I always enjoy Shannon Mayer's tails. She takes you into an alternative universe that touches the reality of the human world and manages to mix the two with intreging possibilities. She is always an interesting story teller.

Shannon Mayer is a really good read anyway,but this series is well worth the reading ,the imagination to put together the storyline then actually deliver the goods is rare ,usually they just peter out but not this author

Veiled Threat is an amazing book and super good fast exciting read. Mayer has provided another action packed book with Rylee the Immune Tracker and her Guardian werewolf, sidekick werewolf Alex, bestie Witch pregnant Milly, foster child-witch Pamela, & more amazing characters along for the ride. Love is key in this book and thank goodness it's got another coming out on it's geeks in August!

So Liam and Alex and Faris all recognize some sort of change in Rylee, her heart for sure, and she too wonders why she feels so oddly. Long lost relative makes and appearance and huge part of this book and she finds out her swords and whip are not the most powerful part of her. Blaz and Ophelia are in this one much more and we see the bonds between rider and Dragon grow. Anxious to see what becomes of Milly's baby and of Liam when Orion makes his big move.

I stumbled on the Rylee Adamson series through Book Bub and have been hooked ever since! They are suspenseful without being too dark, considering the subject matter is about a finder of lost children. Very fun with characters I've grown to love. I hope to see lots more from this series!

Really loved the series of books although I have noticed that they are a bit short...could have easily put two books together to count as one book. But...this seems to be a trend in a lot of book series that I have bought using my kindle.

The book Veiled Threat is just as compelling as the previous books, it links together the past and the present in a way you remember each of the characters. Can't wait until the next book in August 2014.
