I really enjoyed this world. I love omega verse world as long as a woman is in the story. The story is a fun read. However I just get tired of the fact that she just doesn't tell a story in one book she tells the story over a series of books with a lot of erotica thrown in. I feel more satisfied reading a book with an ending. I hate cliffhangers and often skip books when I know it is if the story holds my attention enough. Now please heed her warnings. This book does have a lot of triggers. I also love happy endings and my understanding
Is that she does not always offer those in her books. So for those of you who read to escape you might not be so happy with the way her books end.

I can't wait to read more about these characters. Similar Omegaverse to Addison Cain's other work but pretty different to make a note here. I am normally not a fan of reverse harems but I didn't mind this one much at all. As to be expected with Addison Cains world and character building. The Characters are more complex than on the surface and their full motives aren't very clear, I feel a shoe is going to drop in book 2. If you aren't a fan of dark, emotionally charged stories this may not be a book for you.

Another gripping addition to the Omegaverse stories Addison writes, I couldn't put it down. The characters were interesting, the setting made me more and more curious, and I only wanted to dig deeper and know more. I was not happy when the book ended but if I know one thing about Addison's books, it's that she will have another out soon enough to help ease the pain. It's running along a more dark and dirty edge of themes so for people who aren't into gritty, raw sexual encounters, maybe steer towards other stories, but if you're adventurous and enjoy Addison's other works, you'll enjoy this one too.
Crave To Conquer (Myth of Omega Book 1) :: Slow Heat (Heat of Love Book 1) :: Stolen (Alpha's Control Book 1) :: Born to be Broken (Alpha's Claim Book 2) :: Shadow of Eden

I voluntarily received this book for a fair and honest review. Ok when this book was offered for review with hidden gems they did display a warning that this book was a dark read. Oh boy they were right. If you are not into dominance and a female character being forced then this book is not for you. The alpha's are straight up jerks while Wren is a mute who is just trying to survive while taking care of two orphan boy's. I did enjoy the book. I found it a little too short, but it just makes me want book 2 in the series. I really hope the author can redeem the alpha's some.

Branded Captive completely blew me away! This book, the first in a new series Wren's Song, is a dark and emotional read that really drew me in and left me wanting more!

Addison Cain pulls you into a world filled with tough alphas who run the show and a sweet omega who just wants to protect those she loves. Although this was a short read it was packed with subtle world building, amazing characters, and a dark setting that I really loved!

I can't wait to read more about Wren and the Alpha's who invaded her life!

I love Addison Cain’s books and this new Omegaverse world is no exception. Anyone who enjoys Omegaverse should read this story!

Wren is a mute omega taking care of two orphans, Alec and Mikael. When the two boys go missing she finds them working for an Alpha and barters herself for their freedom.

As always - I can’t wait for book 2 !

If you like it dark, dirty and dripping, this book is for you. Wren survives a less than pleasant encounter with her first alpha, only to find herself dropped into the bowels of society where she becomes the property of the baddest of the bad and his 2 cohorts. Don’t even consider buying this book if you have issues with dubious consent or sexual violence. If these don’t bother you and you lean towards the dark edge, then go for it! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

This book lacked almost everything. Maybe this is the writing style for this particular author and I'm out of the loop, but man.
1) The main character got raped from start to finish by four men. Like, raped raped.
2) There was NO explanation for what kind of world they lived in, what they were, or shoot, what time period they were in.
3) There was NO plot. Not a single purpose in the story. There was NO real goal for the MC besides getting raped so that she can take care of her adopted sons and that's absolutely unheard of in a novel.
4) There wasn't any kind of character development. The MC was introduced by getting raped, reintroduced by getting raped, and then she just kept getting raped and/or molested. The new characters simply just raped her, we don't know what kind of guys they are besides rapists.
5) The POV randomly changed with no indication of who's speaking. Sometimes it changed within the same chapter, which is not the proper way to do it.
6) The writing in and of itself was difficult to comprehend. I had to constantly reread sentences to figure out what the author meant.

So all in all, the book has a lot of sex, but it's never consented. If you love reading books that is only written to showcase a woman getting raped, this is the book for you. This story could have been amazing if it didn't focus so much on raping the MC and instead on developing the story line and characters.

