Jennifer Probst - "Searching for You": Trapped in a snow storm together, ex-college mates Dylan McCray and Riley Fox get a chance to rekindle their passions for fighting, flirting and lusting for each other in this very steamy novella. As they both search for their happily-ever-after, they don't exactly fit into a predetermined pretty little box, but they do fit perfectly together. Now, Dylan just has to convince her of it.

Emma Chase - "It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol": Drew, Kate and the whole gang are back. When Drew makes the wrong choice on Christmas' Eve, three very personal ghosts stop by to enlighten him on the error of his ways. A hilarious spin on the classic tale that only Mr. Evans could bring to life.

Kristen Proby - "Saving Grace": Grace Douglas is as clumsy as they come. So in celebration of her best friends Cara and Lauren's engagements and preparation for their bachelorette weekend in Aspen, they got her a stay at the Snow Ghost Lodge with ski lessons. But she gets much more than that when she mistakes the super hot new hotel owner for her instructor and a steamy affair erupts between them. Jacob Baxter is instantly attracted to the pixie like woman who mistakes him for his employee. But he is having too much fun to correct her. A Love Under the Big Sky novella.

Melody Anne - "Safe in His Arms" - Snow, cold shivering wind and below freezing temperatures were not in Natalie Duncan's plans when she accepted the teaching job in Montana's small town elementary school. Neither was the very handsome, very hot Fire Chief, school pageant volunteer and her landlord Hawk Winchester. Determined to stick to her laid out plans, Natalie fought her attraction to the sexy firefighter, but Hank had other ideas. He had never felt like this before and there was no way he was leaving her alone. A funny and very hot Christmas romance by Melody Anne.

Kate Meader - "Rekindle the Flame" - Beck Dempsey couldn't believe his eyes, of all the bars in Chicago she had to walk into his. The one woman that he had been stupid enough to push away, has to get hurt in his bar. Darcy Cochrane. Now that she was here, he was not about to make the same mistake again. Darcy hoped Beck would be fat, bald and unattractive by now. But no. The man was even hotter after seven years. He still held her heart, her pulse and other parts of her stupid body. But not for long. A fun, standoff with heated tempers as two ex-lovers fight for control of their unwilling hearts and pheromone driven bodies.

I loved this anthology and decided that the best way to review it is to write few words for each of the stories. So here it is:

Searching for you

I love Jennifer Probst and her books. She always writes these sweet romantic stories with a little spice, just enough to melt your panties. Searching for … series is one of my favorites and Searching for You definitely didn’t disappoint. Riley and Dylan are so much fun. Their constant bickering is just making everything hotter. And when they finally fall in bed together … they just burn the sheets ;) I loved the whole idea of them being meant to be together but never realizing it until that moment when faith (in the form of cleverly written matching program) throws them together after ten years of separation. I can guarantee that you will enjoy this short romantic story. The perfect fit for a cold winter night.

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Story

I love Drew and Kate. Drew cracks me up every single time without fail and this short story wasn’t an exception. It was really interesting to visit the characters few year later and to see how they settled into married life. The reference to Christmas Carol was a really good idea and I loved the reminder that family and loved once should always come first. This short story is definitely recommended to all Tangled lovers. You won’t be disappointed.

Saving Grace

I floved the main characters in this story. It was fun to see a heroine who is somewhat of a klutz and not perfect at all. And Jacob… yummy – British billionaire playboy who falls the moment he sees Grace. And with that we have the perfect ingredients for a great romantic story. And of course I wasn’t disappointed. There were some quite hilarious moment that made me laugh quite hard and there were some quite hot scenes that definitely left me breathless. So I would just say that this was another perfect addition to the anthology.

Safe In His Arms

The Anderson Series is one of my favorite series and I will read pretty much everything Melody Anne writes. Well, Hawk and Natalie didn’t disappoint. It was definitely interesting to see how to completely different personalities fall in love against all odds. It was for sure fun to read about Hawk’s fall from the playboy bachelor lines and it was really great to see short glimpses of the lives of some of my favorite characters from other Melody Anne books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this short story and can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this series.

