When her ex becomes a problem, Officer Trance Spurlock saves the day. He is not only her friend but also a man that she is interested. Trance is always there when she needs him and is extremely protective where she is concerned. Is it possible that he feels the same interest that she does?

Trance is a member of the Dixie Wardens MC and also a K-9 Officer for the Benton Police Force. When Trance hears the call for assistance at Viddy’s home, he immediately responds. What he finds turns his blood cold. Viddy’s ex standing naked over her bed and smelling her panties. She had hidden under her bed when she heard him climb in through her kitchen window and called for help. Now he knew that she was his and he would do whatever was needed to keep her safe. All he had to do now was convince Viddy and put his past behind him.

Would I recommend this book: Yes! Hot, sexy policeman with handcuffs takes on a spunky teacher that will teach him the facts of life! When you add in some really sizzling scenes, this is a must read!

This was my first book by Lani. I actually started in the middle of the series but I will be going back to read the first 2 now. I didn’t have any problems at all picking up in the middle of the series because each book is a standalone. But now that I have read this I want to definitely meet the other characters. This book was fantastic and deservers all 5 stars!!!

When the book starts Viddy is with this awful man Paul who refuses to help with a huge problem she has come across. She calls Trance right away and of course he comes right there to help her. The first few pages of this book had tears running down my face. It broke my heart for Viddy and I don’t know what I would do in her situation.

So in this book Viddy is actually blind. Viddy and her twin sister were in a horrible accident at 16 which caused Viddy to lose her vision. Slowly throughout the years some of Viddy’s vision comes back. Love how she gets so excited when she can see again.

Trance is a cop and he is also a part of a motorcycle club. Most MC books I read focus on club business and the wild life of the guys. But this book mainly focused on Trance as a cop and I loved it.

There are tons of other characters in this book I loved including both of Trance’s brothers and Viddy’s sister and the other brothers of the club. Trance has fought his feelings for Viddy for long time because of his past. But when he finally let’s his guard down the sparks fly between these too. I loved every minute. It has an amazing storyline, lots of laugh of loud moments, some hot steamy scenes, lots of dirty talk, and of course lots of problems that get in the way for these two. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read this first two and patiently wait on the next one.

I think The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC Series just keeps getting better! Kevlar To My Vest was the latest one that I have read and of course another great book to read! This isn't a Motorcycle Club book that you should be scared of. Most of the MC books that I have read have a "Dark Theme" this series DOES NOT! While I actually love "Dark Theme" books it was nice to read a lighter, very sexy MC book!

This book is Viddy's and Trance's story! Viddy is Adeline's twin sister (Adeline's story was told in
Halligan to My Axe, book 2) Trance (with his beautiful 2 different colored eyes) is a Sexy Cop! Viddy is blind from an accident that she and Adeline had when they were younger and it took Viddy's eyesight away. I love Trance's & Viddy's story! I won't be able to say more because I don't do spoilers but, I would highly recommend this book and series! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Story of Trance and Viddy

Viddy is the sister of Addy who is married to Kettle.

Viddy is blind well was sort of is but her sight is slowly coming back.

At the start Viddy has a boyfriend Paul who is an a*(&()**&e to her treats her like crap. She has been dating him for about a year and then she finally breaks up with him.

Trance has had a thing for Viddy for a while but she had a boyfriend so he never done anything about it and he isn't sure if she would be interested in him because his a cop and has a dangerous job.

Trance is part of the MC with the other boy.

Trance and Viddy hang out a bit they bond over there dogs and things Progress further when her home is broken into by her ex-boyfriend Paul.
Viddy and Trance go through lots of ups and downs and have danger lurking around them thanks to her mentally screwed up ex-boyfriend.
As always the MC have their backs and are always there to add protection but sometimes it's not enough and there are times when someone's not there, is this the time that Viddy really needs them?
Will they come through the other end?

Trance and Viddy go to Vegas and get wasted not remembering what they do until the next day which is quite funny and what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.

We didn't mind this book we don't think it was as good as the second but it still held our attention. Lani is a good writer and we look forward to reading the next book to see which MC it will be!!!

If you have been following this series you know how great Lani Lynn Vale is, her writing is great and her story is amazing. Through each book I pick a new book boyfriend and this book was no different. Let me introduce you to Trance, a K-9 officer, who is one hot alpha male with a heart of pure gold. When Trance meets Viddy in Halligan to my Axe you can instantly see the connection but I was always curious as to why Viddy stayed with her boyfriend and Trance didn’t work harder to win her heart. Well in this book you sure find out.

I loved how Viddy didn't let her blindness define who she was, she grabbed life by the horns and went for a ride. I loved how Trance accepted that she was blind and didn't try to "fix" her but allowed her to remain the independent women she is. That ex boyfriend, Paul, let me tell you what, that guy drove me nuts. How she stayed with that man for so long I just don't understand but lets just say it all works out in the end.

This story was full of action that kept me wanting to read more. I fell in love with Trance’s brother, Foster and Miller. I wonder if they will get a story, that would be one I would love to read. I am so glad that this story ended the way it did and I can’t wait to see what Lani comes up with next.

Trance and Viddy's relationship was hot as hell. I loved how this story wasn't about sex but about their lives and what they went through when the going got tough. Viddy's ex was a douche and she had enough. She has feelings for Trance but he didn't know. He has feeling for her but she didn't know. When circumstances brought them together Trance's protective side came out. When the two of them are thrown together their passion ignites and their love blossoms. However with every story there is always drama and I won't reveal what that is. But will say this book kept me riveted to the spot and I couldn't put it down.

Trance and Viddy are an awesome couple. I love that she isn’t the normal perfect heroine, but she actually has a visual impairment due to a traumatic brain injury. It makes her character more real and easier to relate to. Trance is all alpha with a sweet side and a K9 that will melt your heart. Lani Lynn Vale did it again, she captured my heart with the couple and had me hanging on and wanting for more. This is a great read, and I’d highly recommend it.

This story was great. Although there was not a lot of possessiveness, the love scenes were HOT! I loved where this story took the 2 main characters. I liked how Viddy took charge of her feelings in claiming her man. There was also lots of humor in this story between Viddy and Addy, and also with Trance's brothers. I loved the addition of those 2 and hope they will each get their own story. There was lots of drama in this story, and as couple twists I didn't see coming. Really looking forward to the next installment and seeing where it leads!

These characters really make me smile. Trance and Viddy were great together and I loved how they seemed to smoothly fall into a sweet yet sexy but at times so funny relationship. Trance had some inconsistencies in the beginning. . going from saying he was head over heels to saying he didn't want to give his heart to her and .. well his ex and how he let her cause drama.. irritated me. But all in all I loved it and will jump into the next asap.
