Benching Brady (The Perfect Game Series)

I loved, loved, loved this book!!! Benching Brady is the second book from Samantha Christy's Perfect Game series. This book was better than the first, and I did not think it would be possible. Rylee and Brady's story is perfect, I have not read a more perfectly complete story before! Once you start this story, it will be impossible to put down. There are authors who write a story and you enjoy it. Then there is Samantha Christy who always gives you a story that consumes you. She always makes me laugh, then cry, then breaks my heart and then she puts it right back together. Samantha Christy just keeps getting better and better and Benching Brady proves just that!

Samantha Christy has hit another one out of the ballpark with Benching Brady. It is a story that will leaving feeling all the feels ..from laughing to crying to heartache to love all at once. The depth In which Christy writes her characters is something that I find in few authors .. and she does it time and time again. From the get go you are rooting for Brady and hoping the Rylee can help him find the redemption he seeks without even knowing it. The book moved at a great pace and even had a surprise or two that I had not seen coming. Look forward to the next book in the series.

Benching Brady had me holding my breath and totally enthralled at page one! The second book in The Perfect Game Series, Benching Brady, is as captivating, heartbreaking, and heartwarming as book one, Catching Caden. Brady and Rylee have an undeniable attraction the moment they meet and Brady's journey from playboy to a one woman man all because of Rylee will make you fall in love with him too! Fantastic characters and an amazing story line kept me glued to my kindle and I didn't want the story to end! Absolutely cannot wait for the next book! A must read book and series!

Wonderful character development. Great down to earth characters. Such a sweet heartbreaking story of how Brady became so damaged.
The story was fresh and never got boring.
I loved the fact that this wasn't instalove. Brady had to work for it. He was honest and trustworthy. No cheating too!
I also enjoyed how the author added details about his injury and recovery that were realistic and detailed. The baseball scenes were detailed and believable too. This makes for an exciting book.
I highly recommend this series.

When spunky Physical Therapist Rylee works with Brady, one of baseballs most eligible bachelors and star pitcher for the Nighthawks, she's immune to his flirtation. Yeah right! Brady stole my heart so obviously, he's going to grab Rylee's heart too!

I loved the banter between Rylee and Brady. I loved Rylee's personal strength. I knew that one day, Brady's haunting story would be revealed eventually!

I laughed, cried and cheered with everyone else in the stands of this amazing story! It deserves more than 5 stars!

Another home run for Samanthy Christy. I knew I was going to love Brady when we met him in Catching Caden. I was not disappointed. My only wish is that this book would have been dual point of view during the whole of it rather than half in his and then finishing in hers. I would’ve like to have known what Brady’s emotional struggles were when he met Stryker and also how he came to the conclusion that Rylee was worth fighting his demons for. It left a gaping hole in the story for me. But I would definitely re-read and probably will before Sawyer’s story is released.

I started reading The Mitchell Sisters series followed by the Stone Brothers series, and love that The Perfect Game series continues on with all of the characters of the previous two series...

While reading Catching Caden I didn't think I would be a fan of Brady... Boy was I wrong!!! He is amazing!!!! And this book was next to impossible to put down! It gives you all of the feels and you fall in love with all of the characters. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out! Samantha once again rocked it!

From laughing and crying to that ache in your chest because a moment is either heartwarming or heartbreaking, you will feel it all. Brady is the ultimate bad boy of baseball but has his reasons for his behavior. Can the right woman help him become who he was meant to be on and off the field? Buy this book to find out! You will not be disappointed and fair warning, block off the day because you will not be able to put this down. Between eating and continuing the book, you will go hungry! But you will be satisfied in an entirely different way.

Ambition is great but along the way you may encounter road blocks. This story pulls deep rooted pain to the surface. It shows how buried feelings have steered a great baseball players life down a guarded hearts path. Love is the last thing he wants. He has set rules and everyone knows it. One major injury proves to be both challenging and rewarding when love creeps up on him. Brady finds love again while trying to get back to his greatest love, " Baseball". So yes this is a great read. You will cry, laugh and crave more till the end. Great story!

