Phil has a wonderful teaching style. He's very clear with no fluff. The book was very basic. Probably exactly what it should have been. I guess I was a little greedy and was hoping for a little more .

Great info. Have not found infomation like this anywhere else. He knows how to capture a penny if its loose in the air, lol. Definitely knows what he is doing. I've watched his videos on youtube which really help people learn concepts, venacular, professional norms, just a host of great info all together. I purchased this book, even though the download was free. I also purchased Real Estate Investing, Gone Bad to go with it. I like books I can hold, just old school. Looking forward to using quite a few of these techniques.

I am just beginning my journey into real estate investing, but this is by far the best resource book I have read to date. It clearly outlines all the terms, strategies, avenues, pitfalls, opportunities and rewards available in real estate investing in clear language and an easy-to-understand format. I will be using and referring to this book often in the months (and years) to come. Thank you, Phil, for such a wonderful resource tool.

This book really didn't have much new information. It has some basic explanations of real estate terms and different ways of doing deals. I guess it's good for a new investor as an overview but doesn't really tell you what to do as an investor.

Just recently got my real estate sales license and have been doing some research on investing. This e-book was very straight forward and digestible. It covers allot of techniques and strategies in enough detail to gain an overview of them. Its a good overview that the reader can use to help them choose which techniques and/or strategies appeal to them most before pursuing a more detailed look into those. You can find this stuff elsewhere but if you haven't already read a starter investor overview then this is worth your time and effort.

The author is one of the most interesting realtors in the US. His enthusiasm is on every page and his willingness to mentor people in this field – in person or from afar is quite amazing. He is motivating and inspiring.

One of the most complete and information-filled books on real estate I've come across in a long time. Anyone, inexperienced or pro, would do well too read this book of you plan to invest in real estate.

This book is packed with accurate real estate information. It had information I did not learn in real estate school, and I went to a very good school. It went into great detail regarding the mental and personality aspects of investing. Finally, this book has no fluff, it is very much "to the point".

Phil weaves his own personal story on how he became involved in the world of real estate investing. Throughout each section, he provides real world examples on the method used for each deal as well as the result. Definitely some encouraging points throughout the book and makes you question what you hope to get out of real estate. I will use this book as a reference as I continue my journey on real estate. Great read and I highly recommend it. Thank you Phil!

Pustejovsky starts this book out strong with so many lessons in the introduction that I can hardly wait to get into the meat of it.

My parents have been full time REIs for the last year and I'm going to recommend this book to them (they've been learning a lot as they go and I'm sure Phil's advice will help short-circuit some of the lessons).

Very happy with my investment in this book -- even just for the intro!
