I received an ARC through the author in exchange for an honest opinion.
A funny, sexy, light story with NO drama and I liked it a lot because to be honest, there are not many plots like this.
Let's start by telling that it is a story of friends who have eight years of know each other and also work together, they feel attraction to each other, but do not accept it and do not acted on it, but after a night of drinking, that result in hot and steamy sex, they start a forbidden relationship, and from there everything gets very hot.
I love the chemistry between the characters and the relationship that they have so close. The ways that they care to the other.
Margo is a beautiful girl, funny, cheerful, but like many other girls, she has had very bad luck with the men.
Owen, is a typical bad guy, sexy, womanizer, and hot. From the first page this is reflected, and has a job that any man would want (well, they pay him to date with beautiful girls and make a reality show).
When the boss asks Margo to join to the show and start dating sexy guys, the best thing starts, because no one wants the other to date with someone else.
The dates makes me die of laughter, and I really enjoyed reading it.
The work environment is another thing that I loved, very relaxed, where most seems to work at ease. (I would like to work on Trendblend, who does not!). Except for Margo's ex, I loved everyone...
Secondary characters complement the plot.
If you are looking for a light, sexy reading, from friends to lovers, this is perfect for you.

I'm defining this story as VERY Professionally written!
JD Hawkins is not a new Author to me. I joke in my my reviews that "He was my first!". But, truthfully he was my first male author read of contemporary romance. I'm excited to state this because, it's been amazing to see him grow as an author over this past year and write from a Male POV to now the incorporation of both Male and Female POVs.

This story was very well written! I fell in love with both Owen and Margo's characters. I'm always a sucker for a story that builds the attraction of two best friends that truly know intimidate details about each other, to watching them realize they are meant to be intimate together!
Owen is smart, sexy, funny, a known Playboy, and very secure in thinking he's done well over the years by keeping Margo not only as a good friend from their college days together, but also as a valued co-worker.
Margo is attractive, intelligent, yet insecure over a couple bad relationships, keeps her career goals in high standards and desperately in need of her old friend, Owen's, shoulder and charm to get her confidence back.

So, a few drinks in celebration of St. Patrick's Day, a few confessions of the heart, and the underlying truth of sexual chemistry between close friends lands them in bed together! The sex is off the charts dominating! It is also creatively written into the story making you cheer more and more for these two friends to co-workers to become lovers.
Their struggle to remain professional and not let others know about their attraction to each other becomes harder as they try and sneak lustful moments with each other.

As we all know, life typically has everything happening at once. Such is the case for Owen and Margo.
Margo has a dream job opportunity that she's wanted all her career open up right in the middle of her and Owen's newfound relationship. And Owen doesn't want to admit he's fallen in love with his best female friend.

So, if you enjoy reading well-balanced Male/Female POV stories, enjoy a little bit of dominantly driven sex, and the love of friends in the office to lovers' type of stories... you'll need to add "Unprofessional" to your TBR this month!

Also, if you've never read J.D. Hawkins', you need to check out his other books: Brando, Insatiable 1&2, Bootycall, The Bet, Confessions of a Bad Boy, and Secrets of an Alpha Male.

When I read the blurb for Unprofessional I just knew I had to get my hands on this book. Which is weird because friend-to-lovers isn't a trope that's I'm a huge fan of. But something about this intrigued me, and not that I'm finished I'm so glad I decided to choose this book to read.

One, the cover is drool worthy and I want to lick those abs. Two, Owen and Margo were great characters that I enjoyed getting to know. And three, their connection was really sexy and I couldn't get enough of it. Owen was swoon worthy and I liked that he wasn't the stereotypical playboy. He could be sweet when it came to Margo, which I really loved seeing, and he was honestly just a really good guy.

Margo was ambitious and strived for more in her life, an attribute that I liked from her. I was a little nervous when we were first introduced to her character because I was worried she would end up being snobby, but that wasn't the case at all. She wasn't as easy going as Owen was, but that's why they worked so well together. He was the calm to her stressed.

Bottom line, I really enjoyed this story and trust me, it's as hot as the cover. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an easy and hot read, and of course for fans of the friends-to-lovers trope.

