These are two of my favorite authors but this one just fell flat for me. I felt the characters acted much younger than they were. I felt Simon was very immature and Bridget was very naive for a widow with a young son. Didn’t connect with characters and didn’t feel the chemistry between them either. Sorry Dear Bridget, I Want You gets two thumbs down from me.?

OMG !!!! They did it again !!! The Dymanic Duo at their best .... Penelope & Vi are brilliant together ... Bridget & Simon what a story . How am I suppose to pick my favorite Cocky Bastard Male ??? Everything they write turns to gold ... You will not regret reading this or anything else they have written together ... By themselves they are fantastic story tellers , But together Fireworks !!!!

real fun, i enjoyed this probably in part cause i'm from RI and i am familiar with all the places. the water fires in providence, memorial hospital in pawtucket, the east side market. i tried to pin point where the main character lived. and wondered if it where i am from. anyway , cute story good characters. ,predictable in places, but i like it that way, i love happy endings.

Penelope & Vi writing amazing stories together. You can’t help but fall for Simon right along with Bridget. The chemistry & pull was there from the very beginning, and seeing them fall in love made my heart happy. The widow afraid to love again, and the sexy commitment phobe doctor had to work through their fears and take the risk.

This book was amazing! I laughed cried and had to fan myself at the sex scenes! It was a true love story and both characters were willing to sacrifice for the other! I loved the honesty Simon showed when he found out the news about Bridget's husband and didn't try to hide it from her. I love these two authors writing!! I loved this story and will definitely read it again.

Absolutely loved this book and Simon!! Vi and Penelope have written another amazing book!! I couldn't put it down and know anyone that reads it is going to fall in love with Simon and Bridget!! So grab a glass of your favorite drink and enjoy!!

Unpopular opinion.
Dear Bridget, I Want You started out so good and went down the hill so fast. I enjoyed the first 20% where Bridget meets Simon and I definitely had a few laughs. The story was too fast paced for my taste and I couldn't feel an emotional connection between them. I could easily feel their attraction to each other but it never went deeper. Their sexual chemistry was great and there was certainly some memorable scenes but I never connected with the characters or the story. The last 20% was too cliche and over the top that I actually rolled my eyes at how predictable it was. For who Simon was and what he wanted out of life, I felt it was too fast how he changed his mind and all of sudden wanted everything with Bridget. I needed more development from Simon and Bridget but definitely also from the story.
This wasn't my cup of tea and perhaps I just expected too much. Don't listen to me.

What can I say these two just keep outdoing themselves! This book is my absolute favorite by these ladies! Simon is a sexy, dirty talking Brit that you can't help but fall in love with! Bridget is a beautiful sweet woman! This story is sexy, fun, romantic and has some surprises. Amazing read I couldn't put it down! Thank YOU Penelope & Vi for this GREAT story!

Another excellent book from Vi and Penelope! I love Simon and Bridget story. Widow women with baggage need a second chance. Hot, sexy English Resident are my favorites.
Simon find what he don't know was he's future . Bridget find her second chance of happiness with a gentleman who love and respect her.
I recommend this story, I enjoy reading it.

Listen these ladies could write a book on changing a tire & it would be amazing. Outstanding book, it gets a 10 STAR rating, I love all their books. Don't think twice buy this book. This lady duo sure does know how to write contemporary romance. One of the best books of 2017. There was never a dull moment in this book. You will continue to swoon for Simon. I have to admit I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did.

What an amazing, enlightening, funny, exciting, heartwarming, romantic story. Bridget, a single mom, meets a hot Dr. When she ends up in the ER. Little does she know months later, said hottie would be referred to her for a renter in her house, by her BFF. So get ready for an emotional ride, with many ups and downs, but a great story and ending?!

Love the book. There’s nothing to criticize. Simon was so head over heels in love with Bridget. Some love stories, the characters are in denial, confused, anguished and struggled to deny their love. In this story, Simon’s love for Bridget was strong and unquestionably true.

Amazing read! I absolutely loved this book! Another home run for these authors! Simon and Bridget were so fun! This book has it all! I got the shock of my life reading this though that hasn't happened to me in a long time. So good!!!! I cried, I was mad...I laughed, a lot...I swooned. Ahhh! So great! Highly recommend!

I really have no words.... I bought this book when it first came out...don't know what took me so long to read it but it was fanfreakingtastic ..... this was my second book by Penelope Ward but my firsst by Vi Keeland but will not be my last... now to go look up their other books.... see ya

Another amazing read from this duo! Simon is a sexy, dirty talking doctor that steals your heart. Nurse Valentine is trying and failing miserably at protecting her heart. You'll be hooked from chapter one, literally! Enjoy, a must read!

What a great book. Really 'hooked' me and got me laughing. This was wonderfully done. I loved the banter and the open communication that just naturally evolved between Simon and Bridgett. And just melted over Simon falling in love with her son Little B. VK is now on my watch list.

Everything from these two authors is a must read IMO. Love the characters in this book. Not always sure I wanted to know the hero's thoughts early on in this book, but they were real. Overall, I love how he gradually changed as he falls in love with our heroine and her son.

When the male character looks like a blond Greek God with a brittish accent, I'm sold! And when he's a doctor with a ton of humor with sexual innuendos, I'm ready to play "Simon says"... This book is full of humor, charm and sweetness. I laughed and I cried and it had a twist I didn't see coming at all...

Wow! This book hooked me from the first sentence. I just loved watching the relationship between Simon and Bridget develop and grow. Vi and Penelope are a dream team writing duo. Keep up the good work. I will be watching and waiting for your next collaboration

This was another awesome collaboration from Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. The writing is beautiful as always. Simon and Bridget are perfect together and Brendan just completes the dynamic. I definitely would recommend this book to any romance reader!

This has got to be one of the strongest collaboration of two incredible authors.The quick dialogue and amazing chemistry of the two characters is simply awesome. The way this relationship plays out is brilliant and real. This is a modern day classic.

How carefully constructed this work is. Very thoughtful and loving. Each character has feelings and issues and twists and turns. At the conclusion it all comes together. Many heartfelt moments and emotions wonderfully woven together.

Loved this story!! It has everything a reader could want; mystery, suspense, intrigue, romance (yes great sex) and family. I read it in one night it is such a page turner. Don't miss it, its a great read.

I loved Bridget and Simon with all their wonderful surprising twist and turns! You can never go wrong with either one of this wonderful writers but you always get an extra treat when they write a book together .

I truly enjoyed this book. Its story line is not like every other so it's very refreshing. I loved every character and there wasn't a single part of the story that I didn't like. And the twist near the end... perfect.

This is such a beautiful story! I loved Simon and Bridget. The dialogues are so witty and funny in the beginning but as the relationship grows, the feelings become more intense and sweet. It is a wonderful reading!

We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.

Absolutely loved Bridget and Simon's story. It was brilliantly written. As different as they were they just worked. The writing was flawless. Fantastic.