Rekindle The Flame

This is the first book I read by Kate Meader but definitely it’s not going to be the last one. This is a short heartfelt story about love lost and found, about what it takes to be who you are, no matter of other people’s opinion. I loved Beck and Darcy and the whole fated to be together vibe of the story. It was great to see their reunion after year being apart and finding their way back to each other. The feeling of strong family values was a great touch and I would love to read more about the Dempsey brothers and the people who are going to fulfill their lives. This is definitely a good story to relax during a cold winter night.

As a whole this is a great anthology by some of the best author out there. You won't be disappointed if you decide to dive into it during the cold winter nights.

It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol
Emma Chase - 5 Hearts

I just can not get enough of Drew and the rest of the Tangled gang! This novella is in Drew's POV and I just love the way he thinks and talks to you like you are right there. So funny.

It's Christmas Eve and Drew just had to get some last minute shopping in but worse than that was he had to go to work. Kate is not happy about this especially after giving him one of her gifts. Drew has to be in the office for a conference which can make the company a lot of money so he does what he feels he has to do...prepare in his office.

What Drew does not expect is to be visited by a few woman that night that will show him his past, present and future. Yes...A Christmas Carol! Of course it will be a funny, sweet, sexy and a lesson learning one because it's Drew and he is amazing. He is also stubborn so can these woman get Drew back on track in time for Christmas with his family?

I thought this was an awesome idea for novella for Drew and his family. Emma never fails to make me more in love with him with each book. And Kate is kick ass too.

Quotes:

"Well I've tried to be nice, but every time I look at you, the naughty just takes over."

"You're an a**hole!"
"A fact you were well aware of before you married me." I shrug. "No take-backs."

"Picasso has his clay, Rembrandt has his brushes-- I have my cock. Every true artist has a favorite tool. And you can't rush fine art."

***SAVING GRACE
Kristen Proby - 5 Hearts

Kristen Proby and her books rock!

Grace and her friends are going to Aspen in the near future but first this self called klutz needs to learn how to ski so her friends spend her up the mountain close to home for a weekend of lessons. And they hope a fling with a hot ski instructor which is possible...

When Grace heads over to meet her ski instructor and maybe a student she is in awe of his sexiness. She has a quick wit and they go off for her first lesson. Jacob is surprised at how much he is enjoying giving Grace her lesson and wants to know her better, much better. But he needs to let her know him a little better first. Does Grace have it in her to have a weekend fling? Is Jacob more than he appears to be?

This was a fast, fun, flirty and sexy read. I loved that Grace was clumsy, horrible with accents and just real. Jacob is sexy, sweet and British!

Quotes:

Holy Jesus on a stick, the man has a British accent. Cue the wet panties.

For the first time in a long time, I'm enjoying a woman's company when she is fully clothed.

"I'm just trying to blend in. I am a chameleon."

I loved all the stories in this anthology. Each one was full of passion, holiday cheer (for the most part), and love. I laughed while reading each story and this book has certainly help put me in the holiday mood, although I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving first. I'd like to share a little about each story and what I thought about it.

I loved how Jennifer Probst's story was sort of a spin-off her fabulous Searching For series. I really enjoyed seeing the ladies of Kinnections and seeing their reactions to this implausible match. The chemistry between Dylan and Riley was off the charts! I do love a second chance story!

In Emma Chase's story, I was absolutely thrilled to see Drew and Kate. Emma writes a beyond amazing male point of view. She does it so well, you can't help but adore Drew, even with his silly man ways. I loved the play on A Christmas Carol and the message this story conveyed. I know this series is ending, but I can't hope I'll be reading about Drew, Kate, James, and their shenanigans for years to come.

