I downloaded this box set as an exclusive freebie, and was completely in awe of the story, characters and masterful writing of this author.

"Charlotte" is in need of money for college and at the age of 22, she auctions very virginity to the highest bidder. While this is not entirely original in itself as an erotic storyline, Simone Leigh weaves a wonderful tale of sexual and sensual awakening within her character that pulls the reader in from the first words.

Highly recommended for those you who enjoy well written erotica. It is well worth your time.

Buying the Virgin is a collection of five short stories, or really scenes, between 22-year-old Charlotte and James, the rich Master who purchases Charlotte for a week of sexual debauchery - which includes James buying the right to take Charlotte’s virginity.

This box set is advertised as books one through five, but the books are so short they are basically just scenes between Charlotte and James. These scenes escalate quickly, wit a new element added to each story. The first story opens on Charlotte auctioning off her virginity and a week of her life to the highest bidder in order to help pay for college. From there, the stories add a new element, from BDSM to other men.

The writing is decent, but the scenes weren’t very original. There are many other books with all these same plot devices: a virgin selling herself, BDSM, threesomes and group sex. If you are looking for the sex scenes without the extraneous plot development that comes with longer romance novels, than Buying the Virgin is a quick read for you.

To pay her school tuition and other related expenses, Charlotte decides to auction herself and her virginity off to the highest bidder. The winner will be the one to take her virginity and be her Master for one entire sex-filled week. Seven whole days. From taking her virginity, to a menage a trois, to picnics, to having multiple men do as they please once they win a hand of blackjack (this is while she is blindfolded and handcuffed in place), James and Michael, a man he brings in to enhance her experience, show Charlotte just how much fun sex can be. They do not force her to do anything she is uncomfortable with. And she discovers she is not uncomfortable with anything; rather, she wants to try everything. Granted, she enjoys the nonsexual things too. Can she let them both go at the end of the week? And can she earn enough money to pay her tuition and then some? I enjoyed reading this box set about these three you really need to read the whole series to understand the story behind James and Michael and Charlotte all three of them have a past and they all three need to work together to get through it to make there three thing work but it is harder then you would think to get all of them to click all of the time. So when Charlotte can make both of them and herself happy by all means she does her best so read this box set like I voluntary did and enjoy. C.

Her new master James told her that what she would receive would not be enough to pay for 4 years of schooling and if she wanted to earn even more if she agreed to be shared with other men.

Buying the Virgin is slightly different from the usual virginity auction in where he convinces her to be shared even before he leaves the site of the auction.

Simone Leigh knows how to do short and steamy and this first introduction to Charlotte, James and Michael certainly ticks the steam factor box. The virgin aspect is played well in this book as Charlotte spends her first seven days with these two exploring all her desires - some open and others simply dark desires yet to be explored....I look forward to the next collection!

An interesting story & yes, I can see where this can be translated into real life. It is her body & her choice. Very erotic as she learns of sex and many of the possibilities of different sexual experiences. It could have gone terribly wrong but then it would not have been the fun read it is. I would recommend these stories.

These stories are very well written, they are obviously very sex oriented but it's done in such a way that you transition from Charlotte being an innocent virgin to a hot sex bomb taking part in a ménage with two men. She learns all about BDSM and how to be a submissive. The characters were well drawn.

Sometimes sexually explicit erotica books are cheesy and all the sex completely overides the story behind it. As much as I love the explicit sex scenes (which this book definitely has) I need to have a storyline to keep my attention and keep Mr turning pages. I wasn't disappointed with this book. It was an quick read and the story was very easy to follow along. I would definitely recommend it.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This was a super short read and I think that is where I struggled with it. It all moved too fast without providing an understanding for why the characters were making the decisions they were making. There were brief references that made me wonder "why" more than providing any solid answers. It is definitely a steamy book, but those scenes also felt contrived and not all that satisfactory. I found myself skimming those scenes to try to find the meat of the story.

Charlotte wants to go to college so she decides to sell her V Card at an auction. Of course the man that purchases her for the week is handsome and rich she finds out that there are options to earn even more money if she agrees to some additional demands by her new "Master". I gave this book 3 stars because I was expecting to read a typical virgin auction book that might be believable but quickly discovered a storyline was hard to comprehend since the experiences were farfetched given Charlotte's lack of experience. All in all Charlotte earns the money she needed and more along with experience she probably never thought she would get which will obviously mold her tastes for any man in her future. There may be a sequel in there somewhere that will let us in on "the rest of Charlotte's story" This is a very, very quick read so it is something you can tackle in one day easily.

What would you sell your virginity for? In this box set, Charlotte sells her virginity for school money. Each of the books has her in a different situation, with different men and expanding sexual roles. Found the books to be quite interesting and not the usual "virgin" type of book. Well written with what I considered to be appropriate detail, you feel like a part of what is going on as opposed to just being a reader. Recommended!!

Newer author for me. I enjoyed these books in the box set. Im glad I did weight to get them until they were a boxed set, I am not really a fan of the 30-60 page short stories. I read too much to go into those and finish them too quickly..... but this boxed set is a one clicker! It keeps your interest and gives you a few hours of good reading!

If you enjoy BDSM books then these are excellent. There is so much more to them than that. I love the character and story development over the span of the series. I wish these were available on KU. I enjoy that I don’t have to deal with grammatical errors. I am always waiting for the next one!

I loved this book from the other perspective. You really see into the mind of the main character and her motivations. You will laugh and cry right along with her. I cannot wait to see where this will go next.

In this set, the past of Charlotte starts to unveiled and a new friendship starts - Beth and her husband - boss of both James and Jenny.
The bond between the three characters suffers several challenges.
The pace is quick and hot scenes included, as expected. Loved it.
