I've read everything Katy Evans has ever written and here's the reason,...she's a fantastic writer! Her writing style grabs me every single time and never lets me go. She's probably my most reread author as well!
I read Tycoon and loved it, I recommend it but it's not necessary to read before Mogul, this is a standalone.
This one has drama, romance, super steamy chemistry and as always, is a serious page turner.
What can two strangers meeting in a cab turn into?
I loved Sara, she is strong yet sweet & innocent. A dreamer yet motivated...Ian is dreamy lol He's definitely a charmer but he's also got a huge heart in that gorgeous chest even though he's being put through the ringer by his horrible ex. He's still so caring at times that I felt like I was smiling over him and his thoughtfulness...
Beautifully romantic, I loved reading their story of falling in love! Katy Evans writes a beautiful story that readers will feel like swooning over. She's written so many wonderful lead men and Ian is up there with some of my faves. Don't worry Remy from REAL, no one will ever take your place lol
I highly recommend Mogul and Tycoon! Loved every word and I can't wait for this authors next book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The minute I started reading this book and the way Ms. Evans starts it, I knew I should keep a cold drink handy and maybe a personal air conditioner because holy moly these two are on FIRE!!!

Here's the most interesting part, he knew Sara's name but she didn't know his...that didn't stop either of them from having the best one night stand of their lives...and the next day, life goes on...except neither of them could forget the other. And when they meet again, Ian Ford is determined to have Sara in his life on a more permanent basis. He'll do whatever it takes to get rid of any obstacles in their way too...I love man who's powerful but can be brought to his knees because of a woman.

Because this book is running at the same time as Tycoon, we get a little Aaric and Bryn but from the other side. There isn't anything I didn't love about this book. The writing is phenomenal, the story is captivating and the characters are amazing. This is a definite must read from one of my favorite authors!!

Katy Evans does it again with this great love story that makes you smile and transports you in an easy afternoon of reading.

Sara and Ian both thought they were having a no strings one night stand, however they both become obsessed with finding each other again, a little difficult when Sara doesn't even know his name. When she finds him, Ian turns out to be the grandson of the woman Sara dog walks for.

It was absolutely delightful to watch them fall for each other. The romance between Sara and Ian was realistic and built naturally. Sara is everything I love in a strong female protagonist, vulnerable yet strong but totally relatable.

Ian Ford is sinfully delicious - charming, thoughtful and utterly swoon worthy. Yet Ian is bitter over his failed marriage and impending divorce..
This is a very sexy love story about two people who find their soul mates - I just loved it.

After meeting unexpectedly, Sara and Ian feel their swearing and undeniable chemistry. They agree to one night of passion. But they get a taste...and that taste is hot and completely mind-blowing...well, there’s no putting out that fire. And after seeing each other a second time they both quickly realize it.

I loved how despite obstacles Ian can’t get enough of Sara and won’t let anything
get in their way. Ian is seriously so damn swoon worthy. Despite challenges and some introspection about why they feel such an intense attraction, the raw intensity of their emotions is never put into doubt and Sara and Ian’s connection never truly waivers. I ached with them, felt their searing passion, and cheered for them the entire time.

Katy Evans once again blew me away with her exceptional writing. Raw, emotional, and real, she makes a storyline that’s been done so often and makes it all her own. Not to mention the steam factor is out of this world! Five stars.

Swoooooonnn Ian Ford.....
Ian and Sara wanted nothing but one night at room 1103... One night lead to many doors... Mogul is a sexy steamy read.. a book who will give you more blushes with feets curling.. the romance which can melt your emotions.. ahhh Katy impressed me with her ways to made me feel sexy and dreamy ..
Mogul had spoken to me with their own richness... a powerful man can have weakness... a human being who wants to be love..

This book is nothing short of sexy taunting....words that you want to hear behind the door..My world had been lifted off with seductive..lusting for every words.. soooooo i would recommend Mogul with the beat of my heart..its not cheesy love.. its not Romeo-Juliet ..but its Ian and Sara with Katy spins.. I can see her spirit through the storyline.. things that made me fallen in love...things that made me always drawn to her books..those feeling never fail... yet you compel me again with your charm.. ????