Wow! Just wow!!! When baseball’s biggest playboy gets hurt on the mound, you would think his life and his lifestyle are over. However, the resilience of one determine physical therapist, has him optimistic and wanting difference things. If you think this is a traditional athlete falls in love with therapist Story think again. Your heart will ache for both Rylee and Brady. You will physically laugh, you will physically cry, and you will not be able to put this book down (at least I couldn’t).

What a great story about two remarkle people who have had to overcome some very hard losses. This book had me feeling all the feels and that just made me read it faster and become even more invested. Such great characters in this book from her other books. Love how she ties them all together and the family just keeps growing. Brady and Rylee were so much fun to read about and I loved their love story! They were so perfect for each other! Definitely recommend! 5+stars!!

Samantha Christy hit another one out of the park. Another Christy masterpiece. Watching bad boy Brady become the true loving man he is will make you laugh and cry. The witty banter between Brady and his Physical therapist Rylee is fun and endearing. As always Christy brings in characters that we know and love from her previous books so we still feel part of the story. I am amazed at how each book gets better and better but this one will be hard to beat. Brady is the best and most swoon worthy book boyfriend yet.

It's a heartfelt sexy funny book. Ms. Christy was able to illicit every emotion I had yet again. This one struck me as hard as Stone Rules did. The hurt and pain that they feel because of their losses. I had to stop and take a minute to assess how i would cope if that were me.
It was well written with well developed characters and lots of growth. I was glad to see that some of the old friends made it back. I will be looking forward to Sawyer's story

Love the book. Love the series. I mentioned in Catching Caden review that I was disappointed that there was no closure on Murphy's ex, however she continued the story here, in the background, so we did get our closure. Thank u author! This book is for mature readers due to sex scenes. Brady's story is heart wrenching, I'm glad he got his happy ending. No cliffhanger. Sweet epilogue. Loved it.

This author is fast becoming one of my favorite author's of contemporary romance, this story was exceptional.
I enjoyed the pace of this book and how the author developed the story and characters. The storyline captured all of the best things I enjoy in romance reading, with just the right amount of love, romance and suspense. I definitely will give this a five star rating for being one of my favorite books this year.

I loved Brady’s story! It was so heartbreaking but also there was redemption in his love for Rylee! The message I got from this one is you never know what people’s stories are and not to judge their behavior based on what you don’t know! Well done again SC! Thank you for that ride and I can’t wait for Sawyers story!

What a beautifully written story. Brady is the man that makes you roll your eyes at in the beginning but has you wiping the tears away soon after, then back and forth. The internal struggle that he goes through is gut wrenching and you feel it all. From the laughing out loud to the ugly cries. This store has it.
Samantha Christy has done it again. She has hit it out of the park(pun intended). You fall more and more in love with these characters, past and present, because they are everyone's friends, family ,brothers and sisters. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next. Amazing 5 star book that I will read again and again like the rest of her stories. Keep them coming, lady. Standing ovation to you, you deserve it!

I absolutely loved this book!!!! Samantha Christy always has fantastic characters, but she really out did herself with these!!!! This book had a heart breaking storyline!!!! Can't tell you how many times I cried!!!!! But, the ending was fantastic!!!!! This is a "must" read!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful broken Brady... keeping his pain and guilt buried deep. Rylee shook him up without really knowing it. His struggle to come to terms with his past to move on with Rylee broke my heart and then filled in the pieces. Love the continuing series with the interconnecting characters.

The perfect game series books are awesome. The second book is a great read. I enjoyed Brady and Rylee's love story. The connection these two shares was so well written and I felt it through her words. This is a great author and I enjoy these books.

I LOVED Brady and his story. It's heartbreaking, but it's full of love and second chances. I've yet to be disappointed by a Samantha Christy book. Extra bonus - I love how all her books are connected with recurring characters. I'm very much looking forward to her next book.

Have a box of tissues ready. I love baseball and Samantha Christy has given me two great baseball stories with characters that go through growth with sweat and tears. I can't wait for the next book in the series and hate that i have to wait til fall to read it. Well done.

