Katy Evans has been honing her craft. Righteous ambition tempered with idealism and sincerity. Politics has never been so tastefully presented. If only the real world had a Matt. Charlotte is mist definitely First Lady material. The conflict is real and the passion and love heartwarming. A must read!!!

This book is probably one of the sexiest books that I've read in a while. It's not too much but just right. I don't usually go for political romances but this one was it for me. I loved Matt's caring attitude and how he wanted to fight for Charlotte. I loved that he wasn't too afraid to say that he needed her. I hate that she felt like she had a choice. I can't wait until the conclusion.

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't and didn't want to put it down. Matt for sure has my vote. Charlotte is such strong lady. I fell in love with Matt and Charlotte.... the passion, the connection, the fight, the heartbreak and wanting what you shouldn't. You can't help but want to see them win to!! How much will you let the past effect your future? Thank goodness there is going to be another book..

I absolutely LOVED this book! Katy Evans is definitely a favorite of mine. I was expecting a great book and was not disappointed. There is so much more to this story and I am not sure how I can wait for the second but am so glad the story is not over. You will absolutely love these characters!

I really enjoyed this book. It was different and the writing was great. I'm a huge Katy fan. Towards the last 10 or so chapters I felt we were getting a little repetitive with the events in the book. Campaign talk then secret hook up with Charlotte. That's really all that bothered me, a little. I really liked the characters. Looking forward to the next book.

I have definitely fallen in love with this couple. Charlotte is a strong, independent woman who wants the best for her country but also wants him just for herself. I loved that even though they both wanted to be together and maybe deep down wanted a different outcome; there was no selfishness on either part. I cannot wait for the next book to see how their story progresses!!

5 stars. I absolutely loved reading Mr. President, I love political love stories and this one was everything I hoped it would be. Matt and Charlotte are soul mates and I hope they get the happy ending they deserve. This is a must have buy it you won't be disappointed.

Matt is seeking the presidency but doesn't want to subject a wife or children to what he endured when his father was president therefore he can't have more than a secret love affair with Charlotte. It's tough to read knowing how this will likely end but you can't put it down. Katy Evans.... I'm now calling the Queen of cliff hangers.... Waiting for commander and chief

Bittersweet is the word I would use to describe this story about Charlotte and Matt. A senators daughter and a presidential candidate, who fall in love but can not demonstrate their love to the world because of Matt's obsession with emotional abandonment. Excellent story.

A departure for Ms. Evans, this book still had all the feels of her other books--drama, lust, love, and heart. However, the thread of hope is throughout the book and is potent, such that you understand and appreciate the choices both characters make. Buy this, you will love it!

Man oh man this was soooo good. Matt and Charlotte, jeez how did they do it? To want something/someone so bad but can't. To have it so close yet so far away. That last line broke my heart. On to book 2! Super excited...

Charlotte is eleven when she meets Matt at a dinner - his father makes such an impression on her that it help shape her life. When Matt decides to run for President she helps by working as a member of his campaign and that's when they realize they have deep feelings for each other. Since he's a single man running if he wins can they have a relationship.

I absolutely loved everything about this book! I wanted to know what happened but at the same time tried to go as slow as possible to savor this incredible story. If only we could have man like Matt running our country. Loved it and can't wait for more!

Unfortunately I am not an American citizen, but I am very proud to have a n author with such a sensitive opinion about what matters in the world, so aware that evryone has their importance and can make the difference fot better. Matt is strong and brilliant and Charlotte is kind and as strong as he is, they complete each other.

Katy Evans has wrecked me! Like most of Evans' America, I fell hard for Matthew Hamilton and was absolutely devastated with the ending. I cannot wait for the continuation of Charlotte and Matt's epic love affair...January can't come soon enough! ❤

Fantastic writing Katy! This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire storyline. To fall in love with someone and not able to show the world is one of the hardest things in life to experience. Looking forward to the second book.

Wow, this book came highly recommended by a close friend. I had to wait until I was finished with school to start it. So freaking good. I loved Matt and Charolette sooo much. I cannot wait for Commander and Chief!
P.S. this was my very last read of 2016 and I am so glad it was. It was a great way to finish out the year.