Mogul by Katy Evans is a hot, passionate and intense read! I found this to be a very fast paced and engaging story with very passionate tones all thru this read. What made this book work was the instant and sizzling chemistry between Ian and Sara. The author wrote a great story on what can happen after a 1 night stand. I enjoyed Sara’s sassy and sweet demeanor while Ian was fabulous as the sexy alpha male. This is a book that was meant to be savored and at the same time devoured while read. I loved the main characters and the cast of secondary characters in this book. It was exciting and full of heat. There are some twists that you have you literally hanging on to your seat yet the ending was pure Katy Evans. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading her next book.

My Rating: 4.7 stars *****

Mogul starts out with a hot and tantalizing bang!!!! My goodness I was hooked immediately!! I thought I was going to combust while reading it. Sara is an aspiring dancer who is adventurous, assertive and my kind of girl! She's daring and definitely is not afraid to go after what she wants. Ian is a devastatingly handsome, alpha male suit and successful movie producer.

When Sara and Ian meet, the sparks between them ignite immediately. Sara just so happens to work at the hotel where Ian is a guest. They meet in room 1103 and their explosive relationship takes off from there. Their sexual relationship is so stimulating, thigh clenching and I couldn't get enough. I loved the story-line which is consistent and very engaging.

Mogul is a great love story and well written plot with unforgettable characters. I definitely recommend reading it as you will not be disappointed.

There’s a reason why this author is a bestselling one, she has the power to write magic with her ink.

I absolutely ADORED this book, I consider myself an stalker of this woman, she owns me completely when a book is out from her.

This story it was as always something typical from Katy, sexy, passionate powerful and oh so magnificent.

Her writing is pure class, delighting and unique, I won’t ever get enough of her.

Ian and Sara took me to a world of fantasies and dream, a world where two hearts collided and passion burned.

Ian wasn’t just the typical male, he was so incredible that I wanted to be Sara at some point( no, really).

If you are looking for a beautiful story, a man with baggage but a heart of gold? Ian is the perfect one. omg!!! I can’t express how much I adore him! My sexy mogul, my powerful man.

Sara works a concierge at the Four Seasons and never thought she would find herself running late and sharing a cab with a man who seemed very self consumed and full of himself and getting everything he ask for. Not expecting to ever see him again she goes to work to receive a mysterious call from room 1103 which turns out to be him and turns into a one night stand. Not even knowing his name she finds herself getting fired and working for her friend and dog waking for a older woman. Soon she finds out that the older woman is the grandmother of the mysterious one night stand and they meet again and his name is Ian but he holds a secret and will that ruin everything including a possible career change. I love the chemistry between Ian and Sara. This is a hot read with strong characters and story line. A must read again by Katy Evans

Mogul is steamy, like melt your kindle, steam rising from the screen sexy. However, the story stalls out from there.

The characters are very two dimensional outside of their lust for each other, making it hard to connect with them on an emotional level or even understand their desire to be more than an sexual conquest. What readers do learn about Ian will make them like him, and they will understand what motivates him. He is, however, quick to turn his anger and distrust around without really knowing Sara. I liked the heroine as well, with the exception of his derogatory terms regarding her sexual cravings. I cringed every single time she uttered or thought the word. Their chemistry in the bedroom is hot and is quite possibly the steamiest Katy Evans couple, but it ends there for me.

The plot is also underdeveloped. There are so many opportunities for real conflicts based on the characters past and present situations, and all of them were ignored or solved within pages. This couple didn't face any real challenges, and at the end I felt ambivalent about whether or not they stayed together.

Mogul is a miss for me, but the syntax and diction, basically the quality of writing, is still there, and fans of Katy Evans will enjoy this heat inducing read.

Mogul

**received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mogul brings back two characters that you briefly meet in Tycoon who captured your interest and hoped that you would learn their story. Sara and Ian are immediately attracted to one another and will have some obstacles to overcome for them to be together. Sara is independent and knows what she wants and Ian is what she wants. He is hot, sexy and bossy and will do what he needs to get what he wants.

Sara shares a cab with a stranger and it turns into a one night stand. She never gets his name, but everyday she looks for him to come through the doors of the hotel. But soon her life turns upside down when she loses her job and begins to work for her roommate. Will she ever see the man from that night?

