This book had an EXTREMELY interesting and new take on the angels vs. demons concept. It was captivating and well written, along with mysterious and detailed. If you like the 'underworld' or 'angel' theme then you will love this book! I would definitely recommend it!

The premise of this story is new and interesting, but the writing is so bad, it's not really worth reading. There are so many gratuitous descriptions it confuses the story. You could remove a quarter of the words from the book and it would be a smother read. There is no way I could put up with reading the rest of the series despite the unique story.

This book is about Angels and Demons fighting to save mankind , It details their struggles to awaken a lost angel to make the family stronger so they can become complete and continue to fight the Demons.
Fate (My Blood Approves) (Volume 2) :: Flutter (My Blood Approves, Book 3) :: Hollowmen (The Hollows Book 2) :: Wake (A Watersong Novel) :: An Elemental Origins Novel (The Elemental Origins Series Book 3)

Characters well developed pace of the story good. main character showed a level of immaturity that you hope will go away. You expect more from her since she is an intelligent being. Enjoyed reading this

This book was great. I could NOT stop reading it! I never wanted it to end. It is a suspenseful book. With romance and and angels. I thought in the beginning it wasn't going to be good, but trust me, it got AWESOME! I could not put the book down.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and couldn't put any of the books down, including the prequel Taken. That being said, I would have liked for the ideas to flow together better than they did. At times they seemed to jump around rather quickly without much, if any, transition. It was hard to keep up with the story at times when the ideas changed so rapidly.

This book has everything, a great plot that leaves you begging for the next book and wanting to here just one more word of this a mixing and romantic stories of finding true love only to lose more of what you thought was forever.

Enjoyed reading this book, a good one for fans of the twilight saga and this genre in general, good story and take on angel/ demons.. However writing is not as fluid or well structured as it could be.. Something I'm sure will improve as writer progresses.. I do feel the story could have been tightened up with reediting.. Enjoyed it though and have moved on to 2nd in trilogy:)

The pace was slow, the plot didn't unravel towards the end, setting you up for the next book. I did love the characters and there relationships. I kept reading hoping it would get better but not till the end. Not sure if I would read on.

This book is interesting, but the author had a hard time keeping the book completely in first person. The plot is ok, but it seems like all Ana and the other characters do are go off on special "surprise" dates in the village and she feels like they are keeping secrets from her but it's nothing she seems too concerned with. And I know she was supposed to meet Athen and fall for him fast, but man! She meets him at her work and later that night he calls her and asks her to go out with him...that night. It seems like the author was just trying to get to the romance faster than what the characters needed. And their relationship doesn't have much substance.