There is nothing unprofessional about this fantastic 5 star read.
It's extremely well written, the story flows very well throughout and the duel POV by both Owen and Margo gives you an insight in to both their feelings throughout the book.
I really enjoy reading J D Hawkins books and I loved Unprofessional so much I can honestly say that this book is my new favourite and I highly recommend you one click it as soon as you can.
This book is a mixture of friends to lovers and an office romance that will have you swooning away whilst reading it.
Owen and Margo have known each other 8 years since they met very eventfully during college and have remained friends throughout.
They started working together at Trendblend (I want a job at trendblend as it sounds fantastic) and that just made their friendship stronger.
Owen is a bit of a playboy with his stunning good looks and fantastic personality he has women falling at his feet.
Margo is a nerdy, sexy, funny, talented and intelligent young lady but is extremely unlucky in love (well you can't have it all, that would just be greedy)
A night of Tequila and kittens (which is so so funny and would totally be me) changes her life as she knew it and then a fantastic St Paddy's day seals her fate.
This story has everything you could possibly want from a 5 star book and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I'm in love, bookworms! True blissful, fictional lurrrrve. Margot and Owen *le-freakin'-sigh* They're perfect! What's to love about them? The better question is what is there to NOT love about them? She's the quiet, studious type, and he's every book whores dream! Although both have their ups, downs, and meh-ish qualities, they both had such vibrancy, zest and passion!!

'He looks around him again and leans in a little closer, and I see a flash of last night's Owen, the ravenous Owen, the uncontrollable Owen, the slam-me-up-against-the-wall Owen. "I'm this close to shoving everything off this desk and -effing- you in front of everyone." Oh, be still my beating booknerd heart!!!!

Bad boy-manwho-3, office romance, friends to lovers. This book is loaded with tropes that make me weak in the knees! I had such fun reading and fantasizing my way through Unprofessional. The sexual chemistry flowing between Margot & Owen was off the charts. The lust-fest, that angsty push and pull of feelings, emotions and sexual craving.

"You're not exactly doing me any favors yourself, looking at me like that. You think I'd rather be sitting at my desk than on your face right now?"

GAH!
I. Need. More! Right meow!

'A kiss that says more than a thousand words ever could, lips touching only as an extension of our souls, and for a second I feel closer to him than I've ever felt, as if we're one.'

What happens when you mix two long-time friends who happen to work together with sexual chemistry on a St. Patrick's day with too many drinks? A story that's funny, sexy, and amazing!

The story revolves around Owen and Margo, who have been friends since their first year of college. They have a lot in common with one another and their friendship has lasted for eight years. The two co-host a show together and although still friends, they both want different things. Margo is at that stage where she wants to settle down and Owen isn't ready to settle down (home boy is a commitment phobe). Now, the two are attracted to one another but value their friendship too much to do anything about said attraction. Well, thank God for St. Patrick's day.

The story is fun and kept me engaged because while they are dealing with the reality of their hook-up, they're each dating other people on their online reality show. This book is beyond entertaining.

I loved this book SO MUCH. J.D. Hawkins did an incredible job of putting his own spin on the friends to lovers trope, which was incredibly refreshing. He also made it easy to relate to Owen and Margo and made their story believable. If you're looking for a great read then go one-click this baby now! Trust me, you won't regret it!

The author graciously provided a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Unprofessional is a friends (co-workers) to lovers romance and is told in DPOV by Margo and Owen.

"How do you even choose between the thing you've wanted all your life, and the person who might be the one you'e waited for all your life?"

Margo and Owen have been the best of friends since college, they've had a mutual attraction to each other, but have never wanted to ruin their friendship. "Owen as a boyfriend has all the ingredients for disaster. Thinking about it only makes me appreciate him as a friend all the more."

Margo knew Owen was a playboy and she had just ended a relationship, but they often got together and talked about things, life and work. One night while they were together, they both had a little too much to drink and took their "friendship" to the next level. Needless to say things just got a little complicated. "The problem is the eight years of friendship between us, eight years that we've just compromised."

They try to go on without letting what happened interfere with their lives and work environment, problem is, no matter how hard they try, neither one can get the other one off their minds. "Not even as f*** buddies? No-strings attached fun? Could that work?"

J.D. Hawkins has a fabulous writing style and will suck you in with this friends to lovers romance!