Ian can’t get Sara out of his head. She has left an impression and he needs to see her again. But when he meets her again, he can’t let it be more than this, he is getting out of a horrible relationship and can’t afford the distraction. But he can’t deny how he is starting to feel about Sara.

Sara can’t be with Ian while he is married, but she can’t forget him either. Will they be able to work past everything and try a relationship? Or is it better left alone?

MOGUL is a contemporary standalone though it does have recurring characters from TYCOON.

Ian Ford is going through a nasty divorce. While in New York for business, he meets Sara, a concierge at the hotel he's staying at. They have a hot one night stand but they both want more. Can they learn to trust each other?

The beginning of this book was SMOKIN'! I mean, one night stands aren't particularly romantic or anything but Ian and Sara's chemistry was super hot. Otherwise, there's really not too much drama in the plot. It's actually a pretty light read compared to other books from Katy Evans. Which was slightly disappointing because I felt like there was so much potential for MORE.

Ian was such a groovy character! I loved how charming he was, how calm and level headed he could be but also so dominant and passionate too. I enjoyed watching him learn to trust again. Sara, on the other hand, was one of those characters that I liked but couldn't connect too well with. She seemed a little flaky at times and it was hard to take her seriously with all her back and forth and indecisiveness.

Overall, this was a sweet but oh so sexy read with an awesome alpha hottie! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Katy Evans is a master storyteller. She always crafts super romantic love stories that will always leave you swooning at the end. Though not my favorite of her novels, I thought Mogul was both charming and sexy. It takes place during the same timeline as Tycoon, so we see a few familiar characters and a behind the scenes look from that story. This is one of my favorite aspects of the novel and has me wanting to go back and read it again.

Some of the things I loved about Mogul (without giving too much away) is the fact that Ian is divorced (in the process of being) and how that affected his and Sara's relationship. I loved watching them fall in love and him learning to trust again. I also loved that Sara was a performer and was so determined and passionate about being a Broadway star. The friend group was another great aspect of the story.

I always love Katy's stories and being able to escape into them while reading. I cannot wait to read more from her and am looking forward to Becka's story. I think the idea of her meeting her 'muse' and writing a novel about him is a really interesting premise!

If you are in the mood for a steamy and romantic read, definitely check this one out!

One night stand stories aren't usually my favourite thing to read however I loved this book.

Sara's character played a huge part in why I enjoyed this book as much as I did, I LOVED her. Don't go into this thinking your getting a sweet naive young woman taken advantage of by the older man because Sara is so not like that. Their first meeting wow who knew taxi journeys could be so hot. Ian was everything I imagined , intense demanding, passionate but he's also tender sensitive and slightly vulnerable.

As with the authors previous books this was a well written well thought out book which I really enjoyed.

Katy Evans is such a great story teller. When you first open up one of her books, it's so easy to fall into the world she spins, before you know it you're reading "The End" and you don't know where the day has gone.
Sara and Ian's story was something that was completely unexpected, different and such an amazing journey. Quick and fun, sexy and angsty right from the start. Sara is smart, driven, independent with some sass and a lot of spitfire in her. Ian is your typical mogul - confident, controlled, and alpha as all get out. A chance encounter leads to chemistry and a sexual tension neither of them could escape.
The way their story weaved, the way Katy Evans brings their world to life - I completely fell in love with these two. I sat and read this story literally in one sitting. I was captivated and was eager for more. LOVED this story so much, and it was fun catching glimpses of some of her other characters as well.
I will always recommend Katy Evans books to anyone. But this book. This book it really was great. I didn't want it to end. I was glued from the very first page to the very last. DEFINITELY something you want in your library.

Another spectacular story from my dear Katy Evans. You need to know, every time I hear about Katy working on a new project, my excitement is in the sky. This woman writes beautifully.
This time, Katy brings to us Ian and Sara, who by chance share a taxi on their way to their destination. Both of them hadn’t have a good day but things immediately get better when they put their eyes on each other. And soooo good!

“Sara, this is the gentleman from room 1103.”
“Oh, yes. How can I help you, sir?”
“I’d like your panties in a little wad in my pocket and you thrashing in my bed.”
“Right away, sir.”

Ovaries explode. Fireworks shine in the sky. Firemen arrive to the scene.

