If you enjoyed the adult version, the you'll appreciate this kid version. Easy to comprehend for the younger ones and just insightful enough for them to ask rather provocative questions. It's a great way to teach and for them to relate habits you want to reinforce by mentioning, "Do you remember that chapter from the 7 Habits of Happy Kids?"......

This book is great! We are starting a new program at school and these fit right in. I read this to a group of first graders and they loved it! They were quiet and listened and then were very into the discussions. Very good product.

After reading the 7 Habits for Teenagers, I'm teaching the habits in my 4th grade class. This kids' book is a great way to introduce the habits. Cute stories with strong messages. So far, my students are responding well. They relate to the characters and understand the value of the life skills. I highly recommend this book.
Brides of the Kindred book 8 - (Alien Sci-fi Romance) :: (Alien-vampire science fiction romance) (Book 2 of the Brides of the Kindred Alien Warrior Romance series) :: Brides of the Kindred 7 - (Alien Scifi Romance) :: (Alien Shapeshifter Romance) (Brides of the Kindred Book 16) :: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families

This book provides families with a wonderful way to introduce and cultivate good habits. The characters who practice these universal "seven habits" are appealing to readers of all ages. The questions that accompany each story offer opportunities for families to develop good thinking skills and ways to plan for positive experiences together. I highly recommend this book!

This book gives you a solid direction to follow when trying so hard to instill in your children what you know are good long-lasting values but can't always find the 'child-friendly' words or ways to deliver them. I'm reading this to my 3 1/2 year old. Yes....3....not 13. He understands language and has from a young age. So the reading is not above his level to grasp the message contained. The phrases used in each chapter as key notes of the message are ones that any child can remember.
This book is a much needed resource that enables me to talk about the various things I've tried to teach him but in a way that draws upon memorable characters, impressionable drawings and a complete thought-provoking message. He has looked forward to reading each chapter AND talking about the questions at the end of each of them. We are able to draw upon the stories and examples of each character as we go through our day....which in turn redirects our choices and therefore our results....happiness - this book is a 'win-win'!

This book is terrible. Just a bunch of stories... vaguely hinting at the 7 habits. (Or couched in animal, Aesop-esque parables.)
Thought it would break the Habits down into parts children could understand. I was wrong. Guess I gotta buy the real thing. (I mean: I got it, to teach students, but... Not much there.) A waste of $ 13.

We bought it for when our grandkids come to visit. Several of them have been using it in school. ON several occasions they have voluntarily picked up the book and read from it. Great book. Service was great in getting it here before the grandkids showed up for the week.

My son's elementary follows this program and really emphasizes it, but even I didn't quite 100% understand it at first. Sharpen the saw? Huh? After reading this with my first grade son, we BOTH understand it so much better, and we apply the wonderful concepts to our lives. Putting first things first, for example, has cut WAY down on homework battles.
I highly recommend this, whether your school "subscribes" or not.

This is 7 short stories, all in one book. Awesome pictures and great stories about creating good habits. Very well done, with parent guide in back of book. Also "The 7 Habits Tree" in the back of the book, highlighting all seven habits, on one page. Sean Covey is a great childrens's book author.

Great book! Very practical advice with a plan how to be responsible from an early age. We love the characters, stories and illustrations. I think every parent and grandparent should read this to their children and grandchildren.

My school is becoming a Leader in Me school beginning next year, and I thought this would be a great way to introduce the 7 Habits to students. I am really disappointed in the quality of the stories and the clarity with which the habits are demonstrated.

I am a facilitator of the seven habits for highly effective people. This is a great way to introduce the information to my four-year-old in a way that he can understand. Excellent book for parents and teachers.