Kristen Proby always writes fabulous stories, and this one featuring Grace, from the Love Under the Big Sky series is no different. I absolutely loved her attitude and sense of humor. Being almost as clumsy as she is, I could easily relate to her. Jacob Baxter is hot, but I really liked how amazing their chemistry was.

Melody Anne is quickly becoming an author I must read. In her hot but sweet story, the town matchmakers/busybodies were trying to pair up Hawk and Natalie, the new teacher in town. I loved seeing them go back and forth and try to work around their rules and plans to "see" each other. I think Natalie was adorable and I can't wait to read the other books in this series!

I'm familiar with some of Kate Meader's novels. I love a second chance story and this one was perfect. I loved how Beck and Darcy matured in the years they were apart. I also loved how independent and fierce Darcy was. And her grandmother was a hoot! I loved the ending of this story. I'm really looking forward to reading about hot firemen!

What a fabulous anthology! Fans will be delighted and it’s a great opportunity for readers unfamiliar with these authors to discover them at their best!

I love Jennifer Probst and with Searching for you, she reminded me why, and I love her even more! Sexy, fun, and what great characters! Super!

I laughed my head off reading Emma Chase’s story; Kate Meader made me swoon; I fell in love with Melody Grace’s delightful characters, and became an instant Kristen Proby fan!

I absolutely loved Baby It’s Cold Outside. It gives readers more from their favorite characters and authors. I was also introduced to a few writers I hadn’t had the pleasure of reading yet. I am a sucker for Christmas stories, and loved the brevity of these novellas. This compilation provided variety and stories that held my attention, satisfied my need for romance, and had me smiling page after page. These stories are the perfect bundle to warm you on a cold winter day.

I am a huge fan of anthologies, especially when they are well written. This was a charming collection of love stories centered around the winter season, and I really enjoyed reading each one.

Each story offered completely different characters with strong women and I think those are wonderful stories to read.

The stories were written by five talented authors, Jennifer Probst, Emma Chase, Kristen Proby, Melody Anne, and Kate Meader. The stories are short and sweet and just an around good read.

I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great anthology to get you into the Christmas spirit (even in November). I have to admit, I was pretty excited when I started to read this, and saw there was a novella about Drew and Kate by Emma Chase. This has to be one of my favorite series of all time. I was not disappointed at all with the novella. I don't know how she does it, but I love every single story she tells. This one is about Drew working on Christmas Eve. In a brilliant way, he sees himself in a Scrooge like story, and sees what he is dong wrong. It was comical and heartwarming at the same time. And, again, the story is told through Drew's point of view. Drew makes everything better!

Kristen Proby did an awesome job telling the story about a girl who gets ski lesson and then falls for her instructor. But if you know Kristen Proby, you know it is not that simple. I really loved the chemistry between the 2 in this book. She was a klutzy girl and he was a British millionaire who actually owns the ski lodge.

The whole books was a series of fanatic novellas that put you in a great holiday mood!! I would read it again!!

First I will give you my individual review of each book. Then I will give you my overall review.

Jennifer Probst

OMG I have read every book Jennifer has written. And with each book I fall more and more in love with her stories.
Riley Fox what can I say about her. She is a strong woman who owns her own business. She worked hard all her life until one day she realized she was missing something. A family of her own.
Dylan McCray oh I wish he was real and all mine. He is sexy and just as hard workings Riley. But is mistaken for someone such as a playboy.
Both has signed up at Kinnections wanting to find their one. Both went into the date blinded just to come together already knowing each other from college. Both having a strong connection come together all because of a snow storm.
I give this story five stars.

Emma Chase

This was the first story from Emma Chase I have read. For a novella I love it. I loved how angry Drew was at Christmas shopping cause we all feel like that on Christmas Eve. I especially loved the fact she mentioned my home town Yonkers.
I love how she made her story just like Ebenezer Scrooge. I think that was a great idea.
There were certain part of this story that made my heart stop and eyes tear.
This was a great read and I give it five stars.

