This book is a good introduction to Dekker's style. The book also shows his personal journey in his walk with Jesus. It is a every encouraging read. Looking forward to reading some of his other books.

I learned more about the author than I knew before. Knowing his background and his struggles makes me know I am not so unique in mine. I have some of the same thoughts. I look forward to reading ‘Forgotten’.

Great narration of a popular writer's candid expression of his confusion and pain as a believer. He clearly narrates his healing and finding of real relationship in the Christian faith. Insightful, especially for nonbelievers.

He casts aside the centuries of man's tweaking of the words of Jesus and makes them personal as only someone who has walked the journey can do. I think you will find yourself somewhere along the same journey.

Jesus showed us the way, through his words and actions. This book brings to light how awesome Jesus's words and particularly his actions were. Jesus completed his work, so we can be complete...here, now while on this earth.

I would recommend this book. It is refreshing and definitely needs to be read once a year as a great reminder of how much better we are as daughter/son of the Father.
