The premise of this series is interesting, but I'm not interested enough in any of the characters to want to read more.

This is the story of Keira, a non-traditional college student who is attracted to her writing professor. Apparently the attraction is mutual and when the semester ends, he pursues her. She's HOH for her family since her mother died 9 years ago and hasn't quite allowed herself to be herself since she's always taking care of them.

To me, this was less about romance and more about Keira finding herself. There's plenty of sexual encounters containing BDSM and some D/s behavior, which she enjoys, but I still don't get the attraction because we didn't get to explore the relationship with the couple. We were told, rather than shown.

This is the story of Will, a college professor and Kiera one of his students. He has been giving her poor grades all semester so she decides to approach him. She is immediately drawn to him, even though he insists she meet with him every day to go over past assignments. She is tired from working in her family's restaurant and looking out for her dad and siblings after her mom passed. He is dark and into BSM and she seems a natural. It was not too different from any other book I have read regarding this subject and it doesn't appeal to me as I just don't get it. If you do like it, it's not a bad read!

So bad I deleted it half way through (fortunately, it's so short that I didn't waste too much time getting that far). A Fifty Shades wannabe that falls far short. The Dom character is so controlling so quickly that it's completely unbelievable that the woman, uninitiated in that lifestyle, would go along with his demands. The sex scenes also fell flat for some reason I can't really identify.

A sexy, quick read sure to entertain romance/erotica fans for a few hours. Keira is 27 and finally attempting college now that her siblings are mostly grown and semi-independent. As the oldest child Keira took over the pseudo role of mother almost ten years ago when her own died. In her last few weeks of the term she finally confronts one of her professors over her low paper scores and finds herself fantasizing about him constantly. She soon finds out the fantazies aren't one sided and a quick relationship develops between Keira and her professor. The story definitely could have been flesched out and the characters given more depth, but overall it's enjoyable. I downloaded the first four books for free and sometimes a quick read is nice.

Who hasnt had at least one teacher that they have fantasized about?? The budding relationship between the main character and her college professor isnt at all creepy, as Keira is 27. When her mother passed away, she put her life on hold to be what she thought her siblings and father needed, never taking anything enjoyable from life for herself. Until Bill Wallace became more than her professor.
I really enjoyed this book and amazingly enough, the chemistry between Bill and Keira was believable, unlike other books that just seem cheesy. Good writing and steamy sexual encounters made this book difficult to put down. I read it all in one day!

Keira is very much a family person and loves hers very much. She is really close to them and has cared for them since the death of her mother. She meets and falls for Will. I loved the connection between Keira and Will. Will's primal side really brought Keira out of her shell. I felt that they fit together perfectly. The sex is phenomenal! I could not put this book down and is one I reread often. This won't be the last book I read of the authors.

I'm sorry - picture me laughing - but I closed this story up in the first chapter it was so, um, you know. The heroine, a 27 y.o. business degree college student who helps run the family restaurant while raising her 6 siblings with her widowed father, who admits to the reader she is quite pretty, yet can't speak remotely like a rational adult to her English teacher who keeps giving her poor grades (wink wink) ... it was that awful. I just gave up when she went to the nickname Kiki.