Kristen Proby

Although I have heard of Kristen Proby this is the first story of hers that I have read.
I love the fact she mistakes Bax as her ski instructor. Gracie's reaction when she figured out the truth was perfect.
The intensity of these two were spot on. I loved how he got tired of waiting and went to her.
Kristen did a fabulous job and I give her story five stars.

Melody Anne

I just love Melody Anne. And safe in her arms just made me love her more.
Natalie-I love how she had goals set for her future. She is a strong woman who knows what she wants. She didn't plan on it but she found her love faster.
Hawk-I swear I can never have just one book boyfriend. They just get better and better. I mean who doesn't love a firefighter and a volunteer? Or a man who thought he wanted someone else but found that she was there.
I love how Natalie ad Hawk was brought together. They ended perfectly.
I so recommend this read. I give it five stars.

Kate Meader

This was the first story of Kate's that I have read. I will say this, I will be checking out more of her work.
Darcy is a woman who grew up with men trying to control her. But in a way they thought was best. While at sixteen she fell in love but with in a month she was broken. Years late she came back stronger. And since I have 22 tattoos myself I loved the fact she was a tattoo artist.
Beck. Now who doesn't love a hot firefighter? He was a foster child. Used to be in a gang until the Dempsey family took him in. Met a girl fell in love and with in a month he let her go. Years later she shows up and found out he still had love for her.
I so give this story five stars.
I would also like to add that I love this quote "God created firefighters so cops could have hero's to."

Overall Review

I have known two out of the five authors from this box set. So I knew their stories were going to be amazing. I was so right. The other three I have heard of just never had the chance to check out their work till now.
Each author here brought their own creativity to this book. Each story always left me wanting more. Through each book my blood boiled and I sat on the edge of my seat.
I highly recommend you all check out "Baby It's Cold Outside." I have a feeling you'll fall in love like I did.

An anthology right up the season. The best part for me — it features 3 of my favorite authors and it let me discovered 2 authors that needs to be added to my go-to list.

Searching for You. JPro’s story about second chance encounter which has a connection with her Searching Series. This might have been my second favorite out of the five. Riley and Dylan has just that chemistry. This story has me grinning all through out.

It’s A Wonderful Tangled Christmas. Emma Chase’s extended story about Kate and Drew — the two main characters in Tangled Series and one of my favorites! This by far is my favorite. Why? ‘Cause it made me cry! As usual, Drew is a jerk and it actually took 4 visits from some amazing characters for him to realize his mistake! Gawd, baby James is not a baby anymore. Can we please have another book for them? haha! PS: Who is the first angel?

Saving Grace. KPro’s story about a clumsy heroine + sexy brit = yummy story. The things wedding + snow + holidays can do! <3 Though, I guess I was a bit put off when with how fast the phasing of the story was. But then again, this is just a novella with a happy ending!

Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne. I love matchmakers! They are super adorable and knows how to plot that certainly ends in a happy ending. If I thought that Saving Grace has a fast phase, this is much more fast phased. But I am now in search for the other novels by her.

Rekindle Flame by Kate Meader. A second chance romance between two people who have finally found who they want to be. Now, I’m not sure if the story is holiday-ish enough. But Brett Faraday is a hottie to look out for!

To the ladies who made this anthology possible, thank you so much for coming up with this brilliant idea!

To InkSlinger PR, thank you so much for the opportunity.

The perfect read to enjoy as the weather turns colder. There’s a little something for everyone with these five fun, sexy novellas.

“Searching for You” by Jennifer Probst gives us Riley and Dylan stranded in a snowstorm. I liked that they had history and weren’t the strangers they expected to meet on their match up.

“It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol” by Emma Chase was a fun way to catch up with Drew and Kate. I love reading from Drew’s POV.

I loved “Saving Grace” by Kristen Proby. I didn’t want this story to end. I loved Grace and Bax.

