This book "Principles of Managerial Finance" by Lawrence J Gitman is very helpfull for MBA students, graduates, or professional managers. The methods for finance analysis is very clear and straightforward and easy to understand.
The sample cases (based on actual cases) help give insights to readers towards how to implement finance theory into real life finance problem solving.

I chose this book because it was required for the class in the MBA program I enrolled in at Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware. The book gave excellent examples on how to calculate the PV and FV of an amount. Also, the explanations on the side of the book made it easy to look up the definitions, instead of going to the back of the book. I would recommend this book to anyway.

"Principles of Managerial Finance plus MyFinanceLab with Pearson eText Student Access Code Card Package."
The title was misleading; It did not contain the access code like the title says.
I had to purchase the access code from Pearson directly because of this, rendering the hard copy useless, since it makes the E-Text available to you..

This textbook is not for individuals with absolutely no financial accounting background. I would say this textbook would be better suited for individuals with a moderate to experienced financial accounting background whom may need a refresher in various areas of finance.

Please ignore my rating. I do not have the product familiarity necessary to provide an objective opinion.

This book did NOT come with MyFinanceLab. If you require MyFinanceLab for your class, you must purchase a separate access code. The access code costs an addition $50.00 from [...].

I was very impressed by the overall experience of ordering this book. The condition was better than I thought and the price was great. It arrived much early than expected. This experience saved me lots of money if I were to buy it at the school bookstore even buying it used there.

This seller exceeded my expectations and I am so pleased with their service. I had my first Managerial Finance class on a Tuesday and ordered the book the Friday before. I actually received the book on Monday night, well in advance of my class. This was honestly the best experience I've had and I urge you to order from this shipper if looking for fast, reliable service. The book was in pristine condition.

I just want to thank the seller and would most certainly conduct business with them again.

Never received the item from this seller. They are in Az and so am I so I thought I would get it quicker. Customer service was lousy, all I received were automated emails. I asked them to call me, they never did. I asked them to send another book on Nov 8th they told me I had to wait until Nov 11. Ordered this book on Oct 16th, shipped on the Oct 18th.....Needed for college...no cooperation or sympathy from this seller with regards to my needing the book. If you get your book then they are good but if there is a problem with your order, they don't care. You figure out the risk....Will never place another order with them again. I have another 11 courses to take....their loss

I just learned from the publisher that this 2019 15th edition is actually being updated due to the 2017 tax law changes and will be reprinted later this year. So, as a professor, I just told my summer class to forget about the 15th edition and get a used copy of the 14th ed. (by Gitman & Zutter - same textbook, Gitman just retired from 15th ed.). Shame on Pearson if they are still selling this "new" edition, knowing it will be replaced shortly...

Could a textbook ever be so poorly written? The answer is yes. This book has numerous mistakes in that will leave you stuck wondering what exactly they are referring to. I have already taken financial and managerial accounting online and I understood the material because McGraw Hill provides clearly written instructions, If your school is using this textbook I suggest you hold off until they come to their senses. I notified my professor about the inability of this book to instruct correctly, the juvenile wording, and the countless mistakes. If you are an online student you will need to shell out additional money for tutors and supplemental material. I had a professional look at a part of the book and they could not believe how misleading Pearson's work is. Also I wasted time trying to get my tutor to explain an example from the book. We finally realized that the example was, of course wrong. What a joke...

My university requires a Pearson custom edition of this book (selected chapters). The book is fairly easy to follow and has good explanations for the methodology of using both a finance calculator and Excel. Unfortunately many of the excel formulas have errors and will not work as printed. Take the printed formulas with a grain of salt and check what you entering based on the actual excel requirements.

This is a great textbook, but the publisher is pulling a fast one on students. The university my wife attends started using their "own" version of this textbook and she was told it was impossible to use the 12th edition. Their own verision was just half of this textbook, and you had to buy the other half for the higher level course.

Turns out the instructor lied, not only could the students use the 12th edition, the instructor used the 12th edition.

Before putting out the money for this, get the 12th edition used for about 5.00 and wait and see if there is a need for this verison. ( honestly we have both now ,and the 12th is actually laid out better ).

( you can pay for my finance lab directly).
