Short but sweet and to the point. This is my first time reading author, but it won't be my last.

The story kept me engaged. I enjoyed uncovering Brady's motives for his behaviors and his realizations in the end about what he wanted from life. I loved the story between them and the ending was super cute. It was an easy and enjoyable read.

Loved this book. I quickly read the second one in the series after finishing. I hope she writes more. What starts out as a really steamy night quickly turns into more. Kaye definitely has you rooting that these characters get past their childhood pains and figure out they should be together.

I loved this book! The story was really great and I fell in love with the characters. It was also really fun to read a book that is in a local setting for me. Laura Kaye is a fantastic writer. She always keeps it hot and sweet!

Another great read from Laura Kaye!! I could not put my kindle down! Brady and Joss are my new favorite couple and I really loved Kaden and McKenna from Hearts of Darkness! Getting to see Marco and Alyssa was just icing on the cake!!!

Once again, the author does not disappoint. Two very real and characters and real conflicts. Heart wrenching yet hopeful. This author does not rely upon the typical miscommunications and misunderstandings, weak reasoning behind characters behaving the way they do. The store is thoughtful and interesting from start to finish. I highly recommend.

This book is very adept at showing how someone raised in an abusive situation response to it the rest of their life. Also, it has definitely shown how facing your past can give someone a wonderful chance at a better future. Definitely a great read. The plot is not as simple as it seems. Must read.

Another Laura Kaye book that I couldn't put down. I really hope she adds another one to this storyline. If you are looking for erotica with very HOT scenes then anything by Laura Kaye is what you are wanting. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Brady was charming and Joss was cutesy when they met, but the entire middle of the book wad about him trying to win her back, all romantic and realistic, but it ended very abruptly and I HATE that!!! I thought there would be more to the story and there wasn't. Some adorable sexy banter between the two would have been great, or scenes as a new family would have been fun to read.

Ducky ending at 90%

I love this story! It's actually pretty typical, but I loved the characters and the way their relationship started. It played out a little redundant, but it so sweet that I would read it again and again.
