then even when she saw her fellow girls who were content and happy and told her that the dragon shifters meant them no harm and nobody was forcing them to do anything she still twirled it around in her head that something bad was going on.. ??? Julie kept saying that she was going to go home, and that's cool, all the girls had the option to go home, but even she knew that she had nothing to go back to.

Coal and Julie didn't really even get to know each other. They had sex. Most of the book was them having sex and Julie whining. Suddenly fast forward and boom they're in love.

Whining and complaining does not equal a strong female lead. Getting angry over the smallest things does not equal a strong female lead. More like an annoying female lead who is too hard headed to understand what people are telling her.

I really just didn't like the book. I wish there was more to the plot than sex and her continuously saying/thinking she wants/should leave. Really didn't like it. When I read the description I was really excited and thought it would be interesting but it really just let me down.

What woman wouldn't want to feel secured not just the living environment but the way the males feel to protect. Eager to claim what is theirs. Non humans seem more convincing when it comes to life time mating <3

At first the main female character annoyed me. She was really rude even when he was being kind to her. As the story got going I loved her and how she developed. I cannot wait until the second book comes out.

This book started off interesting and then between poor dialogue and a serious jump to advance the plot line, it fell flat. I think the author should maybe take a psych class to afford her some more insight into her characters.

It is a book as it contains pages with words on them. But it is a thorough waste of time to read. It has little to no story, some character growth if you are extremely optimistic. It seems to be just a bunch of words thrown together to hang some very explicit sexual encounters together.

I chose this book because I love dragon romance stories. This one was great except that it has pages missing. That left parts out. I'll recommend this book and would like to read it again without the pages missing.

I read all of jessica Donvans dragon books and I need to say face book recomended this book so I tried it and I did enjoy it. Charlene has soome of the same writing style like Jessica. If you like these kind of books then you will enjoy this. it's worth a try

This is another great book by Charlene Hartnady. I love how balanced her writing is between story and erotica. This book was no exception! Love the tenderness she gives to the big savage dragon shifters. Nonstop read for any paranormal romance enthusiast.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS SERIES!!! Charlene your books keeps me wanting more! You are in my top five of paranormal authors. I am always sitting on the edge of my seat reading and waiting! Please keep them coming!