Amazing story can't wait for the Commander And Chief to be released. Gee I hope they get to be together. Kathy you are an amazing author. Keep up the good work! I love your stories! I fully recommend any and all of your books. They are so worth reading.

As always, this author delivers a good read. She gives us a manly man character who knows how to treat his lady. She does so with such imagination and style that becomes addictive. Yes , I want more and more and a never ending more...... Bring it on! I'm so very ready!

Mr President--now this book was written at the perfect time seeing as we just had a presidential election. Let me tell you, if Matt had been on the Independent ticket, I myself, along with many, many others would've voted for him. Can't blame Charlotte for falling in love. Let's see where the sequel takes us.

This is a romance that builds slowly. However it's a romance destined for heartache. Matt and Charlotte survive by knowing they have to think of everyone else but themselves. I hope Charlotte gets a better spin and strength in the next book so she doesn't end up being a doormat again. She has sacrificed enough to be with Matt.

I could not put this book down, loved Charlotte and Matt, perfection. This book makes me want to love politics in a diffrent kind of way. The way the characters are with each other and how they sacrificed what they want for something better for all....WOW, going right into Commander and Cheif I can't wait.

Where do I start??? This book was simply awesome.. I have no words to describe it. I just love how they connected after so long.the chemistry their presence was simply fabulous. Great work and heartfelt congrats to Katy for giving us such a wonderful book.

Omgah, I so thoroughly enjoyed this book!! The sizzling tension between the characters, the secrecy, the way they connected, the whole story was enthralling.
You couldn't help feel what they felt, everything intrigued me. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see where the story goes next!!

Cliffhanger ALERT! This book ends with a cliffhanger. Had I known that, I would have waited on the sequel and read the entire series at once. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book; my first by this author. But I don't knowingly wait three months for a story's conclusion. Very disappointed.

Katy Evans draws you into Matt and Charlotte's world and you fall in love with the main characters. Love scenes that are hot and a great story to go along with them. If you haven't read Katy's stories you should! You will love them.

Great start to the duet!!! This was a great story with great characters. It flowed nicely without rushing the story. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from this author! Read it and you won't regret the time spent.

I really enjoy Katy's writing style. She doesn't waste a lot of time getting to the point. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars , was it ended with a cliffhanger. I wasn't in the mood for a series with this story. I'll read part two, but I'd rather read it all at once.

This started off promising and I waited with baited breath to see if he could actually become president. But then it tapered off into a boring back and forth between the two main characters.

Charlotte's family has been in the political spotlight her whole life, and when she's younger the president of the USA comes to have a dinner. Along with the President is his son Matt, who Charlotte is fascinated by. He becomes her first crush one that she never got over. She hopes when he grows up and run for office like his father, although that is the complete opposite of what he actually wants to do.

Matt has tried to stay out of the spotlight his entire life, especially after tragedy struck his family. But tired of what America has become he wants to run for President in order to bring about change.

Charlotte also never really wanted to get informed with politics instead choosing to further women's rights and such. But the dinner with the president effected her life in such that Charlotte had promised Matt that if he ever ran for President she would be there to help. A little far fetched that this promise would actually be kept because she was about eleven, but that's what happened. Matt contacted her the moment he publicly announced his

Everyone is all grown up now and when Charlotte and him meet sparks fly. Stuff happens and Charlotte ends up working for him as the campaign/scheduling manager. More sparks fly and they end up sleeping together, although it as to be hush hush because he can't afford any bad publicity.

The book goes between present, and past filling in the backstory of how each main character got to where they are and their budding relationship. I found that this worked nicely to give depth to everyone.

The only problem I had with this book was that it was a bit slow and not much happened. There was a lot of build up, but nothing came of it. It amounted to nothing. I think I'll pick up the next book to see what happens, but there is also a lot of my TBR pile so it probably won't be for a while.

HOLY. S***. This book was amazing!!!! This was my first read by Katy Evans and I enjoyed reading till the very end!! I'm a patiently waiting till January for the 2nd installment of this book (Commander In Chief) comes out! You will NOT be disappointed reading this!!

Five stars for Katy. Probably one of my new favorite series. Matt Hamilton is incredible and reminds me of a certain Canadian leader (I will always wonder if that was her intent...haha). Charlotte is awesome and the kind of female lead we all wish to read.