Owen and Margo have been friends since college and now work together at an online magazine in L.A. Though they are both young and good looking, they have always managed to stay friends and never crossed the delicate line that could ruin their long lasting friendship. There’s an implicit no sex rule between these two, but one drunken encounter could definitely change all this.
Owen is a manwhore who writes a dating blog, but he wants to take it to the next level and is pitching for a vlog while Margo is nurturing dreams of working in NY for a more serious publication. When she becomes an overnight internet sensation, he’s given the opportunity to go ahead with his vlog idea as long as she is his counterpart and they both go on dates, but unexpected new feelings will make them second guess their relationship.
This is one of the best friends to lovers’ stories I’ve ever read. It’s funny, sexy and fast paced without losing the charm or the romance. I loved the characters, the fact that Margo never turns into a blubbering mess no matter how bad she’s hurt and how sassy both her and Owen are. Their interaction, both with each other and with other characters is on point and the story kept me engaged from beginning to end.
Definitely a thumbs up! 

Unprofessional by J.D. Hawkins happens to be the first book that I have read from this author and it surely won’t be my last. Hawkins has written a fast paced, sexy romance that had all the elements of charm, friendship, love, humor and passion. How can anyone resist a best friends to lovers trope? Toss in the fact that they are co-workers as well. Yup, you guessed it.. Hawkins took mixing business with pleasure to a whole new level of hotness.

Owen and Margo have always made sure they were in the friend zone since they never wanted to ruin their friendship and working relationship. But after eight years of keeping their feeling in lock, it was only a matter of time till their feelings and sexual attraction to one another spilled over. So what happens when two best friends discover that this thing between them is the real deal?

Unprofessional is definitely your sexy blend of romance, laughter, and humor. Hawkins did a great showcasing the push and pull relationship of Owen and Margo as they tried to navigate their feelings for one another. As they both tried to keep their jealousy and insecurity in check, Owen and Margo will soon discover that the only happiness that they have been searching for is with each other. So if you are looking for a romance that was fun, sexy, and passionate then I suggest you read this book.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.* J.D. Hawkins grabbed me and never let me go with with this book! As a reader, I am always intrigued by male authors and their perspectives while writing. And this book truly amazed me. How well, does J.D. Hawkins know a woman's psyche? Pretty damn well! Unprofessional is a playfully, seductive story that had me falling in love with Margo and Owen rather quickly. It's a friends to lovers story that had me jumping in their corner, praying that they'd work out. That they'd be able to get past the hurdles that lie in front of them. These two had me laughing, gasping, oooooo-ing and ahhh-ing, yelling, and adoring in so many places. Their playful, witty banter, while humorous, actually plays a wonderful set up for lots of sexy, unforgettable moments. I am so delighted that I was able to read this book. J.D. more than surpassed my expectations with Unprofessional! He put his own spin on a "guy's girl" in Margo; making her a strong and commendable heroine. And while being considered a typical "lady's man", nothing about Owen is typical. He surprised me both in and out of the bedroom. I already wish I were reading this book for the first time, again. Mr. Hawkins has truly left me in awe!

Unprofessional is a standalone best friends/coworkers to lovers romance, that is as equally sweet and it is sexy.

The book is about Owen and Margo best friends since college, who now work together a Trendblend a lifestyle magazine. After getting drunk on St. Patrick's Day at a bar, there relationship moves to the next level. Owen is your typical manwhore, golden boy who doesn't do relationships, and never sleeps with the same girl more than three times. Margo is the exact opposite she's shy, ambitious, and looking for a committed relationship. The chemistry between Margo and Owen flowed naturally and when it came to the bedroom they were hot and steamy.

After reading Confession of a Bad Boy by J.D. Hawkins, I was looking forward to his next book and Unprofessional did not disappoint. I loved how the story was told in dual point of views, and explained why and how the character are the way they are. Owen always took care of Margo and stood up for her when dealing with the annoying ex. The ending was perfect for the characters.

I recommend this book for anyone looking for a fun read that is full of adventure and funny. This book is safe from cheating and ends in an HEA.

I received an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Another home-run.
I really enjoyed this book by Hawkins.
Here we have Margo the spitfire and Owen the great. They are best friends and sexual tension is so thick you will need a blowtorch to cut through it.
I love the friendship between Margo and Owen. Its a realistic relationship betwixt the sexes. They're close but they also respect boundaries. Well for the most part.
While reading this book I experienced lost of emotions. I laughed, I got upset and I squealed so loud I woke up my family.
Like all of Hawkins book you can expect your heart to be warmed and the male characters to be so sweet you'd melt.
Both characters have a depth to them that I love and they arc they go through is realistic and sweet. I love how the book ends.
The most important part is the sexy parts right. Hawkins books have gotten progressively sexier. That's my jam. The naughtier the better. I had to fan myself it was so hot. I love dirty talking alphas.
If your in the mood for a sweet, romantic book that will give you all the good feels, then its time to get a little Unprofessional.

