Since my medicine wheel sign is the wolf I always enjoy reading books about wolfs and their connection to the spirit world. It was sensual, funny and intriguing. I am excited to continue the series.

Maybe not a novel of epic proportions, but definitely not as bad as some other reviews indicate. The story starts out promising- heroine on the run from her boss, what appears to be a werewolf battle on the hood of the poor woman's vehicle- and then things start getting a little muddled. There is a lot of cutting back and forth between Jared & Erin's immediate problems and the villain/Jared's brethren. There is also a lot of bad coming from a lot of different sources and characters that seem to come up out of the blue, which is confusing at times. More than once I had to reread something to make sure I understood what was going on and where, or how, these characters came to find Erin & Jared.
Over all, it was an enjoyable, quick, read if you were able to keep up with what was going on.
