The recipes are pretty easy to follow and they are surprisingly good. The only problem I didn't understand where the portions. On calls for a cup of black beans is a lot for one serving another called for making a sandwich with a whole can of chickpeas! I just went to adjust with what would work for me, but two days of following 3 pounds down.

I purchased this product and am using it. The instructions are easy to go ride although I don't purchase my meals from this particular program, I have tried one type of nutrition bar and I need to try the others to find out which one I like the most. The nutrition bar I initially tried is the pineapple chocolate chip. It's doable, taste a little better heated. I have a local Gourmet Chef that preoare my meals, the plan does work if you stick to it.

Although the I am thrilled with the results of this program, the read and the actual diet was a bit confusing...I will agree with most others that the recipe and servings was enough to throw you off your fame plan... But I persevered by following my instinct and found I did not even use the recipes but just for the first several days of the program…. I went to other sources and I am having a wonderful affair with this way of eating? I may not turn completely as I am a meat eater but I will see the program through with no problem! I will also adopt vegan in my life, say at least 85%

Good book, good ideas and what he says makes sense, BUT, I saw the author on The View and one of the hosts asked him if the recipes were easy to prepare. He said "yes"…I bought the book with that in mind and I can say, I do like the recipes, but if you have a full time job, you might find it IMPOSSIBLE to prepare all of the meals on the 22 day plan. Some of the items require "boiling for 15-20 minutes", "boil then simmer for 20-30 minutes", 'soak beans overnight", "simmer for 45 minutes", "bake in the oven for 30 minutes". I'm thinking of quitting my day job so I can prepare these meals or maybe hiring a full time chef. Last night we made the raw walnut tacos and they were delicious, but at least half of the meals are very time consuming. Also note that you must have a food processor for most of the meals. Just be prepared, because at least one of the daily meals requires 45 minutes or more preparation. I suppose you can make them the night before or on Sunday. Also, I thought Beyonce's shameless promo for her "big announcement" on Good Morning America was misleading.

This book changed our lives!!! I had always been thin but as I Hit my late 40s I put on a few pounds here and a few there. Next thing I knew was I was 20lbs overweight and miserable. This way of eating was easy to follow and the recipes were simple to put together. Over the first 22 days I lost about 12 lbs and my husband the same. We stuck with the program after and it's now been six months - I am down 20lbs and my husband 15! We have more energy and feel better than we have in years! It's not a "diet", it's a way of life. Highly recommend!!!!!