Unprofessional by JD Hawkins is a standalone romance novel that ends in a happily ever after.  It’s a story that delivers all the feels you hope for out of a romance read.

This story is your typical friends to lovers romance, with a little taboo office romance thrown in.  The author did a great job creating relatable characters.  Margo was a determined, feisty girl and Owen was a demanding playboy.  This combination made for fantastic chemistry!  I got so invested in these characters and their lives that I didn’t put it down once!

Reading time from start to finish was about 3-4 hours.

This book was easy to read for me in that it was well written and I didn’t have to stumble back and forth trying to decipher what the author was trying to say.  Sentence structure flowed well all throughout the book and the word usage was descriptive enough without being overly done.

Unprofessional was a great book and I will definitely be picking up more of JD Hawkins books!

OMG! I loved this book!!! Margo & Owen own my heart!

J.D. Hawkins' delightful writing has done it again. Refreshing, relatable, passionate and highly entertaining, Unprofessional has officially climbed to my top reads of 2017!
What happens when the line between lovers and friends get's blurred?
Owen and Margo have been friends for many years. They work together at TrendBlend, both talented journalists, they get each other, they support one another. But one night changes everything. When they give in to desire their relationship is compromised. The attraction burns like an inferno but there are many things at stake.
Can they save their friendship or were they meant for something else?
What made the book for me was the characters. I loved their bond and how much chemistry they had! Their banter was delicious and the dual point of view moved flawlessly between our two characters.
Once I started it I was hooked. I highly recommend this book. You won't be disappointed. I cannot wait for more books by this author!

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers romance. The storyline was fun, refreshing and engaging. Owen and Margo have been friends since college. They now work side by side as journalists for an internet media company. Owen is having fun working there but Margo has more serious writing goals. When she accidentally becomes an internet sensation she and Owen are teamed up for more than they bargained for. Owen has always been a player but now he is realizing that his best friend is more to him. But being friends and colleagues made the risk of loss too great. Will he be able to convince Margo, who dreams of bigger and better, that it is all right in front of her?
I really liked both Owen and Margo because they felt genuine, honest and relate-able. Their banter was fun, their sexual tension and chemistry was off the charts and I loved Owen's dominant side. This is a swoony and sexy, fun and flirty romance with enough angst and emotion to keep you engaged from start to finish. I highly recommend this book!

Remember the last time you just really loved a book you could completely relate to, ya me neither!!! Don't get me wrong I love my romance novels, the rich alpha males, strong passionate females but really let's be real the likelihood of it ever happening in real life probably never. Now let's talk about Unprofessional. I absolutely loved this book for so many reasons. The story itself is so fresh and relatable. The writing is so good. I could completely see myself as a friend of Margo's or a co-worker at their company. The friends to lovers has been done before but I loved the way Jax used humor and the banter between these friends to ignite their chemistry and then make it combustible. Owen is hotter than hot and Margo is so unaware of how awesome and beautiful she is. Match made in Heaven? Well the sex sure is amazing but will the office romance ruin their friendship or push them for something more. You definitely want to read this 5***** Book and fall in love with Owen & Margo

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Well, I am here to tell you that JD Hawkins has done it again! They're hasn't been a book yet that I haven't loved of his. So, many people will be telling you what the books about and some or a lot of people may even tell you more than you should know, unless of course that is what you want then read away.

As for me, well it depends on what I feel like doing that day and today is the kind of day that I can't put into words how great this book is, or it will turn into a book it's own self. So, instead of me breaking this AMAZING book down into little pieces, I thought I would just tell you to buy it instead and find out for yourself.

So, please make sure to check it out along with all his other books. You won't regret it, he just may end up being one of your favorite authors like he is mine.

ENJOY!!

I received this as an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review. JD has successfully done.it again. New readers and current followers will either fall in love for the first time or again. I didn't think he could top anything previously written but Owen and Margo are spectacular. The dynamic is a perfect balance. College best friends that deemed one another off limits but are having a hard time abiding to the friend zone. Should they take the plunge? Can the "perpetual dater and serial relationship wanter" find a way to have it all ? Can a misunderstanding end things before they even really start? Did I mention they work together and are doing a dating vlog, will they be able to handle watching eachother date? So many questions and no answers, do you know why? Easy, buy Unprofessional and experience the brilliance of JD Hawkins firsthand.

