Once again, Shannon Mayer knocks it out of the park. This is a new series that picks up where the “Elemental” series left off. Pamela is the protagonist, a young un-trained elemental / witch trying to survive after the world has been destroyed / remade. (If you haven’t read Shannon’s others this may sound confusing but you will jump right in) She is a loner, aside from her familiar Oka but determined to help everyone she can. If you have read Shannon Mayer before you probably LOVE her work and you will not be disappointed by this one. An emotional roller coaster with incredible Urban Fantasy action. Buckle up and be ready to cry if you are reading in public. A new series and I can hardly wait for the next installment .

I LOVE Pamela from the Tracker Series (Rylee) and now she gets her own spin off. This time Pam picks up after the Elemental series and she is thrown into this new world with new dangers, new monsters and finding herself again and thankfully Oka is with her to help guide her. There are so many twists in Aimless Witch, Shannon has definitely done a superb job of keeping you on your toes. I could NOT put Aimless Witch down and I am SUPER DUPER excited to see what trouble Pamela gets herself in and with who.
If you have been itching to get into world of Rylee and Lark, Pamela will take you right back in and you will NOT be disappointed.

Before reading this story, I do think it is important that you read Pamela from the Blood of the Lost Epilogues. Aimless Witch talks about her mentor and background and a refresher/introduction is helpful.

Aimless starts off slow with a broken witch and then picks up speed with Pamela being forged in battle. One of my favorite quotes, from Pamela, is, “I had a destiny—I was sure of it. I just didn’t know what exactly it was”. It is great to see the start of this destiny and I can’t wait to see what twists Mayer throws at her characters and readers.

I received an ARC copy and have left a honest review.

I have to admit, Pamela is not my favorite character in the Rylee world. Maybe because Rylee is my favorite character in the verse and I keep comparing Pamela to her. But, I loved this book. I love Oka, Mac, and ALEX! Alex is one of my absolute favorites. Pamela and Oka are on their own in a world devastated by change. It is a harsh and unforgiving, apocalyptic world. They meet up with a caravan of survivors. She doesn't know if her family is alive or even safe. She fears she will not be strong enough to save everyone. I can't wait to see what happens...to see her reunion with Rylee and the rest of her family.

Wow, So I absolutely loved this look into Pamela's life after the Destruction and learn even more about her. She is very fierce, loyal and loving! She takes what is inside of her and what she learned from Riley over the years to make her a formidable force, especially being as young as she is. She is kind of a mixture of Riley and Lark with her own twist and her own familiars. It was like reuniting with family and learning what she has been up to since I last read.

Definitely a recommended read with an ending that leaves me impatiently waiting for the continuation!!

This long awaited book about Pamela did not disappoint.... I LOVED IT!!!!

Frankly I am still in AWE of Shannon Mayer....

Pamela has struck out on her own after the destruction of the world... Thanks Lark the Destroyer...

The trials and tribulations she is put through is nothing but staggering.... yet she somehow struggles through them.

She is strong, she has Oka and some new friends and allies to help her through...

I am sure her struggles have just begun and I can't wait to see what comes next for her.

Another wild ride! Pamela is a very young and very powerful witch whose powers are stripped away, forcing her to confront her darkest side- her Mother’s.
If you read the Rylee Adamson series you will enjoy reacquainting yourself with Pamela as she grows from a reckless teen to an adult. The new characters evolve nicely and the chemistry between her and Mac is wonderful!
As with all of this Author’s stories, there is neck-break action from first chapter to the last, so buckle up!
Oh... and for Rylee fans... the last page will rip you apart!

OMG! I am Speechless , I truly am trying to think òf the words to describe this story but feel that anything I put will not be good enough or do the story justice! I have loved all of the Rylee Adamson stories and the elemental stories and the spinoffs and this one, Pamela the witches story is every bit as good and as addictive as the rest of them, I cannot recommend them enough! Well written, fast paced , emotional ( yes I cried in places!) this story is amazing and I just cannot wait to read the next one!

An interesting book. Introduces you to a post apocalyptic world where EVERYONE is trying to survive. Filled with magic, zombies, Macies, and a sassy talking cat that will steal your heart and constantly make you laugh.
This is actually book five in the same world. I was able to get through this book without having read the others (I did not know they were the precursors to this new series), but if you don't want to feel like you are missing out on a vital part of the story the whole book, than read the other series first. Look for Shannon's first book in this world; Riley.

I fell in love with Shannons writing in the Rylee books, and found Pammy there, then on to Lark and her books, with Pam showing up again there. To now go on to find out what's been going on with her in her own books, is like checking in on an old friend. I'm in love with the cast of characters, old and new, with the plot twists and where she is now in her life, this is a must read!

