SEAL the Deal (Alpha SEALs Book 1)

For those who care: there are sex scenes, some coarse language but no cliff-hanger. Also a couple of language mistakes which I notice because I am pedantic; in one instance the narrative became first person just for one sentence, actually part of a sentence and the other thing was "cut and dry". Sigh! This is the third time in a short period of time that I am mentioning this phrase. It's "cut and dried", seriously, look it up.
Despite the couple of language slips, I did enjoy the book. The synopsis on the purchase page is pretty detailed so I will just say it was a fast read and a good introduction to the other SEALs whom, I'm guessing will have books of their own. The only thing I didn't like was Rebecca's extreme reaction to not being told something. She's a lawyer, for heaven's sake, I would have thought she would have been able to sit down and talk it out but I guess it added to the 'angst' in the story.
I would like to read the other stories in the series.

Hopefully the proofreading improved as the series developed. A dropped word in the sixth chapter made for a minor bump in the flow of reading, but the choppy incomplete sentences in seven were distracting. Also of note, the writer seems to be a fan of the phrase "impossibly hardened" and repeated it several times. Better proofreading or editing would have made it a four star..