Hawkins is an automatic one click for me. I always love his characters and point of view when reading romance novels. I have to say this book was more than I expected for a friends to lovers. I felt like it was deeper and the characters had a great connection that just flowed well when reading and the chemistry jumped off the pages for me. It wasn't over the top or hard to believe. It felt more what someone might actually experience rather than some crazy made up backstory for characters that never made sense. I love a book that feels more "real" to me as a reader with that hotness factor mixed into it (which no doubt about it this book was hot). I can't say it's his best book because I'm sure there is more to come; so best to date in my opinion. & one of the best reads for me in a very long time.

Five SHOUTY CAPS stars for Owen and Margo!! Owen was even better than I imagined he would be. His inner dialogue and actions were hilarious and completely swoonworthy. Such an alpha playboy, so funny and modern, yet he had a romantic and charming side as well. I loved the hip, modern setting of this book and the characters were fun and sexy as hell.

Margo was super cool, sexy and completely adorable. She found herself in some hilarious situations and handled herself well. The friendship and banter between her and Owen was funny, honest and super sexy. I loved them!!

Such a new and cool idea for a romance. The whole idea of the vlog and the angst of career moves and taking a chance on love made this a delightful read. I highly recommend this book! Love, love, loved it!

This review of Unprofessional by JD Hawkins is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog. It was really good. I give it 4 stars. It is a friends to lovers style romance. It was a cute afternoon read. Unprofessional is the story of Owen and Margo. They work for TrendBlend a multimedia company. They have been best friends since college. Owen pitch to his boss finally sticks and now he gets to date and rate for an online reality dating show. It's a hit, but they want a female cohost too. Yep you guessed it. They want Margo who shot to fame after her drunk kitten video went viral. She agrees and again the show is a hit, but then she is forced to make a huge decision. One that could impact her career and friendship. You will have to read to find out what happens. You won't be disappointed.

Full disclosure: The HOT guy on the cover caught my attention. Yeah, I know, so shallow of me. I was unfamiliar with the author so I decided to read a sample. The sample was so good, I had to download the entire story and read it in one sitting. “Unprofessional” was a fun, friends to lovers slash workplace romance. It takes a lot of originality to keep me entertained and JD Hawkins’ tale was original. The banter was witty. The dates were hilarious and reminded me of some of my own bad dates. The progression from friendship to romance was one of the best I’ve read in a really long time. It wasn’t a crazy rollercoaster ride filled with angst. It was simply, a wonderful ride! I received this book via ARC. This book was FANTASTIC. J.D. Hawkins is a one-click wonder. I haven't read a single thing that I haven't loved, loved loved.

This book takes the cake. Margo and Owen are an amazing couple that find their relationship growing from friends, to something more. I loved the flashback on how they first met. I laughed so hard. But it was perfect J.D. form. This book with make you laugh out loud, scream at the pages, and just have an inner calm when it all comes to a head.

Well written with great characters that are relate-able. The plot is strong, with twists, turns, angst, passion and normalcy.

Can't wait for the next masterpiece that J.D. Hawkins writes.

Friends to lovers and they work together. I met my husband at work. We were friends for quite a while before things developed further, so I felt like I had something in common with this book.
Mr. Hawkins has never disappointed with his books and this one was no different. Margo and Owen kept me turning the pages, wanting much more of them. They were fun and lovable characters. Owen with his Alpha side was steamy and hot. He seemed like a professional to me in the bedroom.
The book was wonderfully written. It sucked me in from the start and I didn’t put it down until it was finished. This is the same reaction that I’ve had to all of this author’s books. I can’t wait to see what he has next!

Another great book by JD Hawkins, and an example of why I will continue to read everything he writes. Unprofessional is smart and sexy, with just the right amount of angst. There always seems to be a bit of JD's personality in his books, as is evident in Owen's sweet and cocky attitude. However, what I appreciate most in any book is a strong, intelligent female lead. Margot has all that, in spades, and more. I loved reading about Margot and Owen's relationship, and the struggle they experience as that relationship begins to change. If a love like theirs is unprofessional, I'd like to submit my resume!

Unprofessional is by far my favorite book from this author!