Love this new read in the Omniverse fantasy world?. Wren, a mute Albino has been branded as a defective Omega and dumped to survive in the Warrens. Until attracting the attention of the most dangerous gang leader there. In this ultra hot dark read Wren's life becomes out of control in her captivity to her new Alpha and his gang.

Holy hotness! This story started hot and got hotter as we taken in a sci-fi world and discover what it means to be in a omegaverse harem. Unable to talk, Wren an omega finds herself in a situation that’s filled with naughty, dark pleasures with an alpha and his second and third in command. My first time experiencing this world of omertà verse and it didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for the next part in Wrens journey. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

This book was crazy! There was sexual content I didn’t care for but I can’t lie it left me wanting to know what happened next. I had hope the main alpha would keep her for himself and he would actually be good for her. Then he let the lower level alphas have their way with her and that kind of upset me. Especially because she had told them no and no one listened. I’m hoping in the next book she’ll be able to enjoy things more and there will be a happily ever after.

Welcome back to the Omegaverse. Like all of Addison's stories, I was sucked in quickly and the end snuck up on me. I don't care how long one of Addison's books are they are never long enough for me. She writes amazingly complex characters and intense story lines. Wren and her boys instantly wriggled into my heart, and I'm hoping for some future redeeming qualities for the men. Right now they are not my favorites. I can't wait for the next one!

Addison Cain has done it again! Another fantastic book in the Omegaverse world.

Brandon Captive is about Wren who isn't able to speak Omega who was cast out by her own Alpha. This fiesty Omega is willing to do what is necessary to protect her boys. The story is dark, edgy, raw, filthy and sexually charged! I couldn't put the book down. I definitely highly recommend this book and can't wait for the 2nd book to be released!

This Alpha doesn’t mind sharing his Omega, but this woman has definitely caught his attention. With three men and one woman, it could get complicated, and this author is known for taking her readers on roller coaster rides. I’m going to hang on and see where this one takes me.

This one is certainly dark, dirty and delightfully sinful to read and I enjoyed every minute of it! Not my usual type of book, I will admit but I am finding the more I find authors who push into realms other than what I usual read, tend to drag me with them and boy am I glad Addison Cain did just that with Branded Captive. I can't wait for book 2!

Wow, this story jumps into Hot from the first sentence. I had to reread it to make sure I read it correctly. Caught my attention and couldn't wait to see what happens. Yes at first I thought this poor girl, Wren was going to have an awful life after being sold. She has a good heart, and this story will have you rooting for her. Caspian will make you think twice. I voluntarily read this book for a honest review.

This story started out with a bang, no pun intended. It is a dystopian, sci-fi story about a young girl who is sold as an Omega to an Alpha and she doesn't perform to his standards so she is branded and discarded. Even her own father doesn't try to save her. She's young, mute, and left to fend for herself in a place that will either kill you or make you a very strong person. In order to survive, you have to keep your head down and stay away from the Alpha's who run the underground.

Wren will find out that she is stronger than she was aware when she has to find the two young boys that she took in because they didn't come home one day. She finds them in the Alpha's domain and she walks right in and takes them. She walks up to the Alpha, Caspian without showing fear and faced him head on to let him know that she was taking these boys with her. He thinks she is either crazy or looking to die. They make a pact and he lets her go, but he goes with her.
This was not the story I was expecting to read, but I was not put off by it. I'm not generally a dystopian reader, but this one was well written. I give the story a 3.5 star review.

The sex in this novella is plentiful and hot, with lots of creativity and raw intensity. Like most erotica, the story line falls a distant second to the sex, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a little more going on so it’s not like reading a diary of sex events. We’ve got the boys to worry about, which is good. Is there an Alpha coup lurking in Caspian’s future? Something to help us move from sex scene to sex scene?

