Mig’s a member of The Uncertain Saints MC, he’s also married and has a baby on the way. His neighbor, a sassy masseuse named Annie, has caught Mig’s attention. Attention a married man should not be giving to any woman but his wife. But Mig’s marriage was not one made under normal circumstances. Now he just has to resist his neighbor or get himself out of his sham of a marriage fast.
Annie has the hots for her sexy, motorcycling driving neighbor. There’s only one thing keeping her from letting said sexy biker know her feelings. Ok one major thing, that sexy of a man is married and his beautiful wife is also expecting what will obviously be a beautiful baby. So yeah any hope of getting her hot sexy neighbor to fall madly in love with her is out the door. Or is it? Annie soon learns the truth to Mig’s marriage situation and finds herself with hope and gunning for her hot sexy biker.
Mig & Annie are by far one of the most interesting couple that I’ve had the pleasure to read about. For one the lead male character Mig is married! And the female love interest, Annie is his neighbor! Getting to see Mig & Annie interact with each other at times was torture for me. Poor Annie witnessing the man she loves living the life she dreams of having with him. Mig’s story was a hard pill to swallow. Without giving to much away or adding a spoiler alert I can only say that Mig is a rarity in mankind. Very few men would have committed to and stood in the relationship he found himself trapped in. Getting to see Mig & Annie’s relationship develop throughout the book was great to read. It was a slow and steady pace with not once having the feeling of Mig cheating on his wife. If anything at all Mig’s wife needed to be slapped and maybe thrown in a deep ditch. Ok maybe not thrown but you’ll totally understand my hostility once you get to read about the lovely Jennifer. This book as promised, has brought to us the readers a brand new group of Alpha males to love! Jack & Coke was a smooth read with some interesting plot twists throughout the book. Some that I never saw coming and others I was happy to read. I give this read a 5 star rating and say it’s a must TBR. Hurry and add it to your list.

Another fantastic read from Lani Lynn Vale! Mig is a DEA officer, a member of The Uncertain Saints MC, and very unhappily married to a witch of a woman who lies, cheats, and steals to get her way. Although he can't quite remember the night they spent together, he finds out the baby she's pregnant with is his, so he married her. He's just barely existing until he meets his neighbor Annie, who shows him that not all women are evil. She's fallen in love with him, but Annie's no cheater so she tries to say goodbye to him. She wants it all or nothing, but Mig refuses to let her go. When a new enemy tears his life apart, will Annie and his brothers be able to help him put it back together?
I loved every minute of this story, so I devoured it in one sitting. The character development is great, with an entertaining cast of secondaries. A fast paced, exciting, and well written storyline flows smoothly. Lani Lynn Vale brilliantly writes twists and turns that make for exceptional OMG moments that come from left field. Her talented writing style reeled me in from the very first paragraph, and kept me on my toes cover to cover. The simmering chemistry bubbles below the surface until it finally ignites into fiery flames of sexy scene goodness that gave me hot flashes. There's not a book that she's written that I haven't absolutely loved, and I'm always waiting for the next one to come out with bated breath. Bottom line, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the second book in the Uncertain Saints MC series. They are stand alones. Lani Lynn Vale is one of my must read authors. I don’t even need to read the synopsis, I just one-click. I haven’t been disappointed yet!
This wasn’t what I was expecting. It does deal with a rape, but it isn’t a female character. It was a female rapist though. So that was something different.
Mig is a hot DEA agent. He is interested in his neighbor, Annie. Unfortunately, he’s married to Jennifer and she’s pregnant. He didn’t want to marry her, but his morals made him.
Annie has wanted Mig since the day he rode into town. And now they are neighbors. She won’t take things farther than a friendship though.
Don’t worry, there isn’t any cheating in this book. There’s only a psycho manipulative bitch, an ex-husband, and a drug dealer.
Like all the previous Lani books, the intros to the chapters had me laughing.
“Dildo: the original selfie stick.”
“Almost every hand you’ve ever shaken has had a d*** in it at some point.”
“Ladies, if you see a man eating BBQ wings with a knife and fork, it’s likely he doesn’t eat p**** right either. Run. Don’t look back. You can thank me later.”

