Shade's Lady: A Reapers MC Novella

JoAnna Wylde is one of my favorite biker authors. She continues to give me bikers and babes with thrills and sass that will always keep me coming back for more. I love the fact that Shade was able to figure out Mandy enough to know her hard limits and only offer her what he thought she could handle so offering her freedom was exactly the right call plus it was sexy as hell!

This 1001 Dark Nights Novella gives us Shade, the Reaper's MC National President. We read about him in previous Reaper's books and in this book we find out how he meets Mandy, a waitress at the local bar, the Pit. This story is terrific! It's not so much a Reaper's book, as we don't read about any of the other characters from earlier stories. It's a more intimate book, dealing with Mandy, her family and her working it out with Shade.

I love the Reaper series and this novella was really good. I wish it could have been a full book. Shade and Mandy have lots of chemistry from the beginning. I enjoyed the evolution of their romance. The story moves along and kept my interest - couldn't put it down. There is drama, humor and sexual tension - all around good read.

Such a fantastic book! Kept reading it until 1am it was just so good I had to see what happened. LOVE all of JW's books, Reapers is the best MC series I have read. Cannot wait for more of these books!!

Shade and Mandy are hot and perfect for each other. Good story. Really good character development. Interesting and witty banter. Love the secondary characters. Would love to hear about Hannah and Heath, Dopey and Jen, Sara and Bonnie, and of course more of the Reapers. Write faster, Ms. W!

Everything I love about a good reapers book. The Grit, the humor, the amazing chemistry between not just the H and h, but the h and her sister too. I almost missed this because of the 1001 dark nights thing. So glad I saw it. So good. Love this author.

Loved Shade and Mandy! The conversations with Wonder Woman were pure gold! Mandy is on probation and helping her sister with her nieces, when she is "traded" for a $500 payment on a motorcycle to Shade, the president of the Reapers MC. 5 star read❤

This book is awesome! It has all the elements needed for a great MC romance. It's trendy without being hokey. I love Mandy the heroine she is strong and witty. Shade is sexy and a wonderful book boyfriend. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is super hot! This is another grand slam for Ms. Wylde!

Oh my heavens....this was truly an exceptional story. It is short and sweet. I love the MC genre. This story by far was the best. Its about finding your true soulmate despite the world getting in the way. ?????

Great story, loved both Shade and Mandy amd though they deserved much more time than just a novella. But for being short, Wylde packed plenty of action, romance and character into a short frame with no words wasted.

The Prez.... This hot little morsel gives us Shade's story who is the Reaper's National President. Full of everything you expect from a Joanna Wylde MC book – Alpha bikers, strong willed woman, smexy times on every surface, and a great story.

I loved this book. Even being a novella, the character development was on point. And I just adore Shade. He was the perfect amount of badass biker and charm. Mandy was the a great leading lady with spunk. Loved it!

Joanna Wylde is an automatic one click for me. This novella was no different. It lets us into an MC world that most of us would never even dream about. Really enjoyed flying through and watching the relationship develop. Loved this book!

Joanna wylde does it again. Fanfreakintastic. Shade is amazing. What a story. The Reapers MC will rock your world, Shade and Mandy are explosive. Didn't want this story to end. Could not put it down. 5++++++stars. Sooooo gooood.

I loved this book. The only drawback....I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END! OMG I now have a new appreciation for my childhood cartoon hero, Wonder Woman, too! Absolutely hilarious and hot to boot. I want Bones story now! Like, right now!

Another great story from Joanna Wylde. Some more of the Reapers president Shade. This book had everything, humor, sex, badass bikers, Wonder woman and batman. Lol. Kudos to you. You did it again. Lover those Reaper men

Better than her last Reapers book which was awful! Not nearly as good as the other Reapers books. This one was good but just stopped. I was left hanging. An epilogue at least would have finished book off nicely. Hopefully she'll write more Reapers & interject some follow up on Shade & Mandy?

Joanna Wylde is a master storyteller. She does a great job with delivery. This book was shorter than her other books hence the term NOVELLA...when in fact it is a little longer than most novellas. It captured my attention from the moment I opened the book. I am always ready to buy anything Ms. Wylde writes and I wasn't disappointed this time either. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more books that capture my mind and take me to places I would otherwise never get to visit.

Love, love love, absolutely loved it. By far my favorite of the Reaper's series. Really liked how well written Mandy was, very strong character. She wasn't all over the place and very firm in her position. Shade, all Alpha male, but not overly done. Wished I could have had more of them. Really liked how they worked as a pairing. Not a perfect pairing, but it was their HEA, very real. Loved it.

Loved this novella , couldn't put it down. Some novellas make you feel cheated because they are so short but not this one, complete satisfaction. Although I wouldn't mind a whole book on Shade, he is hot!!
