It's an entertaining book overall. Has all the required elements of a boss and secretary love story. But the description of Jade reminds me of supergirl (sorry) the thick glasses and hidden sexiness.... and Luke wanting only an old librarian type..... the best part is the fact most of book takes place overseas instead of some New York high rise

An office romance with a twist. Jade knows she's more than qualified for the job and she's willing to take some unusual steps to get hired. But when her secret is unexpectedly revealed during a business trip overseas with her boss, things really start to get interesting... steamy and humorous, with well-developed characters. I thought this is an interesting boss/ assistant romance. It's a bit emotional, very heated and has enough excitement to keep the story flowing. The characters were enjoyable as well. I really liked when they get together and the heat between them, it makes the story even better. This story will definitely hold your attention until the end, I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Great book and I loved reading it. She needs the job but he wants someone unattractive and married. She lies and gets away with it until they are away on a trip and he accidentally sees her as she really is. He has a lot of past hurt to get over. There is excitement, suspense, hot and steamy, fun and so much more. I highly recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I absolutely loved this book!! Luke despite being a playboy was always sweet with Jade. I loved how he actually started liking her before finding out she was hot and not an ugly secretary.

I really liked Jade's character. She was awesome and did what she had to do to get the job she wanted.

It was a short read but I'm a sucker for Alpha bosses.

Loved this book. It's was sweet, fun read. Only issue I had was there were numerous typos or misspellings. Usually not an issue but felt there were more than should have been. If you put that behind you it's an enjoyable and the perfect romance. It's a book that gives you that enjoyable evening and you don't want to put it down. The writer did a great job with this book. I look forward to other books by her that become available.

I really enjoyed reading this book, I laughed for parts of it, I especially loved the Smurf crossed with an arachnid. The story was very well written and I loved Jade when she was in disguise. Luke was a bit of a jerk in places though, but he was a believable character.

The agency that she works through told her that Luke Remington had a specific type he hired and she wasn't it. She disguised herself and went to prove the agency wrong that she could look unattractive and still get the job done. Luke Remington never looked twice at his assistant until they were traveling on a business trip to Bangkok and hearing her scream had him running into her room. Jade scream when she saw a big spider in the shower just as she was getting ready to get in and screamed. Not knowing what was going on Luke burst in only to find his assistant in nothing but a towel and she is definitely more attractive then he was led to believe. After seeing Jade like that Luke couldn't stop thinking about her. Jade already had a small crush on her boss and was now struggling with those feelings and is she was still going to have a job. Luke and Jade end up giving into their attraction not thinking passed what are doing right then. At least until something happens that could change everything for them.

This was a well written story. The characters are strong and the heat between them is sizzling hot. This is a must read. I loved this book and would recommend it to my book friends.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book. The CEO & I was a very quick romance. He was already interested in her before he found out she was very beautiful. The jealousy, possessiveness and confusion over his father only cleared his path for him. Very interesting reading.

This is my first time reading anything by this author, but it won't be the last. Extremely sexy, quick and fun read. The main characters have great chemistry, they're attracted to each other, but also really like each other. Great read, highly recommended.
