This is basically a portable and concise version of the textbook. VERY helpful during clinical because I can bring it with me in my bag and I also used it as a quick review before exams. Highly recommend!!

If you are getting ready to take or are currently taking medsurg, I highly recommend getting a clinical companion. At first I couldn't understand how some people were getting all of their reading done before classes. Then someone was nice enough to point out that they were using a clinical companion. This edition went along with my textbooks and really breaks the information down to what you need to know, without all the filler reading that is in the textbook. This is a must have for MedSurg

If you have to buy the Medical-Surgical Book, this clinical companion is a must. It summarizes the need to know information in a much smaller form. I could not have survived MCA 1, 2, 3 without this book.