“Full of yourself much?”
“So full of it I have enough to spare and get you full of me too, in a matter of seconds.”

So hot in here!

The chemistry between those two overflow the pages.
They are that kind of couple you can’t stop reading.

“I didn’t pick you; I wasn’t even looking for you. But here you are, kitten. And I want you.”

Ian is absolutely delicious and adorable at the same time. A producer with clear goals and full pockets to achieve them.
Sara is an independent woman passionate of dance, searching his opportunity on Broadway.
They are perfect together. And there’s no quote better enough than this to prove it…

We are the song and the dance, the tune and the variation, the violin and the player… the ache and the balm that heals it.

However, I miss something: Drama.
They have it in their story but I feel like it could have more drama on it. They had issues from the very beginning, and that made the story line more juice, but when I thought it could be more interesting, crying rivers and stuff… puff! None happened. Nothing of all I imagined happened. The things resolve too quickly, and even when the characters still have issues and they both were adorable on it, I don’t know, can’t connect truly and wholly and deeply with the story. And that makes me sad.
Sure enough I have a lot of fun reading. But it could be more.

I’ve learned these past months that love can be lost at any moment, but it can also be found. It can change and grow and shine and hurt, the way sometimes beauty huts. But its mark is permanent. Its power infinite. You just need to open up and let it out, because when you open those doors, love can’t help but come in.

This is an incredibly difficult review for me to write because I want to remain respectful to an author I admire hugely and I also need to be true to an honest review, because that’s who I am as a reviewer.

I simply disliked most things about this book. I found the heroine, Sara both annoying and insipid. Her admiration of Ian was pretty annoying. Her dialogue, particularly her nicknames for Ian, her own private parts and calling herself a ‘horny slut’ just pushed me over the edge. I didn’t gel with Sara at all.

Ian was fine, but he didn’t light a fire in me like so many of Katy Evans’ heroes have in the past. So as you can probably guess, these two together didn’t inspire me either.

The writing in general, again particularly dialogue, wasn’t to my taste. I think I can say MOGUL just wasn’t for me and fell flat in terms of interest and likeability. I know this is a short review, but my general disinterest means I really don’t have anything else to say. I will of course give Katy Evans another try because we have history and so I hope that the next works better for me.

I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

I love Katy Evans’ books! Tycoon was a top favorite read for me last year, so I was highly anticipating Mogul! I’m kind of sad to admit that this book was a disappointment for me. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as extraordinary as what this author had me familiarized with. In my opinion, there was not enough chemistry between the main couple; I didn’t really feel their connection until very late! A little too late!

As separate characters, I enjoyed Sara and Ian. Sara is a vibrant and determined girl! She goes for what she wants with boldness and no apologies. She does everything to make her dream of dancing in a Broadway production come true! Ian is also an interesting man. Behind his dirty talking and commanding attitude hides a man with sentiments, but hurt by love before.

Both characters were interesting. It’s the whole romance between them that had me perplex. I felt there was a lot of sexual encounters that let’s face it were hot, but no real depth of feelings between them. Overall, Mogul was good, but I was expecting so much more!

Told in first person from dual perspectives Mogul by Katy Evan includes characters from her book Tycoon. This story hits the hot early with instant chemistry "...the most sexual being I have ever known." ~ "He has lit my fire and no one can quench it but him." This Dirty Workaholic, aka hot Suit is ambitious, sexy, protective & possessive in all his perfectionist glory. It only takes one night for him to turn Sara's life upside down, but she might be the only thing to make him consider a new beginning. With raw, vulnerable romance & lessons on love learned "...love can be lost at any moment, but it can also be found. It can change and grow and shine and hurt..." Trust is put to the ultimate test, "Communication, understanding, patience, loyalty-that's the stuff that makes it last."

