I liked this book. Although nothing in it is earth shattering it does a great job strengthening what I already knew and gave reasons to backup and legitimize what he is saying. All in all a good book and I did buy "Bigger Leaner Stronger".

I liked the simple methods that this book gives. I did feel like it was a tease to the book that you actually have to buy but I understand that is how the author will make money. Overall, good book and a good read.

Some good information in this book...BUT, the first chapter of this book is filled with a bunch of false statements. The authors ego is so puffed up that he actually says that every time you read an article in a muscle building magazine that you are being slapped in the face with things that are false about nutrition and building muscle. The arrogant, "totally false", statements in the beginning of this book caused me to stop reading it before I got to the third chapter.

Fairly straight forward book that gets to what you need to know without all the fluff. But like others have said it's kinda funny how the author spends a bit talking about fitness magazines are advertisements for supplements, and personal trainers are a waste of money, but "if you like this book buy more of them!"

Waste of time and money (for those who bought it). Get the Arnold Schwarzenegger encyclopedia instead, I did, learning from an original and the best and to get it right the first time because I know for me if information lacks and I find it I move on to find what works (((FOR ME))) the encyclopedia is choice.

Straight to the point and backed up by facts. Another great book by Mike Matthews. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to get in great shape. This book sets out a plan for getting lean, muscular and into all over better shape. Great for anyone of any fitness level.

This book holds little useful information unless you are a beginner. It gives you a few basic principles without going into detail. On top of that, the last 25 percent of the book is merely an advertisement for the author's main book.

The "book" is written poorly, despite saying it is science based, it appeals to emotions and authority to prove it's statements. Basically this is a long infomercial for the author's full length book.

This was a simple to the point read that contradicted most of what I've learned over the past 20 years of trying to lose 100lbs. I'm willing to try these recommendations and if they work I'll be back to give 5 stars.