How could you not hate someone that literally stabs you in the back time and time again? You do what you consider the right thing but it's making you totally miserable. There's only so much that one person can take before they say enough is enough and that two wrongs don't make a right.
Once Mig decides what it is what he really wants, he wastes no time making it happen. Annie knows what she wants, she's not a push over, she's a strong person and has a mind of her own. It seems like every time they turn around there is more obstacles in the way for them to be together.
This book is a hot steamy read, with drug dealers, douche ex's, funny, oh no and oh yes moments. You get to meet Annie's sister, Tornado Tasha, and Casten (Mig's MC brother). I'm already rubbing my hands together waiting on their book.
As with all of Lani's books, I just about read it all at once because I'm so absorbed in it. If I don't throw dinner in the crock pot before I start reading, dinner's going to be pizza rolls. It's another great book from her and I can't wait to read the next book. Thankfully as fast as she writes it won't be very long at all.

I LOVED this new addition to The Uncertain Saints series! It was filled with angst, danger, swoon, secrets & it was smokin’ HOT!! The sizzling chemistry between Mig & Annie kept me flipping the pages until the wee hours of the morning. LOVED them together!
Mig was so easy to fall in love with, even if I couldn’t stand the whole “pushing-her-away-to-keep-her-safe” crap that he pulled; much like Griffin did in Whiskey Neat. I loved the way he loved Annie; how he looked out for her when they weren’t together, how her name was the first thing out of his mouth when s*** hit the fan & how he sexed her up in & out of the bedroom. *fans herself* I’m not sure that he dealt with things with Jennifer the best way but it doesn’t change the fact that you couldn’t help but feel for the guy with what he went through.
Annie was fan-freakin-tastic & my favorite character in the book! She kinda reminded me of Lenore in Whiskey Neat, which I was really happy about. She was protective of those she loved, her “mission mode” to grab her man’s attention was on point & her sense of humor was great. Watching the Facebook feed video, channeling her inner Chatty Cathy when she got buzzed & refusing to stop screwing Mig with Jennifer pounding on her door… Well, that made Annie all-sorts-of-awesome. Loved her to pieces & totally admired her for sticking with Mig through thick & thin.
What brought it down a half star for me was Jennifer. She drove me absolutely crazy & I felt not one iota of sympathy for her, unlike a couple of the characters. I’m surprised my eyeballs aren’t stuck in the back of head because I rolled them so many times when someone catered to her every whim. I mean, something adorable came out of it (rather, her) but still…
Jennifer stuff aside, I’m super happy with how things turned out for Mig & Annie. You could truly feel the passion they shared with one another through the kindle screen & it felt so damn good.
Very much looking forward to the next book in the series, Vodka on the Rocks! Casten is a mysterious guy & I wanna see what makes him tick… and who’s gonna tick him off. I’m thinking it just might be a Garcia sister! :)

Jack & Coke is the second installment of the Uncertain Saints MC series and is just as gritty as the first book in the series, and just as fantastic! It seems as if this series is also going to tackle taboo issues - this book took on male rape and did it incredibly well. Male rape is not a subject that I have spent any time thinking about prior to this book but the way it was covered broke my heart, and will be something that I think of for a long time to come. I love that despite the circumstances of how he was brought into the world, Mig loved his son with all of his being. I love how strong Annie was as well, and how accepting she also was of the situation. This book was full of twists and turns, and packed with action from the very first page. I cannot recommend this highly enough and cannot wait to see what happens in the next book in the series!

