This book is AMAZING! I seriously couldn't put it down and had it finished in a day and a half. It was incredibly well written. The story felt fresh and new. I can't wait to read other books of this author.

While the plot, cast and crew of characters is fairly predictable right up front the story line grabs you and brings you in. The story moves along quite quickly and at times I really wanted more back story from each person. I was sad when the book ended as I had become so involved with the two main characters I didn't want it to end!

Say "warm smile" one more time. Overall I like this book but there are some things that just grated on my nerves. The way Vaughn spoke was super pretentious at times and I kept thinking to myself no one in real life uses these words and phrases.

I read all the way through but I had to keep forcing myself to.

Wow this was an awesome book. I enjoyed the flip in characters tremendously. More people in the world should be more accepting of others and know the story before judging the cover presented. Nice work!

This is unique and one of the most beautiful romances I have ever read. Nicky James has described Dissociative Identity Disorder with respect and dignity. I'll give it a couple of days to digest this book some more and then come back and write some more.
For now though, I highly recommend this story. It is heartfelt and it will make you feel plethora of emotions.

What a deceptively complex story. An impressive amount of research on DID must have occurred. Particularly attractive was the amount of pages devoted to making each of the alternate personalities distinct. They were allowed the room to grow and change along with Oryn. Vaughn must be ranked as one of the most easy to love characters encountered in fiction. Absolutely loved this book.

This was an amazing book! Writing about someone with multiple personality disorder was simply fascinating and complex. Every personality were distinct and I could picture every one of them as they truly were even though they were in the same body. I love the care that this author put in order to create this book. I can’t stop recommending this book!! So grab your copy, some tissues and enjoy it.

This was a beautiful story that encompasses not only living with and trying to manage a disease, but also how to love that someone. It is a story of imperfections and acceptance.

I can identify with this book from many aspects : as a nurse who has encountered many patients with psychiatric diagnosis including DID, as a person who loves someone with mental illness (daughter is bipolar) and lastly as a person who struggles with mental illness personally. The perspective is different for each, as is the dedication and love involved.

I hope this will be available in print. I'd love to add it to my bookshelf. I rarely review books, but this one was definitely worth talking about.

I work in behavioral health services and also struggle with mental illness. I was blown away by this book. The author took a topic that's still somewhat unknown to most people and delicately and respectfully brought us a beautiful love story. I have always enjoyed Nicky James, but this book sets her apart from anyone else. kudos!

This book blew my mind. I was admittedly a little apprehensive about it based on the subject matter but it is so incredible.
The author managed to make me fall in love with each and every aspect of Oryn’s personalities. It was moving with the perfect amount of sweet and fun. Vaughn is officially one of my all time favorite literary characters ever. This will be a book I read and read again.

I loved reading this story. It took time because I wanted to savor this book. The author put so much research in the Character’s disorder. So much love compassion and understanding went into Oryn’s character. I didn’t need to know what abuse he suffered to know it was bad. I would not have been able to read that. This story was done just right!!!

I absolutely devoured this book. The blooming relationship between Vaughn and Oryn is amazing and so complex. The characterization of Oryn, in particular, is so well thought out. He's so complicated with all his alters, who are all distinctly different characters. This book had me so emotionally involved and I love a good HEA. I definitely recommend this story!

Nicky James did a fantastic job with this book. Writing about mental illness and tackling such a tough subject of DID is not for the faint of heart. Each alter is perfectly described and given the time needed to flesh out the story. A slow burn with a HEA. Perfect

This book is a ride. Rolla coasters,tilt-a-whirls. In the beginning there was Oryn, then came Reed, who is Thomas,Cohen is adorable, and what is Cove doing. It's all wrapped up. This is a story of DID. Triggers warnings for cutting. Excellent written

The entire premise of the book - disassociative disorder of one of the MCs is unrealistic which put me off. It was like a bad soap opera. But then the writing was poor, barely average and the editing was not good at all. Sorry, not for me.

Wow! I was up late finishing this one. The characters were so phenomenal, the subject matter was very different and so interesting! I never knew anything about this condition and I Googled a lot while reading! This book is worth the journey, take the time, right now!

I really enjoyed this book. It most definitely was an emotional roller coaster, and gut wrenching but.... The mc's were just heroic in my eyes. The way one dealt with the DID illness, and the other for learning to love him anyway. Get your tissues and definitely give this one a read.

I was intrigued and curious from the beginning of the book. I was hooked. I laughed and was sad at times. The thought of someone living their lives like this was heart wrenching. I truly enjoyed reading this book.

This book is amazing. One of my favorite mm books of all time. I did not expect this book to be this good. You just have to read it. Especially if you have an interest in mental health or psychology.

This story is absolutely amazing. Every character stands out perfectly. You know it's a good story when you can't read it fast enough nor do you want to read it fast because you truly never want it to end. Looking forward to more from this author.

This book was very good and interesting. The author did a superb job in writing about how people who have split personalities deal with life and the people who love them. I loved how Vaughn took the time to know and understand Oryn. He was patient and learned to communicate with Oryn's other personalities. I highly recommend this book.

The story was captivating and so well done. Without giving the story away, I love the details that made the alters unique and the ways the MC noticed and adjusted. Who would I recommend it to? People who understand that we're more than what is seen. People who are okay with menage love. It's not a menage story, but if you have issues with it, this isn't the book for you. In the best possible of ways, it's days later and I still can't get the story out of my head. - John's Wife

Wow. Amazing. The complexity of an amazing friendship between to men as different as can be. Following Vaughn as he stumbles thru the differences of each alter was simply amazing. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't quit reading. If you want a read that delves into the mysteries of the mind this is totally it.