OMGoodness......I can't get enough of Shannon Mayer's books! Everyone is better than the last. I have to say, that I was not in to Pamela prior to Aimless Witch...now....I am impatiently waiting for the next book! Aimless Witch was an amazing look into who Pamela really is, it is almost a coming of age story- paranormal style- with trolls, zombies and more! It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will most definitely keep you turning the page. It is a must read! It is action packed!

Pamela!!! This book is the beginning of something beautiful. Lovely little Pamela is fending for herself in the world after she destroyed it. She's so lonely at the start that it makes my heart hurt! However, in true Mayer form, something amazing begins from her place of misery. Pamela begins to find her true strength and moral compass. It's incredibly well written, funny, a bit romantic, and exciting. Book 2 can't come quick enough! That ending though!!!!!

A shiny new series from the very talented Shannon Mayer.
This is a fast paced, post apocalyptic, fantasy story with magic, monsters, powerful friendships and even a gentle smattering of love!
You do not need to have read any of Shannon’s other series however those regular readers will be rewarded with some familiar faces and surprises.
This is truly an edge of your seat story; expect gasps, cheers and tears. I’m very excited for the next instalment in this series.

This story starts after the rending, what everyone was calling the world after it was destroyed to be saved. Humans and supernaturals are all trying to survive and Pam and her familiar Oka are just trying to find purpose - Pam feels it is not time to return to her family and she is honestly not ready to face them if they are still upset with her for her part in the destroying of the world. She tries to act as protector for many humans and other supernaturals, all on a quest east, heading to a Haven where everyone can live in peace (supposedly). But Pam has been placed on the radar of a powerful witch and her elemental powers have been stripped - will she be able to use the dark magic inside her to save the others without losing herself? If you liked the Elemental series or the Rylee Adamson series, then you should pick this one up. There’s a lot more going on in the story, but I don’t like leaving spoilers...just teasers. Wanna find out more, read it!!!

A fantastic spinoff series! Pamela, from the Rylee Adamson series, takes center stage in this book as she fights to stay alive in the aftermath of the reset of the world. The world is broken. Humanity has been all but completely decimated. Shifters roam looking for those whom they can take down, or bring into their groups, and some of the humans who have survived are just as evil as they were before the breaking. Pamela, with Oka, is fighting to protect those whom she is helped by. But it will not be an easy task, especially when there are those who come and hamper her severely.
Aimless Witch by Shannon Mayer literally had me squealing in 10 seconds flat when the author described Oka. Let's just say I ADORE cats. LOL! So, yeah. I went a little nuts. Now, this book is fast-paced, insanely good and trust me when I say, will have you in your feels. So, get ready. Pamela seriously has a major uphill battle to fight as things just keep hitting her one after the other. I never stop rooting for her though! I keep hoping that she'll find someone to help her out, but everywhere that she turns, she's told that there is no help. That she, Pamela, must become the helper! She must become the teacher. I'm just like...mind...blown!
This novel is INTENSE! I couldn't put it down. It was a bit of a slow start for me at first, yeah, I have some catching up to do, but once I got deeper into this book nothing could tear me away. So my recommendation is this...you plan on reading this book? Clear your schedule. Get someplace you can be alone. Because you will not be wanting to put this book down or be disturbed while reading. Yes. It's that good. Also, make sure you have some kleenex nearby. I literally cried. More than once, too. I love stories of where things don't go perfectly and this book fits that description. You hope for the characters, but then when things begin to fall apart you get to see them rise even higher and become so much more.
I have to admit, Shannon Mayer is absolutely one of my favorite authors and she continues to amaze me with each story that she writes. I can't get enough of it. This author keeps me coming back for more. When I finished the book I howled...Give me more!! LOL! I am an avid fan and reader of end of the world books, and this book is perfect. If you're not familiar with the Rylee Adamson story, read that first before you dive into this book. That series set the stage for this series.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book is fantastic. I need more. I want more! Pamela is such a fun character and I love Oka. Grab this book! Read it to the end! It's purely fantastic. I honestly cannot say that enough. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

So this starts as the world is still breaking and Pamela seems to still have an innocence to her. Bad crap happens and she's hard and seems to be retreating into herself. Of course it's children who pull her back. This was an amazing read and I'm really excited to continue reading this series.

Aimless Witch takes up where Larkspur’s & Rylee’s ends...this book can be enjoyed without having read/listened to the two other series, but if you want to understand the references start with the Rylee Adamson series followed by the Elemental Series (Larkspur). This story has plenty of action, self discovery, and pure entertainment. Love this series already! The characters are likable and believable & the storyline engaging.

This is my first taste of Shannon Meyer's storytelling genius, and I couldn't help but fall in love with it. Pamela is hilarious, kind, snarky and genuine all rolled into one amazing main character. Mayer's world weaving is so stunningly perfect you truly believe that, somewhere in an alternate universe, Pamela, Oka, Richard, Mac and all the other entities in this masterpiece really can exist.
