I really enjoyed this book. It had many different types of supernatural characters in it. Loved the bond between the main characters. Hope that they get back to it and it's not left there. I think he truly cares about her and cant show it. Cannot wait for the next book.

I'm at the point now that I only very occasionally read a vampire book. They mostly seem the same with only an occasional spark of originality. Michelle Madow has provided one of those exceptions. Her take on vamps isn't just a spark of originality it's a full blown fire. Add in a strong plot and really well done characters and the result is a clear winner that I'm happy to recommend.

Oh my gosh! Add this to your book list!
Such a great read and with the many plot twists, I couldn't put it down!
Michelle has written a well-woven story with unexpected twists. I just love how she develops Annika and Jacen's story! A different take on the traditional romantic story. Read this book! My recommendation from a book nerd and lover of Twilight.
The Bane Chronicles :: Angelbound (Angelbound Origins Book 1) :: City of Bones (A Harry Bosch Novel) :: First Year (The Black Mage Book 1) :: City of Bones; City of Ashes; City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments)

Is there anything Michelle can't write?
I'm pretty sure she kan kill every genre, if she puts her teeth into it. (Yes, I really said that)
Normally when it says things like 'Twilight meets Aladdin' it's just this very little things that link them to the stories. But this one definitely is Twilight meets Aladdin. And I liked it.
Loved Jacen and Annika and hate the character of Camelia. But it's always good if I feel hate for a character, it means I'm invested in the story. And I am, just like with all her other books.
And as always I can't wait to read what's next!

This story has many similarities to The Shade series. The main characters are kidnapped on vacation, they both fall in love with the prince, so on and so forth. But I will say that even so this book was still good I still want to see what happens!

I wasn't sure if I would like it enough to finish the first book, but it kept my interest. I like that it's pretty clean, and the pace was good. And for once I found an Unlimited book that wasn't an editor's nightmare.

The story line was good and even started out well. Some where in the middle its starts to drag and give unnecessary details. Seems to me that the author knew they wanted a second book but also wanted this one to be a certain amount of pages. Over all a decent read with a possibilities for a cute story line. Unfortunately the action and pace left me questioning whether I wanted to continue reading the series.

Fans of Madow's Elementals series will not be surprised that Madow has done it again with a series debut that combines her own unique spin on our world, compelling characters, and interesting situations in which her characters can develop.

I received the ARC for this book >>

Some good world building in this story, and some interesting twists with the portrayal of the characters as it wasn't so predictable as it seemed it would be. The ending makes me want the next book ASAP!

Enter a world of werewolves, vampires and other supernatural beings where family is not always the most important but loyalty is key. From the first page right to the end, expect the unexpected with drama, suspense, revelations and realizations.

I really enjoyed this book. The idea was more original than othere and Michelle pulled it off nicely. My only criticism is that in a couple of places the pace was a little too slow for my liking. However, other than that I loved this book and can not wait for the next book.

Wow, it's so nice to be back in a vampire story. It's been awhile since I've picked up a book that involved vampires, and The Vampire Wish was more or less exactly what I wanted it to be: a quick, entertaining read. I'm really excited to see more from this world.

I really enjoyed this story. Wanting to know more about the characters and how Annika accomplished her goals to freedom. Excited to learn about why she was the only human in the world to get the sapphire ring and what powers it wholes.

I really enjoyed this book. I had a difficult time getting into it at first because it was a little slow for me. It did pick up in the middle and then I couldn't put it down. I was really sad when it ended. What a great cliffhanger!

Interesting and unique with an engaging Aladdin-like twist, The Vampire Wish caught my attention from chapter one and held on until the painstaking cliffhanger. Completely in love with the new world Michelle Madow has created right under our human noses. I anxiously await the next installment!

I received an ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. Vampire themed books are not a special favorite of mine, but since I enjoyed the Elementals series I decided to give this book a chance. The first few chapters were a bit slow for my taste, but my persistence was rewarded as the characters developed and the plot became more complex. The social strata of vampires, witches, wolves, and blood slaves has some fresh aspects that piqued my interest. I suspect that many adventures lie ahead for Annika and Jacen in the rest of this series.

I loved the vampire wish so much that I read it in one sitting. I laughed so hard when you made the crack about the seemingly never ending vampire series that the character was reading. It reminded me of the series that I have been reading for a year or so. I can't wait until your next book! This was an amazing find!

I enjoyed the story a lot. I love books that switch to different characters, it allows for a better immersion into the storyline and perspectives of each character. I like the setting of the story and how the wolves, vampires and witches are original but with a twist. I look forward to reading the next book!

I received an ARC copy of this for my honest review.

As the summary states, it is a Twilight meets Aladdin mashup with a twist. Vampires, wolves and witches with royalty and slaves where a thief finds a magical ring with a 'genie' trapped inside.

To be honest, I didn't read the summary of the book before reading. I done so purposely because I always love reading tales of vampires, that's my favorite thing to read. The beginning of the story was confusing to me with the idea of multiple characters telling their story. That part was intriguing but it took several chapters in to understand how they were all connected with one another.

Once I got further into the story it was easier to catch the story ideas from where the inspiration was pulled and distinguishable throughout. So much so that it almost became predictable. I kept reading to look for the twists and turns I had hoped for and the next thing I knew the story was over left on a cliffhanger.

I had started the Elemental series by the same author and loved the first book, looking forward to the second. I hoped for that with this one but instead I was left on the fence. I'm able to look past the spelling and grammatical errors since no one is perfect and they can sometimes be missed. What I will say is that I do look forward to reading the second book in the series to find out what happens, knowing what to expect, but hoping that there are some more unexpected twists to the story.

I had really high hopes for this book. Twilight meets Aladdin! One of my favorite books meets one of my favorite Disney movies! I was so excited but it just kind of landed flat for me. It did have some Twilight and Aladdin details but they were details. What I mean about details is a lamp, vampires and wolves that kind of thing. There was no real meshing is the word I'm going to use. It's still a good book. Michelle Madow is a fantastic author and I do want to read the next book to see what happens. Hopefully it picks up a bit.

I want to say that I love Michelle Madow and her books. I know this is a YA novel so I might be a little critical. It is a very great concept and wonderful story. It really is almost as if Aladdin meets the Supernatural world.Does keep you on your toes and wondering what will happen next. I think that this YA novel is an easy read and should definitely be aimed toward the ages 10-15. I read all four books in one day.

Really enjoyed this book, it was an interesting retelling of Aladdin, one of my favorite Disney movies, and including vampires to the story made it much better. Can't wait to read the next one after the way this book ended.