“Safe in His Arms” by Melody Anne is a sweet read. I thought Natalie and Hawk were so cute and very likable.

“Rekindle the Flame” by Kate Meader has a hot not to be missed firefighter. I couldn’t help but pull for Beck and Darcy.

I really liked all the stories in this anthology. I loved that some of them were stories that fit in with existing series. I can’t wait to pick up more stories by these authors.

I wanted this anthology specifically for Jennifer Probst’s contribution, but ended up loving all of the other stories as well.
Fans of the Searching For series will really enjoy this novella. It’s a great illustration that it really is a thin line between love and hate.
All of the stories in the compilation were easy stand-alone stories, even though most were part of an existing series.

An excellent anthology of short stories, each as romantic and satisfying as the next. The publishers have showcased a number of authors, offering a glimpse at their writing styles. A great chance to scoop up a seasonal book containing your favorites or to discover, as I did, some new writers.

I would review each book singularly but they would all say the same thing - Excellent, brilliant, heartwarming!!! Each story tugged at my little Grinch heart - I am not a fan of Christmas coming too early - December 24th is early enough for me!

If you read one Christmas/Winter anthology please ensure it is this one. Although most of these stories are spin off's from current series - you can easily read each one without having needed to have read any of the other books.

Kate Meader was the only new author to me - I have read all of Jennifer, Emma & Kristens books and most of Melody's (that's alot of books!). I shall be seeking out more by Kate and look forward to the continuation of the Chigago FD Engine 6 boys stories.

Emma Chase - It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol
A must-read for Tangled fans. I loved it, but then again, I am slightly prejudiced because I loved the entire Tangled series... every novel, novella and free story written. It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol was short, but still very entertaining as only Drew can be. Enjoy!

Some of my favorite authors in one HOTTTT anthology. What more could I want?!??

This was one super sexy read with exciting characters. Filled with smoking hot chemistry and many delicious sex scenes that will melt your panties, there was never a dull moment. The men in this anthology are to die for and I have to admit I was a bit jealous of the gorgeous ladies who got to spend their nights cuddling up to them.

If you are looking for a great Christmas read to spice up your holiday season, this is definitely the one to grab.

Searching for you

A quick cute story of polar opposites who make no sense on paper but when they get stuck in a cabin during a snowstorm prove that opposites attract just like Paula Abdul said.

It's a wonderful tamed Christmas

A quick but hysterical and touching update on my favorite couple. Told from Drew’s POV he has his ghost of Christmas past moments to see what he is risking by choosing to work on Christmas Eve.

Saving Grace

Another great story from one of my favorite authors. This book had me laughing hysterically and fanning myself throughout. Grace is a klutz with an amazing sense of humor. Jacob is a billionaire ski resort owner. They meet when Grace mistakes him for her ski instructor. Hilarity ensues as she tries again and again to stay on her feet and master his British accent. The only downside to this book is that it was a novella and I wish it had been longer so I could have enjoyed their romance more.

Safe in his arms

Told from both POVs but you hear more from Natalie than Hawk. I liked the idea of this book but it left me feeling like a huge gap in their story was missing. One chapter they were at a school pageant, fresh off their first date and the next he was proposing. They hadn't even told each other they cared about each other yet. I think it could have been a great book with at least one additional chapter to bridge that gap.

Rekindle the flame

Loved this one. Fiesty tattooed Darcy runs into her old flame Beck after 7 years. He broke her heart then and her walls are to thick to let it happen again. What she wasn't expecting was that this firefighter breaks down walls for a living to get to what he wants. Hot, sweet and worth the read. I will be adding this author to my list for sure.

Since this book is an anthology, each story is short. But, that being said, each story was well developed and the characters were complete. I enjoyed each story and they were all written by authors that are some of my favorites. In some of the stories, such as the one by Kate Meader, it was the first of a series so to me, it was a must read.
