I meant to download the sample but accidentally purchased the book, I am soon glad I did. This is the first I have read in this series but I loved it. I will definitely be purchasing the rest of them as soon as possible.

Every time I read one of these books, I actually don't read....I devour. The Six Pack Ranch is sweet and sexy and it has quickly become one of my favorite cowboy series! I love it more and more with every book and glimpse of this big family.

Joel is one of the twins. Yes, those twins. The bad boys, womanizers who liked to share. But Joel wants more out of life and wants to break of that reputation and lifestyle. Vicki is not exactly the right way to do it. She's one of the Hansol girls and they have a reputation for being easy.

Vicki is not like her sisters, but she's spunky and a bit wild. She's lived with the shadow of her family's reputation for too long and now just wants out of the area. But to do that she may need to get over her fear of horses.

She enlists Joel's help with that and while they make the rules of that arrangement they decide to pretend to be a couple. See Vicki is a virgin and wants to get rid of that while experiencing some passion she's never had. Joel wants to show the town he can go steady with one girl without his brother.

I wasn't too crazy about the repeat theme of the pretend girlfriend but Ms. Arend made it work in a completely different way. These two went into knowing they would end up in bed together but took their time getting there. They got to know each other and clicked right away.

It was sweet and believable to see them falling in love. I might've fallen in love with Joel a bit myself. But I also loved Vicki. She's strong and determined and not afraid to say what she means and go for what she wants.

Another superb winner from Ms. Arend that left me sighing from happiness and anxious for more!

Joel was not his usual self with his twin anymore. The would have their threesome romp around, but it wasn't what Joel wanted anymore. Now Vicky, on the other hand, never had anyone to share anything with. She came from a family that the women were loose. She wasn't anything like her mother and sister. She was actually still pure. She had gotten herself a job which meant working with horses. She was terrified of them. Her and Joel had an agreement to clean up their reputations and to get rid of her fear. Their arrangements worked well even with some of the distractions that came across their paths. There were other very interesting lessons involved that were not in the original agreement.

Once again, just loved this story of another of the Coleman clan. Joel, one-half twin of Jesse, and Vickie, a beautiful young woman with a secret past she just can't seem to shake develop a relationship. It's not easy, especially for Vickie, who has to deal with the backlash of her mother and sisters life choices.

But the biggest challenge they all had to face was Jesse's unwillingness to recognize that they had to change, grow, even if it meant a temporary parting of company.

Things get really hairy in this well-done story. I'm on to book 6.

I wanted to know more about Joel after reading the last book so I was excited that this book was dedicated to him. The fact that he was paired with Vicki, was icing on the cake. I enjoy reading about strong, mindful, sexy women and the fact that Joel accepts her as is just made the story that much better. This whole series is addictive, if I'm being honest, so now on to the next...

WOW! Just finished another great book! I love that the "youngest" brother wanted to get out from beneath his brothers, especially his twin - but unfortunately that came with a steep price. I love the story of Joel & Vicky. She came from a bad family & wants to protect her sister so she takes the criticism from everyone because of her family dynamics. Joel takes on her requests & promptly falls in love with her. I am happy that these two finally admitted their feelings for each other so they can get their happily ever after. Good job Vivian! I would recommend this book.