I enjoyed Sara, her free spirited brazenness mixed with a cautious nature, although maybe a little to cautious at times. Ian - pure alpha character that would make any girl blush. "...it was heart-stopping, toe-curling, panty-melting, and a little bit soul-wrenching--"

Intrigued to see what Becka's story holds - coming next "Yes, please, and thank you,"

Overall, I really enjoyed Mogul. I liked the intensity and playfulness between Ian and Sara. Things got hot and heavy really quick from the very beginning between them and there was no denying the chemistry. The heat was pouring off these two in waves. Ian is more than confident and it totally works for his character. He doesn’t come off as too arrogant and he definitely went after what he wasn’t quite sure what he was capable of giving in their relationship. I liked Sara but at times I got a bit annoyed with her. She rambled a lot which made the story seem repetitive at times. Aside from that I liked her quirkiness and sass. She was very bold on more than one occasion which made me admire her confidence even when she didn’t know what she would get in return. There was never a dull moment when it came to these two. I found the story to be very engaging and I look forward to reading more from Katy Evans in the future.

Well dayum let’s just say that this story starts off with a hell of a moment and it will immediately have you fanning yourself. It was hot and then some and it draws you in immediately.

Mogul is a quick read, I powered through this one very easily. It has a ton of hot AF moments, these two have chemistry that’s for sure.

Ian however has some complications and those complications had me getting a bit stabby. That aside though I loved Ian and Sara together. I definitely hoped that their hookups would progress into something more.

This story also happens to take place during the same time as Tycoon so we see some Aaric and Bryan story play out a bit in the background and it definitely brings me right back to that book as well which I absolutely loved.

Another great read from Katy. One that I easily devoured and would recommend to those look for a hot and chemistry filled book.

This is crazy, because I loved the Real series. I mean some parts of it had me like "Really?" The spider situation, slurring. *Laughing* Any way, I did love Remy Tate. Because of that I one clicked Mogul... What a mistake! The heroine is Weak, a cry baby. I hated this heroine so much. I hated the hero. I didn't really see a plot. The worse part is, No development, No growth. The ending felt incomplete.
SPOILERS!!!!!!

“Sara,” he says, sounding fierce.

I laugh and shake my head. “I’ve got my hands full of snacks; I won’t rescue you from that baby, Yummy.”

“Sweetheart,” he warns. “Help. Now.”

“You look very handsome with a baby in your arms,” I whisper.

“Don’t get any ideas.” He drags a hand restlessly along the back of his neck, but he’s smiling. And I know that one day soon, we’ll get there. He and I.

“I’m getting quite a few ideas.” I bite my lip saucily.

He reaches out to grab the back of my skull and leans over. “You drive me crazy.”

“That’s the point. My life mission.” I drop a kiss on his addictive mouth and scoop up the baby from Christos. Now I feel Ian looking at me and Bryn waggling her brows telling me, maybe we’ll be pregnant together.

This really made me mad, beyond mad actually. To force my self to read this book, That I didn't really see a plot, two annoying main characters, and even a worse ending.
Don't waste your money! Not worth it.
It did have a lot of hot scenes. Still doesn't make up for a worthless book. I am going to end this review. When I type out of anger--Not Cool-- I will stop as soon as I say this.... THIS will be the last time I one click from the author. I guess not every book can be a five star. Sad, though. Especially when you know an author has the skills to bring more. Then you one click, and read, thinking ... Okay. This is Katy Evans, It is going to pick up, I will love the characters, Just like I did Remy. Hero will stop being a Douche, Heroine will gain some strength. The ending will be good. The bam!! Nothing! Makes you want to scream , WTF Did I just read? Pointless. Disappointing when one of your authors you go to, and have given five star, banging reviews, too writes something trashy like most of the free to download kindle reads. I expected more. I really did.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.

Katy Evans created gold with this story! Ian is one of those characters that if you met him in real life you would be drooling, panting and willing to reschedule your life for him and that is not counting his looks into the equation. Sara is sweet, talented, hard working, a true and loyal friend, and scared to be heartbroken.

The characters are well developed and the story line is unique yet appropriate for today's society.

I devoured this book. Katy Evans has done it again and gave us a sexy story you will love. This was a fast paced book I read in one sitting.

I loved these characters and was excited to see some other characters from Tycoon. The chemistry between Ian and Sara was intense. You could feel the tension coming off the pages. She is smart and sassy and goes after what she wants. Ian was the full packaged and some. He is smart and loves fiercely.

I highly recommend this book.

I am always excited when Katy Evans releases a new book.

Mogul can be read as a stand-a-lone and is the story of Sara and Ian. Sara works as a concierge at a hotel and is sexually intrigued by Ian, a guest. They have a one-night stand, as Ian is still reeling from his pending divorce from his cheating wife.