This is the second book in the Uncertain Saints series, and can be read as a stand-alone. I will say, I definitely enjoyed this book better than the first one in the series.
Mig is DEA, tough, street smart, a fighter, and somewhat dumb for all that if you ask me. He was taken advantage of by his “wife”, who is a real piece of work. And never seems to be able to truly stand up for himself.
Annie is a down to earth, wacky, smart mouthed individual who has a great big heart.
They have both been in love with the other for quite some time, but were unable to pursue their attraction. Now, finally, they are both free to start a relationship and suddenly the two of them find themselves embroiled in some dangerous business, thanks to Mig’s “wife”. Can they survive the dangers chasing them, and find their way to their happy?
The main plot, the reason why the drug lord wanted to some dirt on Mig, could have been fleshed out a little more. I would have liked a little more background of why the book was called Jack and Coke other than the brief paragraph at the end. But, I did catch the inference.
All in all, the plot kept moving, and was intriguing enough to keep you guessing at what the next move might be. It was an entertaining read, and suspenseful enough that it kept you turning the pages and reading to the very end. I’d definitely recommend this book. I’m waiting for the next one in the series, now that I’m hooked on the men from Uncertain Saints. Tough guys with hearts of gold. The kind of man every woman wants to call her own.

MUST READ story!!!! I really enjoyed reading this plus as always you got to meet more of the other characters and get a feel for whom might be next!! That I'm dying to know, as much as I loved Mig and Annie's story this one really was a shocking story and to write about something that might bother others was truly a huge leap of faith and courage to write about. It's a heart aching story that is filled with love and hope. Take it from me it's a hell of a page turner that's for sure. I can't wait to see what is next. So worth 5 stars the flow and story line are just one of the many great things about this story, it's an eye opener, edge of seat read.

Please note... this review may come across as negative, when in fact, I did enjoy the story -- however, upon reflection, I had more critical thoughts than the flowers-and-candy kind...
After Whiskey Neat, I had high hopes for this particular book. The former had holes and style issues that left my wanting more, but I held out for this next book because the lead-in for Annie and Migs had me excited.
And for the most part, the little issues I had previous were cleared up (namely the Jack & Coke reference), but where the writing had flow previously, I found myself wanting more in Ms. Vale's writing style this go-round. Immediately, we're thrown into a suspenseful situation, and it simply felt off. The familiarity that Ms. Vale wrote of Annie and Migs was more dating-for-some-time than simply the friends that they were.
I also became increasingly annoyed with Migs's continuous reference to 'his wife'. While I did read the previous book, and the synopsis spells it all out more than enough, I personally think that starting the story out with his thoughts of his wife and why he's with her and why he hates her, all before laying on Annie and his body reacting... He wouldn't have come across as such an eighteen year old player. As it was, he was written as either strong and protective (and gah, I loved him in those moments), or a man with no backbone -- however that works.
That said.
I did enjoy Migs and Annie. They were both complex characters who had a crappy hand dealt to them. The plot itself was well-thought out, and like the book before, the suspense line was extremely well written considering I found parts of the rest lacking. The epilogue made their relationship seem very happy and butterflies, and was actually very cute.
Unfortunately for the indie world, this is the kind of book that screams 'self-published'. There were style points that felt repetitive and quite honestly, the synopsis is a long summary of the book. I feel that, while Ms. Vale has a following with her readers and she has a number of books out, she could grow exponentially with better attention to detail and flow.

“My eyes crossed, and I grabbed onto the first thing I could read, which happened to be Mig’s ears. He didn’t seem to mind, though. Instead, he growled louder as I started to pant.”
5 sinfully sexy stars!! Lani has done it again, I’ve fallen in love with another one of her books!!
Sexy and hot don’t begin to even cover how steamy this book is!!! Mig is the absolute alpha book boyfriend; strong, brooding and sexy as sin!! His love affair with Annie is explosive, but there’s so much more to their love! I love a great MC story and this one is so much more!! Definitely worth the read!

Moral and passion sometimes don't always mix well. With what happens to Mig and his wife, it wasn't love or passion that brought them together, no it was deceit. Now he is stuck doing the right thing when he dream of being free to love the one woman that gets him. The one woman he can talk to. The one woman he can;t have because he is married to the devil.
Annie has loved Mig since them moment he moved into Uncertain, but she waited to long and now she is the "friend" who is a girl, that secretly wants to be the one. Dam spider and her freaking web!!!
So you get the gist of this amazing read, but don't think their is just romantic drama... Nope you have a crime, you have danger, and you have the Hottest most honorable bikers in the mix melting your heart as you read this exciting book. I couldn't put the darn thing down. Mig is just to good to close the book on him. He demands to be read, over and over, and over again!!!! hehehe!

