I Will See You in Heaven (Cat Lover's Edition)

I found this book delightful. As a Christian and dog lover, it was comforting to understand the blessings of heaven and to know that God is aware of our need of love from Him, our family and our pets.

In this book Jack Wintz, a priest, believes that there are many clues in the Bible that our pets do go to Heaven. He suggests that all of God's creatures, human and nonhuman, great and small, do go to heaven and we will be with them for all eternity.

The two books I ordered were in superb material condition when they arrived at my mailbox last weeki. It is a subject that has always fascinated me, but until now I was not able to really learn much about whether our pet friends will follow us into the heavenly realmsj.

Catholics are sometimes told, "animals have no souls, therefore they don't go to heaven." This book, written by a Franciscan friar, beautifully expands on the opposing idea---animals are part of the whole of God's creation, and surely they have a place in the Kingdom of Heaven. The short chapters discuss scriptures supporting that thought, and there is of course discussion of St. Francis of Assisi and his love of nature and animals. I also really appreciated the inclusion of three blessings for the the animals in my own life (including a comforting one for an animal who is dying or has died).

I bought this for my own children, who have loved and lost pets. This would also be a nice gift of consolation for someone whose pet is ill and preparing for their final journey out of this earthly world.

This is a lovely book and really is wonderful for someone who has lost their best fuzzy friend. It is well written and not cheesy. It is very comforting and is not preachy. It is a beautifully written book.

I received this book from a good friend after the passing of my beloved Kaylee. When another good friend lost her Koda, I purchased this for her. It helps in the healing process and reminds us that, yes, we will meet in heaven

seeing the Biblical reasons ...really reading what they say...well...it gives hope...I don't know how ..if we here on earth ...are given the wonderful animals that give us so much joy...they couldn't be there...I hear...well...we will be so filled with joy it wont matter that they aren't there...you can say that of every family member...so why is this different...a beautiful book