Ian and Sara meet up, again and have an amazing night, but she bolts when she realizes he is still married.

This book is very hot and heavy and very fast paced. Although I enjoyed the scenes, I wanted more from the story and did feel as if something was missing.

We re-visit Bryn and Christos from Tycoon, which is a nice addition. The next story will be Becka and I am excited to see how her story develops.

I love Katy Evans’ books. Her writing always draws me in quick and fast. Mogul is about a one-night stand and what happens afterwards. Ian is a smoking hot, temperamental man who’s not looking for any kind of relationship. Sara is a spitfire who’s trying to make a career in NYC.

I really liked the two main characters and loved getting a glimpse of Aric and Bryn from Tycoon. I just felt like something was missing from the story. Maybe this was meant to be a little more erotic than the first book in the series but I just think their story could have been a little deeper.

All in all Mogul is an enjoyable read that will leave you wanting more. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book. Four stars!!

Oh my goodness, Ian Ford! In Tycoon, Sara is looking for her hot mystery man and all of a sudden, Ian is back in her life. The man is hotter than sin but of course, there is a hiccup in their road to happily ever after. Meanwhile, Sara needs to concentrate on Sara….she has a career to figure out and her parents’ issues are also taking up some space in her mind. The steamy scenes really get your blood pounding and these two obviously burn the pages up. If only they can get past the baggage these two are carrying...which seems to put a speed bump into their “relationship”. Even though they have issues this story is relatively low angst. Mostly you will enjoy the pantymelting moments that you expect from this series.

Have to say that Sara is my favourite heroine from this author. Sassy without being cliche. I absolutely loved her spunk! Ian was the best kind of BBF. Bossy, opinionated and just a little damaged. Amazing chemistry that felt very believable. Told in a dual POV which is my favourite kind and a cover that makes me drool every time I see it! Fantastic, easy read with a sweet HEA. I am intrigued for Becca's book - next in the series. Definitely recommend.

Sara Davies and Ian Ford story has been an interesting one. Sara a girl that gets into a cab with a sexy suit guy at the airport and finds herself in a situation she never believed she would ever find herself in. When Sara is appreciative, the girl gets real enthusiastic, "I lean over to his ear. “I could suck you off ten times right here,” I whisper by way of gratitude. He smiles then, his gaze wolfish." Ian loves to share his thoughts, “I don’t like it when you keep your clothes on. I like looking at you too much. I don’t want anything between you and me—especially when we eff.” I loved this book, I fell in love with Ian and Sara.

Mogul is a really good book by Katy Evans (although I'd say it isn't her best one).

We get to see two characters who meet in an unconventional situation. One night develops into something more. It comes as a surprise for them both and not at the best time. Sara and Ian are both individually strong characters who are at certain point of their lives. And reading their story was very enjoyable!

Mogul contains many steamy scenes, but I have to say that while both Sara and Ian were very sexy together, I kind of missed spark between them. At times, the book seemed to be dragging on and on.

Anyway, it's a really nice read! Go get it!

Well ladies, Katy Evans have done it again, she’s written one hell of a story that will leave you swooning.
I absolutely, positively, love, love, loved Ian and Sara’s story so darn much. It was filled with laughter, love and some very great sexy times,
I get to watch these two individuals go on a journey that brought two souls together, two souls that didn’t even know that they were looking each other.
I loved Sara so much, she was sponky, exude positivity and complemented Ian’s brooding side.
I literally devoured this book, it was inevitable because I was hooked from the very beginning..

Holy hotcakes, readers! This book is blazing with the combustible heat generated by Ian and Sara. Their story may start with a one night stand but the attraction and chemistry between the two has them meeting again and again because they simply can’t stay away from each other.

The sexy times are hot to read but what won me over are the real feelings and emotions they evoke from one another. It definitely helps that we get to read both points of views, as we discover each of their fears and insecurities, and how they overcome them to take a chance on what could be the love of their life. From simple words and touches, to grand gestures, there is romance and heat and love galore.

I highly recommend Mogul. And can you believe this was my first Katy Evans book? Me neither! Looks like I’ve got some catching up to do.