He wants her. Annie's the exception. She taught Mig that not every woman wants him for the wrong reasons. The problem. Annie's his neighbor and he's married to a woman who lied and cheated her way into his life. A woman who's carrying his unborn child. A woman that Mig despises.
Yet another great read by Lani Lynn Vale. I couldn't wait to read Mig's story after meeting him in Whiskey Neat and it was so much more than I expected. Everything about Mig is intense. I loved how loyal he is and how he tried to do the right thing for his unborn child by marrying Jennifer. On that note, Jennifer drove me out of my mind. She's really a piece of work and I couldn't believe the lengths she went through to get to Mig. And even though Jennifer was the one thing keeping Mig back from pursuing Annie, you couldn't deny the fact that the connection between these two was unmistakable. Lani really drew me into their story. There was a little suspense and plenty of banter that had me in tears from laughing so hard. I couldn't get enough of these Mig and Annie.

Woah, what a crazy beginning! DEA agent Mig is very unhappily married to Jennifer only because he got her pregnant, yet he doesn't remember that night. Wait until you hear what REALLY happened! But Mig has only had eyes for his neighbor, Annie. Mig is one of those oh-so-hot alpha males who's cocky and confident. Crazy drama starts to unfold and Mig goes into uber protective mode, which kinda makes my ovaries quiver :) He's also part of the Uncertain Saint's motorcycle club, and some of those guys were so fun to read about! I was really pulling for Mig and Annie, but the deck was sure stacked against them. There were some crazy one-liners in here that had me laughing out loud. I did find a number of typos in this book (one included spelling a main character's name wrong.)

Mig and Annie are definitely a couple to read. Lani Lynn Vale captured me from the beginning and took me for a fantastic ride. You get to know the characters and the amazing people they can be. What happens with the love in this read? Read the fabulous story and grab a Jack and Coke to find out!

Finding ourselves back in Uncertain, Texas, we are in the middle of the action right off the bat. Mig is our focus this time around. His wife is upstairs sleeping and he's downstairs in the kitchen when he notices something. What he does next was fun to read and what happened after that was even funnier. All before breakfast, all before the time he has to get ready to go to work for the day. It's getting close to lunch time and Mig is ready ot hit the Diner to get lunch. What comes over the radio about the diner? Why is Griffin joining him? Oh, did I mention the next door neighbor that Mig rescued that morning was his next door neighbor Annie? Well, remember Annie? She works at the diner. What does Mig see her do as soon as he walks in the door? What happens next is funny and had me giggling for a while. This book of the Uncertain Saints really puts some things in perspective about what life is like for the boys and the threats and dangers they face. What is the deal with Mig's wife, Jennifer? Wait until you read the story there. HO BOY! Intense is all I can say about it. The things that happen to Annie, and Mig, and some of the others blew me away when I read it. I could not put this book down. I had to finish it before I could even think about running out and doing the errands that I needed to do! Enjoy the book. Definitely start with the first book though. It's great for the backstory of how things come to be!

Annie is amazing. But, then, we wouldn't have a story. And what a story!! It's wild. Annie is completely out of her element; she's getting pulled in different directions, poor girl doesn't know what to do. Annie does know she wants Mig. *grins
We all do Annie. He's hot. He does, however, come with a slew of problems. He's got a wife. She's pregnant. Appears she is in fact a r*pist. No one really understands why he married Jennifer, not even Mig. The marriage didn't really give him greater control over the situation. If anything, she's pulling him deeper I to the muck.
Upon hearing of Mig and Jennifer's unusual courtship, Annie makes a bet. Jennifer is soon to be his ex-wife. Oh no she didn't! Oh yes she did! Tables are turned. Annie finds out the truth, Annie is determined to get her man.
Let me tell you, I am loving this Uncertain Saints MC Series. They have a certain grimness not typical to the author's other series, but much appreciated all the same. Peek, Wolf, Ridley, Core, Casten, Griffen and Mig are book boyfriend material. Every single one.
The Epilogue was, well, EPIC! I am a great mushy pile of goo after reading that sweet treat. It was so good, the Epilogue had an epilogue. Over the moon and back again over how this story ends.
