I love the Author's Willow falls series so thought I'd try her other books. This didn't hook me the way the Willow Falls series did, but I am way beyond the target reader age so that may factor in ! I think a pre middle schooler would enjoy this retelling.

This is such an adorable fairy tale for kids! Even though the story takes place in a fictional historic setting, it is written with modern flair. It was really funny and I loved the characters. Benjamin especially made me laugh.

I was a little disappointed with the ending. It wrapped up a too neatly and too easily for me. But it was still a fun, quick read.

Cover: I love this cover! It is adorable and it is why I picked up the book in the first place. It is a little deceptive, though. I was expecting a modern setting, but other than the "voice" of the novel, it is a traditional fairytale world.

I usually don't like books about princesses, but I loved this book. I love this book because it is funny and heroic. The book has parts that are similar to the movie Tangled (a Rapunzel story). I think that this story of Rapunzel is better than other Rapunzel stories, because Rapunzel is a teenager in this book so she is a not so babyish like other Rapunzel books. Who would also like this book like me? I think it would be liked by girls ages 7 - 15.

My 10 yr old daughter borrowed this book from her teacher. She walked around with the book in her face everywhere we went that day. I asked her if I could read it when she finished and I finished it in a few hours. It was great! I love the way the girls side of the story and the boys side of the story are told.

I just caught my eight year old daughter picking up the book and thumbing through the beginning (she doesn't like reading long books) but she seems to be interested in this just from what her first few glances. This book could get her to start reading books more up to her level of reading! Who can argue with that! LOL!!

I'm now ordering a few copies. One for our personal library and a few to give away.

Very good book. Was a little slow at the beginning but it got more exciting as i read the book more and more. Love how Wendy Mass decribes the characters as the book went on. I love how the prince and Rapungel meet by her singing. One night I stayed up untill 11:00 because i needed tosee how this book ended. 5/5, really love it.

The book was brilliant, it looked on the story of Rapunzel in a way that hadn't been done before. The twists and turns are ALWAYS going to keep you on your toes; the author (whose name escapes me at the moment, for I am one of the ONLY forgetful one in my extened family) has produced a book that will entertain anyone of … an age … I'm hopeless at guessing age groups but I for one am 13 going on 14 in acouple of months and I enjoyed it as much as the next person.
In summary; "Twice Upon a Time #1 Rapunzel, the one with all the hair" was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

My [....] daughter absolutely loved this book. I was a little worried at first due to the length of the book, but it held her interest. We read it alound together, and she was one the edge of her seat wanting to know what would happen next. I liked the way there were two stories in one and how it switched back and forth and how it all came together in the end. I thought it was very well written.

Wendy Mass, as well as Gail Carson Levine, do something that the Brothers Grimm forgot: they give all of the characters names and porpuses. In the Brothers Grimm tales, we have no idea what the other character's (most often the prince) life was, which would have added better understanding to the story. I highly recommend the works of both Wendy Mass and Gail Carson Levine, for giving the second side to the story, or for adding reason.

This story is completely beautiful. It is a classic fairytale and a modern girl's life all balled up into one!: p It is just so beautiful and fun all at the same time!: ) My mother couldn't get me to reading so that I could do my homework!!!!!!(BTW, I'm eleven years old, so I am in fifth grade): p
