The Relic Hunters

The best thing about books like this is their ability to take you on a ride to exotic locations, give you a history lesson, places to google, and keep you entertained. This book did all of them. The story starts off with action and doesn't stop. The journey, the history, secret societies, it's all fun. There are some reviews that mention the banter between characters being annoying, and I agree. I just skipped it. But, hopefully in the future, the author can take it down a notch. In all, read it. I loved it. Fun, exciting, lots of action and surprises. I can't wait till the next one.

Great start for a new series of relic hunters. Am anxious to see the score of the next adventure. This next one will set the pace for the future. Characters were well developed, well defined, and stayed in character.

Same time (now), same place (everywhere), but an entirely new cast of characters. Same tension and excitement and a rollicking good thriller. Makes me wonder what it will be like when the new gang meets up with ones we have come to know and love. Looking forward to more great adventure in the near future. Keep up the great work David; we are all breathlessly waiting.

I really enjoyed this book. It was typically David Leadbeater with a lot of fast paced action and edge-of-the-seat tension. There are a few grammatical errors but they didn't impact on my reading experience and will be ironed out quickly I am sure. I have read a lot of David's books and love the way each series develops. This has set the scene nicely for another series.

This is an enjoyable story, very similar to the Matt Drake series, but with new characters. At the beginning, the similarities seemed a bit much. But, as the story continued, I began to enjoy it more and more. I'll look forward in seeing where this series goes, hoping to see some new directions for this new group of friends.

Too many typos and little grammatical mistakes marred an otherwise exciting story. And I'm not totally sure about this main character, Bodie. Too much was unrealistic fight sequences and improbable outcomes. Although I forced myself through it, ultimately it was not nearly as satisfying as it promised.

I felled in loved with the story, loved the historical stuff as well. I also enjoyed the exciting action in this book, plus all the characters were unique and interesting. This book to me was just as great as the matt drake series, especially since its part of the matt drake world!

This promises to be a fantastic series! I loved the action new team, and that they are in the gray area of right and wrong, plus the interaction and banter as they chase down the relics. I particularly enjoyed the myth and archaeology and treasure hunts, and am definitely a fan of The Relic Hunters - I’m so looking forward to joining them on their next adventure!
