This is the beginning of a wonderful emotional series that I couldn't put down. I read this out of order, but I still loved it. The characters are people you want to know more about and get intertwined in their lives and journey. You will get lost in the words as I did and be glad for it. I voluntarily read a free copy of this book and am giving an honest review.

What an awesome start to Bristol and Grip's story! This is a prequel to Grip. This will give you all of the backstory of what happened between Bristol and Grip 8 years before and why Bristol feels the way that she does. I love this world that Kennedy Ryan has created. I fell hard for Rhy and Kai and loved Bristol and Grip in those books and I'm so excited to read their story. This is a great starting point for their story. Loved it!

ALL OF THE STARS!!!
I have never connected so deeply with a couple in such a short time. This is how you write a prequel. I don't think anyone could read this and not feel this story.
Flow is the prequel to Grip which is releasing March 2nd. This is a cliffhanger, but not too bad since we get the conclusion in less than a week.
I received an advance review copy of this book that I have chosen to review.

A most read a beautiful begining of a sublime love story that will become the best romance. Bristol will be dare to be vulnerable opening her heart to Grip (Marlon) Mr. Honey Bee Chocolate and his screaming girlfriend Tessa with a baby on the way. I think love will prevail once things get cleared out. Thank you Kennedy for another breath taking love story. I am going to continue reading Grip. Till the beat bring them together Bris and Grip

Like most of the reviews already posted, I was just plain blown away by the writing and the storyline. Dialogue was superb. I groaned, smiled, and laughed as the characters met and got to know each other. I felt like I was right there with the hero and heroine, watching and listening from afar. I've just found a new favorite author and I'm one very happy reader! Onto Grip next.

I'm so in love with their beginning, those first feelings when you meet someone you know will change your life . Bristol and Grip couldn't be more different . Circumstance wise , how they were raised , what they started out with. But none of that matters ... it's all about the feels ! This novella is just a taste of them , but man what a morsel !!! I can't wait for "Grip" their full story!

This book had me hooked from word one. Grip. Just his name implies how your heart will feel in his hands.
This is my first Kennedy Ryan read and I'm thoroughly impressed. Don't let it fool you, though! It's a hell of a ending, or beginning as the case may be .....but you can just speed into Grip's namesake book and not have a heart attack like me!

So prequels are usually tough for me to rate because I never feel like the characters/plot have time to fully develop. That being said, I absolutely loved Flow. Personally, I loved both Bristol and Grip. Their chemistry was perfect and I love how light was shed on some very delicate topics. I absolutely can't wait to see where their story goes.

Bristol and Marlon come from completely different backgrounds while they both have an undeniable connection both professionally and personally. This is a sexy, gritty beginning to an emotional affair that will span the pages in Grip! I loved the depth of the characters and could not stop reading once I turned the first page. A must read before you read Grip!!!

Flow by Kennedy Ryan is the prequel to Grip. This book takes places approximately 8 years previous to Grip. This book shows you how Grip and Bristol's love story started and the obstacles they had even back then.
It is a short story, but it GRIPS you from he beginning and it really shows you an insight that you would miss if you didn't read this book first.
Can't wait to dig into GRIP.

So rhythmic. So poetic. This heartwarming introduction had me smiling and in tears. A beautifully written start to a journey that I can already tell is going to gut my heart and wreak havoc on my emotions. Perfect title for a perfect story. This author did an amazing job opening up to what I can feel in my gut is going to be an epic love story.

This is where we see the beginnings of the relationship between Grip and Bristol. I liked the book but I didn't love it. I didn't really like the style (if that sounds right??) of the conversations at the beginning but this did improve throughout the book and by the end of it I was enjoying it a lot more.
I have already purchased 'Grip' so am off to start that now and am looking forward to seeing what happens between them!!

I just started my journey with Kennedy's books. I love the way she write. I gave only 4 stars because even if it belong to series, it coudl be a part o 1 part - book. I know for sure that I will come back for second and third book in this series, Bristol and Grip really intrigues me very much. Can't wiat to go in Grip !

This was a beautiful requel to Grip. Grip and Bristol have no idea what hits them when they first meet. Chemistry yes? But love? In such a short amount of time? All it takes is Pablo Neruda and a ferris wheel to show these two that their connection is real. However, through fear and stubborness, they waste years finding their way to each other. But was it really a waste when your able to eventually connect the dots?

Flow is the prequel to the Grip series and introduces how the characters met each other. It’s very “flowing” on how the characters interact and act around each other. I was very amazed how Ryan create such an epic story within such a packed book (novella). I’m stunned on Ryan’s poetry skills within the story.

Grip and Bris connection was amazing. I honestly believed their chemistry and attachment even though they only knew each other for a few days. I honestly loved both characters together and separately. I’m also really intrigued by Rhyson. I hope we get more relationship development between him and Bris. Can’t wait to start Grip! ?

A free story.
Girl from wealthy background wants to catch up with her genius twin brother, a musician, but
is met by his friend who does not come from money.
They connect, honestly, mentally, the white girl and the black man.

Kennedy Ryan's excellent writing drew me into the ease of reading this potential HEA. I love the banter between the 2 MC s and it makes you root for them as a couple. Grip mentions being involved with Tessa, but I almost forgot because of his great chemistry with Bristol. Until Tessa drops news that changes everything. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to finish the trilogy.

I was instantly drawn into this book and to these characters. You could feel the connection. The story has great flow(pun intended) Great story line and a throw your kindle ending. But all of it is addicting. And you won't stop till you are done. I would suggest having Grip already on your kindle before you start it. Highly recommended.

I just finished Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan, so this was advertised in the back of the copy I got, so I decided to see what it was all about, and I have to say: I'm hooked on this author.
I'm definitely looking forward to more of Grip & Bristol.

The heroine was racist, rude, and obnoxious. The only reason I tried to get through it was because I really did love Grip and he was an absolute saint for putting up with the heroine.

Kennedy Ryan spins an intricate background story on which to build an epic tale of tension, growth, heartache and heat between Grip and Bristol. These first smart, sweet days will have you begging for more. More conversations. More challenged assumptions. More breathtaking kisses. A MUST READ!

You'll definitely want to read this novella before starting on Grip. While you don't necessarily need to, it will make the relationship between Bristol and Grip all the more compelling! This novella had me hooked and hyped for Grip!

I had been seriously disappointed with some of the purchases i made recently... this author has renewed my faith! Absolutely brilliant....she touched on sensitive topics in such a bold and fearless way with just enough angst and sexual chemistry that held me spellbound. All the books in this series were magnificent. 5 out of 5