I loved the setting in which the story takes place. The characters are creative, funny, and I want to be their friend. The story is well written, with a good pace, and the hot scenes are, well, very very hot! I love the different POV and I think the author is as good with the male than the female POV (which I don’t often think!). However, I think that the ending was too fast. I would have given a whole chapter to the epilogue and maybe a few chapters to the months before it happens. I also enjoyed the other characters and would like to eventually read more about Louise…

A quirky, fun, romantic read about two best friends tiptoeing the line to something more.
From the moment JD Hawkins had the poor girl crying into her shot glass while stroking a kitten I was into this funny romantic comedy Unprofessional. Within just a few chapters I was hooked into Owen and Margo's flirtation with a sexy friendship. Whether it was their hilarious banter or steamy sex scenes I couldn't get enough of the story Hawkins was telling. Unprofessional was a fantastic friends-to-lovers, office romance. The chemistry between Margo and Owen was exceptional, and the story well thought out. Reading it felt like I was watching a movie, with just the right amount of description about everything from the characters clothing to the rooms they were in to set the scene in my head. It was fun, funny, and sexy, and I couldn't help pulling for them to be together from the very beginning.

This is the first book I've read by JD Hawkins, and I'm glad to say I now have a new author to add to my favorites list.

My absolute favorite erotic/romance author. Max is my personal white night because his books rescued this damsel from being buried alive under a library full of romance novels where the female characters literally make me want to hurl. I was about to give up on the genre entirely when I stumbled upon Booty Call and several books later JD remains the only man I can count on not to leave me faking and frustrated when he's done. Unprofessional is the whole package, hilarious and sexually stimulating. Owen is the alpha male I'd give my left tit to keep (replacement parts are really natural looking now right). And Margo is the imperfect bad ass whose shoes I'd have no trouble walking in. I love that JD creates a world that I want to escape to at 3:00 AM when my insomnia kicks in and can inspire the kind of orgasm that can put me out for the count. Thanks JD for seeding my dreams and who ever comes across this review and are still riding the fence I guarantee you're in for one hell of a ride! Just sayin...

J.D. Hawkins writes a great friends to lovers story about Margo and Owen, friends since college, who work together. Owen is a player and Margo is the woman who always picks the wrong guy. They always share their experiences and when Margo's relationships end, Owen is always there to help her move on. One day over many drinks due to a video with Margo that goes viral, things change between them.

This is a fun, light, sexy story that will leave you smiling. I look forward to reading more from J.D. Hawkins.

Unprofessional is a fast, cute read about two best friends/coworkers who become lovers.

I found this story to be just okay. I sometimes found myself skimming through some of the scenes. This was my first JD Hawkins book and it won't be my last. The writing was great and the plot was intriguing. I just think maybe my mood was off when reading this, but it most definitely has nothing to do with the author or his writing. I will put it in the reread pile and try again down the road.

Owen and Margo have been friends since college, co-workers for years. One drunken night changes the dynamics of their relationship. Can they have more without ruining everything that's already good?
*I've read JD Hawkins books before, but this is my new favorite. A sweet friends to lovers with plenty of heat, and a bit of drama all mixed together and perfectly balanced for an enjoyable and entertaining read. **Manny reminds me of Brando. Everyone should have a friend like this somewhere in their life ?

This book is definitely my favourite JD Hawkins book to date! I loved everything about it from the cover to the blurb to the storyline. Who doesn't love a good friends to lovers romance?
I really enjoyed this storyline, it was something different for me. I would have liked to have seen a little more angst between Owen and Margo but that's just me being extremely picky!
This is another great book to add to my collection and one I will definitely read again.
The story is well written and kept me hooked from start to finish. I bloody loved it. Can't wait for more.

Unprofessional is definitely a one click must for those who, like me, love themselves a great best friends to lovers story.

Friends to Lovers!!!! It was perfection and so believable related to real life of attraction.
Owen and Margo have been friends for yrs since college, the attraction there but never acted upon it.Working in the same office, sitting together the attraction builds and builds until it explodes, the chemistry is off the charts with these two.
I loved both there attitudes and quick combacks one a player the other serious with no luck in the men department. You wont be able to put it down.
I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book

This was a really cute friends to lovers romance with last of laugh out loud moments along the way.
Margo and Owen have been friends and work colleagues for years platonic friends for years! Owen is one hot man and sure he looks at Margo and knows she's stunning a total catch but she's off limits until one night she's not and everything changes.
This was a real fun read with a good storyline, the author is a master at writing friends to lovers romance.

Owen and Margo are friends. They've been friends for 8 years since they met in college. They work together and get along very well. Their relationship works for them. Then a drunken night happens.

I really enjoyed this story, I loved the characters. Neither one of them was damaged and needed fixed. They both were strong people on their own. I liked it being told in dual POV. This is not the first book I've read from Mr Hawkins, it is my new favorite and certainly won't be my last!!!!!
