There's a lot about this book that bothers. There's a flat attempt to explore the psychology of d/s but it honestly felt like an outsider writing some fantasy story without doing the research needed to give the subject matter the respect of accurate representation.

Good read but too short. Should have combined at least two stories per book. The story captures you and is definitely hot but the moment things start to get good they stop and u have to buy another book. That is a bit annoying.

Its a great erotic start but really its only a taste. I think the author/publisher is greedy because this book is like a sample and you have to keep buying to get anymore from it. I really hate books that do that. It doesn't even count as a series because it just quits right in the middle.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. It's just plain smut. The story line is full of predictability and clichés. If you want smut then by all means go for it. If you are looking for a hot story I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

For me this book is an OK read. To compare it to other books in the genre it lacks the WOW factor to make me want to read is a second time and I seriously doubt I even want to get the second book in the series.

Mild erotica? Really? At least it isn't vulgar or demeaning. Our hero is the "strong silent type"without a doubt. And our heroine is in need of either discipline or simply some rules of behavior, since apparently the hippies of my generation didn't supply this basic need to their children. I find combining father figures and lovers to be confusing, but to each his own, I guess. It's free on the store, so try it and see if you like it. You may be as surprised as I am.

A short beginning to obviously a longer series. Quite a teaser, but not enough for me to get the others. Happy this was free as obviously the writer works at keeping the suspense in the story and trying to pull you in. Writing is good, no obvious spelling or grammatical mistakes but not enough lenght to pull me in for 8-9 more books.