Wren appears almost albino with her white hair and skin, but lavender eyes. She is also mute and an innocent Omega. When a cruel Alpha has her branded as defective, she is abandoned in the Warrens by her father. Fast forward a few years, Wren, now known as Jax has built a life scavenging, trading, and protecting her "boys"; two orphans she has adopted. When the boys don't come home she seeks them out and finds them with Caspian, the lead Alpha in the Warrens, and his two seconds Kieran and Toby. She bargains herself to save the boys. Caspian forces her to nest and accept his claim; which is when he realizes she is not defective at all.
I liked the numerous details of life in the Warrens and the characters are interesting. Wren's character is well developed although her muteness is not explained. The Alphas characters are not as well defined, perhaps to lure you into the next book. Caspian seems unusually cruel, and I'm thinking Toby might be a serial killer! I would recommend this book to readers interested in Omegaverse stories. I received an ARC from Hidden Gems in exchange for an honest review.

This story has dubious contest and non-con themes in it.
All People are divided into one of three groups: Alphas Betas Omegas.
Wren is an Omega That was marked defective and left outside The City to rot There. What will happen when an Alpha and his second and third take Her for themselves?
Od you are into dark, Power Play reads were almost everything can be a trigger this read is for you.

Wow! I definitely was not expecting such a harsh world and even harsher characters that are in this story. In this world where Alphas rule, an Omega named Wren has struggled to survive. Branded defective for not pleasing her mate, she has been sent to an abysmal place called 'the Warrens' to spend the rest of her life. Years later, Wren has made a little life in the Warrens and watches over a couple of orphans, Mikael and Alec, that were abandoned. While looking for them one day, she stumbles across Caspian, a stone faced Alpha that runs everything and everyone within their world. To ensure Mikael and Alec's safety fom Caspian, she accepts Caspian's offer to mate with him.

This is not a sweet love story. This is about a harsh world filled with agression and violence. Wren is such a heartbreaking character who has been treated badly by everyone in her life. Caspian is not a nice Alpha. He is mean, crude, and rude. This story has a cliffhanger, so be prepared. 3.5 stars.

Addison can write dark like few authors can and this novella is no different. I do think that the reader needs to be somewhat versed in the whole Alpha/Beta/Omega world or this book won't make much sense. Well written and concise, this novella is dark and dirty. Be warned that is book is the first in a series and will hook you into wanting to read the next installment as soon as possible!

This was not what I expected. I like the dominant alpha books but this was awful. There were literally no redeeming qualities in these 3 lead male characters. The h is raped in the first few pages and then raped multiple more times by the "anti-heros". She is starving, dehydrated and injured and they still are using her body anyway they want. Using her biology against her so she doesn't have a choice but to respond is still rape. I have no desire to read the next book in this poor characters series and hear about how much more she can be degraded, demeaned and abused by the men in this book. I will not be reading anymore in this world or by this author if this is the kind of stuff she writes.

A very hot and brutal omega verse story. We follow Wren, an omega, after she gets tossed out into the Warrens. Here she survives as an scavenger and support two adopted boys by salvaging tech and harvesting mushrooms from the mud. When the boys are in trouble she makes a deal with the Alpha Kingpin Caspian. Her body for the boys. What she doesn’t realize is that the deal includes two extra Alphas, Kieran and Toby. And all three Alphas are very dangerous and potentially life threatening for Wren. It was just so dark and delicious that I cannot wait to see what follows next.

Definitely different, not necessarily bad. I thought I would try something different than my normal. The writing itself was great, the content was just not my cup of tea. There were parts that I felt that were just a little too gross and I just couldn't stomach, therefore I skipped ahead a little. But overall it wasn't bad. I received this as an ARC and am leaving my honest opinion.

No! It was too short! That twisty lady, Addison, is as cruel as her Alphas when she gives us this tiny taste of the magnificent story to come.

Branded Captive is viscerally captivating, and I can't wait for the next installment.

I received this free ARC book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. Addison Cain writes some seriously disturbing books. You either like them or hate them. I loved Wren and her taking life and dealing with it the best she can. The three alphas in this story were A-holes, and stayed that way through the book. Maybe they'll get better in the next book, or not...

I received Branded Captive in a free the store Giveaway. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. Pretty much anything goes n this storyline. Raw, erotic, and dark (not sure I'd classify it as romance, though)- the overall story was good, and the sex was intense. Not for everyone, but great example of the dark erotica/taboos genre.