As a lifelong baseball fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. They are simple, happy-ever-after romances that help pass time enjoyably. Warning: they also link to "The Stone Brothers" and "The Mitchell Sisters" books. Start one and you just cannot stop. Happy reading!

Samantha Christy's Perfect Game Series is my new favorite. The characters and relationship development is so well written you feel like they are your own friends. I was sucked in by Catching Caden and cannot wait for more of these baseball hotties with hearts full of love.

You will have so many emotions as you read Benching Brady. He romances Rylee, while fighting his own demons. I met Brady in Catching Caden, and got a hint of his story. I enjoyed how Ms. Christy unfolded his story, and I liked how Rylee was a part of it.

After reading Catching Caden I had to read Brady's story and it did not disappoint! It was so good! So sweet and heartbreaking and sweet again. I am so happy Brady got his happy ending after everything he went through.

Loved this book, it was a "must read" after Catching Caden. Eagerly waiting for Sawyers story. Loved the characters and their issues. Not only was Brady conflicted over his loss of his first family, but Rylee , also faced heartache as well. In the end, a HEA.

I love Brady and Rylee!!! This is a heartbreak to love story and I couldn't have loved it more. It definitely gave me the feels. I'm addicted to these boys and their love for baseball! Can't wait to read Sawyer's story.

This book did not disappoint!! I first read about Caden, and while that book was ok I was craving to know more about Brady. I laughed, I cried, then I laughed again, and then, wouldn't you know it I was crying again!! And next is Sawyer! I can't wait!!

I thought your book about Caden was really great, however, Brady was positively AWESOME!!!!!!! I can hardly wait for Sawyer's story. Thus far, I am totally hooked on this series........soooooo good!!! ???

I thought Murphy and Caden’s story was good, but this one may have topped it. It’s sweet and there are a few places that get you in the feels. I’ll definitely keep moving forward with this series ❤️

Absolutely amazing book. I’ve read every single book by Samantha and each one just gets better. But this one, this one is incredibly special. The way the emotions pour off the pages has left me speechless.

I loved this story. What happened to Brady was heart wrenching! The chemistry between him and Rylee was great. I think it was a little rushed in the beginning, hence the 4 stars. It had a nice outcome.

I love a flawed hero who fights through his demons to win the day. When both sides are struggling, it doubles the pleasure. This story pulled on both sides. Courage on one. Understanding on the other.

I think Samantha Christy is now one of my favorite new authors. Just finished Benching Brady and I loved it. Made me laugh and cry. Great story and I cannot wait for her next story Stealing Sawyer.

This is an incredible read. It's a beautifully written journey and completely amazing. Rylee and Brady have been added to my "favorite couple list", a feat not easily attained! I can't wait for Fall to get here for Sawyer's story!

I have read the stone brothers series, the Mitchell sisters series, catching caden, and benching Brady. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. Samantha draws you in with real life scenarios, characters, and you can feel what the Characters are feeling. You can read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading them from the start, bc the characters stories carry over into the next books! Excellent author that will keep you lming bacmm for mkre!

A great second entry to The Perfect Game series. I totally enjoyed Caden's story, but this one surpassed it. No spoilers here - just a flat out wonderful read. Can't wait for the third installment.

This book no let me change that Samantha Christy is one of the most interesting. Involved and exciting author that in have read this year. If you enjoy romance. Action. Sorrow and a bunch of really good sex chapters know you will love her books

Samatha Christy has done it again. Benching Brady is the 2nd book in the series The Perfect Game. Brady is one of MLB's best pitchers. In one of the games that all changes for him. He got injured and was sent to Florida to do rehab. That's where he meet Rylee his Physical Therapist. There is sadness and romance. They will have you laughing and crying. You will love their story.

Samantha Christy has done it again!!! I loved Benching Brady!!! Just the right amount of angst, passion, laughter and heart! You’ll love Brady and Rylee’s story. I highly recommend it and can’t wait for Stealing Sawyer!