Sweet omega even without a voice her wishes are known. As little mouse she can roar like a lion and have the pack at her feet. Ruthless alphas who are strong enough to rip out your throat are captivated by her sweet scent. You want to read this over and over. Can't wait for the next book.

I received a copy for an honest and voluntary review.
An Omega sold by her father to an Alpha who claims her virginity and calls her defective...she is tossed to the Warrens, a mud encrusted hell hole with the worst type of Alphas.
She cares for two young boys caught by the Alpha, one very ill, and she is placed in the position to save Them by submitting to the Alpha, his second and his third.
Aggressive sex, expectations she will welcome them, and anger if she doesn’t. She discovers she is submissive and reacts to rough and aggressive sex, just not mentally but physically.
Where will this go? Will she be cared for or tossed away like all the multiple women kept at their disposal.
The rough, nonconsexual sex and hard and unforgiving men..dirty, fear and fighting to survive each day.
It draws you in wondering who will survive and how!

This a very dark and twisted Omegaverse story. Wren is an mute, albino trying to live in the so called mudlands. Caspian with his two lieutenants Kieran and Toby are more villains than heroes controlling the mudlands. Wren endures a lot from them to keep her orphan boys safe. Omg this story was completely amazing strong mute omega who believes she is defective and a strong monster alpha trying to control her. I am speechless without words and truly felt everything she was going though. Definitely needed a long Ice cold shower afterwards. Truly can't wait to find out what happens with her and the kids.

This is an extremely dark book about Wren and her alpha pack. Definitely not for the faint hearted. With that said though, it was a great read. Story flowed well and got me interested enough that I'm looking forward to the next book in what I assume will be a series.

If you are looking for your first Addison Cain book, don't start with this one. It's so good, you'll kick yourself, for having to wait for the next installment. If you, like myself, read all her books, then buy it now. The story is compelling, dark, with hints of the Alphas starting to care for Wren/Jax. I simply wish it were longer, or the next book already written, as her books always leave me wanting.

Absolutely loved this reverse harem omegaverse by Addison Cain - Now one of my favorite stories from her. I thought Lee Savino and Renee Rose wrote the kinkiest wolf shifter books, but I am wrong. Their shifter books are amazing, but these wolves are the kinkiest. They got down and dirty in this book. There was an instance where I had to say omg, wth! I have to read book 2and hope it’s released soon!

Wow, I really enjoyed the erotic grimness of this story, and am eager to read more of Wren’s story. Erotic and grim are not two words you would think go together, but this author did it, and well. The world is dark, despairing, and sexually charged, and I can’t wait to return to it.

As usual, Addison Cain's newest work is an engrossing read. This author knows how to write dark and vile characters and create a story so dismal and devoid of warmth, it's suffocating and you feel trapped in a world where there is no gentleness or light. Her language is raw, filthy, embarrassing--as are the situations she describes. There is no romance here, only animal, the very basest lust that really pushes the envelope and may be too salacious and smutty for the average romance reader.
This story revolves around a frail omega who catches the lustful interest of the head alpha and his two alpha brothers. The sex is as dirty as it gets, the men share this soft beauty who happens to be mute, and do anything they want with her. She let's them, in exchange for the care and protection of a sick child she watches out for. While it is not a hundred percent consensual sex (on her part), there is always pleasure as the animal attraction between Wren and the men is like a compulsion and cannot be denied.
Addison Cain's books are a guilty guilty pleasure straight out of your darkest, hidden and vulgar fantasies. Addison Cain has the courage to write that which we'd rather forget and never admit to thinking, and never air aloud. Her excellent ability to write a story lures you in and doesn't let go. We read on, with bated breath, always hoping that something good will come out of this base, ofttimes horrific and brutal union of hardened and cruel alphas and the lamb in their midst.
Will definitely read the second half of this story when it comes out.

Wow. I mean seriously, wow. That was one hell of a read. The first line of this book was interesting enough I wanted to read it and never stop .. never without question.
This book is dark. Extremely dark, but wow is it hot! I was caught from the first page and could NOT put it down.
When is in for so much and while I LOVED this book I do hope her and the guys connect a little better and grow a little closer in book 2.

Some people hate it .. but I loved it.. so .. do what your heart says ..
